  • setting up eclim to support php

    i have the plugin pdt installed with my eclim using: DISPLAY=:1 ./eclipse/eclipse -nosplash -consolelog -debug \ -application org.eclipse.equinox.p2.director \ -repository http://download.eclipse.org/releases/helios \ -installIU org.eclipse.php.feature.group i compiled the thing using dargs for php: ant -Declipse.home=/home/tipu/downloads/eclipse -Dplugins=php but creating a project gives me: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Unable to find nature for alias 'php'. Supported aliases include: javascript=org.eclipse. wst.jsdt.core.jsNature, java=org.eclipse.jdt.core.javanature while executing command (port: 9091): -editor vim -command project_create -f "/home/tipu/phpproj2/" -n php thoughts on how to fix?

    The current release of Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse, though in technology preview, brings Oracle ADF binding to the Eclipse IDE. You can download the Software from the link below: Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse (12.1.1.1.0) Technical Preview New June 2012 Certified on Windows 7/XP/Vista, MacOS, and Linux. Supported on JDK 6. For many Eclipse users, ADF is new and therefore I expect them to need guidance and help in case they run into issues they don't know how to recover from. Similar, ADF users familiar with Oracle JDeveloper that want to give OEPE a try, will find things different in Eclipse and thus may have questions.  For both audiences I suggest to post issues to the OEPE forum on the Oracle Technology Network: I'll extend my OTN monitoring to include the OEPE forum on a daily basis to learn about developer needs, requirements and - of course - to catch bugs that need to be filed. From my side this is a part-time involvement, which means that the more ADF questions show on the forum, the more help I could need in answering them. The OTN forum for JDeveloper in my opnion wouldn't be the right place to go to unless the question is a generic ADF question that is not dependent on the integration in Eclipse. This would seem like an obvious element of the debugging environment, and I may be missing something, but the only thing resembling a console says "no consoles to display at this time"

    Assuming you're already using the m2eclipse plugin, what can you do it doesn't update the dependencies to the latest in your repo. For example, on the command line you can just add the -U flag as in: mvn clean install -U to force the dependencies to be updated.     I have a custom timer that extends android.os.CountDownTimer. I have a test in the test project (standard Android/Eclipse project config) that tests the custom Timer. When I try to run this test, I get a java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: android/os/CountDownTimer at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass1(Native Method) at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(ClassLoader.java:698) You get the idea. Can I not run code that references android code code in junit test?

Or even find out which file is generating the variable that's passed in.     Hi, currently I'm developing in eclipse 3.5 in different project web applications for tomcat 6.0.24. For each of this project I have written a ant build file to generate the war file to deploy the project to the tomcat container. So I have to run for each project the ant build file (a lot of clicks, and a waste of time). Question: Is there a possibility to run all needed ant build files with a single click, from a single project or whatever? Best regards, Alex
