    How would I execute a query equivalent to "select top 10" in couch db? For example I have a "schema" like so: title body modified and I want to select the last 10 modified documents. As an added bonus if anyone can come up with a way to do the same only per category. So for: title category body modified return a list of latest 10 documents in each category. I am just wandering if such a query is possible in couchdb.

    Any clues why my programmatically defined UIScrollView (using the application frame) always leaves an empty space at the top (below the navigationBar) of 20 pixels. How can I close that? I am trying to login to Google/Youtube using clientLogin, retrieve an AuthSub token, exchange it for a multi-session token and then use it in our upload form. Just a note that we are not going to have other users logging into our (secure) website, this is for our use only (no multi-users). We just want a way to upload videos to our YT account via our own website without having to login/upload to YouTube. Ultimately, everything is dependent on the first step. My AuthSub token is always being returned as invalid (Error '403'). All the steps I used are below with username/password changed. Anyone have an insight on why my AuthSub is always invalid? I am spending an enormous amount of time trying to get this to work.   • WCF Stream.Read always returns 0 in client

    I've spent most of my day trying to figure out why this isn't working. I have a WCF service that streams an object to the client. The client is then supposed to write the file to its disk. But when I call stream.Read(buffer, 0, bufferLength) it always returns 0.   • SurfaceView drawn on top of other elements after coming back from specific activity

    I have an activity with video preview displayed via SurfaceView and other views positioned over it. The problem is when user navigates to Settings activity (code below) and comes back then the surfaceview is drawn on top of everything else. This does not happen when user goes to another activity I have, neither when user navigates outside of app eg. to task manager. Now, you see in code below that I have setContentVIew() call wrapped in conditionals so it is not called every time when onStart() is executed. If its not wrapped in if statements then all works fine, but its causing loosing lots of memory (5MB+) each time onStart() is called.   • Edges on polygon outlines not always correct

    I'm using the algorithm below to generate quads which are then rendered to make an outline like this http://img810.imageshack.us/img810/8530/uhohz.png The problem as seen on the image, is that sometimes the lines are too thin when they should always be the same width. My algorithm finds the 4 verticies for the first one then the top 2 verticies of the next ones are the bottom 2 of the previous. This creates connected lines, but it seems to not always work. How could I fix this?   • underline line thickness always one pixel...

    ...regardless of font size. Its an mx:Text object. (The Text object is actually being used as a mask so don't know if that's the problem.) If underline is set with the <u> tag in Text.htmlText, or Text.textField.setTextFormat, the underline thickness is always just one pixel which is not acceptable. (There are other problems with <u> so I'm limited to using setTextFormat currently.) Can the thickness of an underline be set through CSS? (textField.styleSheet, etc.) I may have another problem as I already use setTextFormat extensively, and the documentation says you can't use textField.setTextFormat if you use textField.setStyleSheet. I primarily need the underline to simulate correctly the look for an anchor tag.

  • jquery ajax method always returning an error?

    I have the following ajax call and it always hits the error callback function every time it is called. The code in the handler is still run after the error but the success callback is never executed.
