  I would like the VB.net WebClient to remember cookies. I have searched and tried numerous overloads classes. I want to login to a website via POST, then POST to another page and get its contents whilst still retaining my session. Is this possible with VB.net without using WebBrowser control ? • Delphi/Pascal training in high school/college/university

  Are Delphi/Pascal being taught in any high schools/colleges/universities, particularly in Canada and the US? I was surprised how many schools in the UK are teaching Delphi. Their largest exam board is even dropping PHP/C#/C in 2011 and encouraging Delphi. I also remember that CodeGear was going to provide development tool licenses to Russian schools a couple of years ago. I'd like to know if it's being taught closer to (my) home.

• smallest filesize for transparent gif

  I'm looking for the smallest (in terms of filesize) transparent 1 pixel image. Currently I have a gif of 49 bytes which seems to be the most popular. But I remember many years ago having one which was less than 40 bytes. Could have been 32 bytes. Can anyone do better? Graphics format is no concern as long as modern web browsers can display it and respect the transparency.

  When adding relationships to a database model in DB Designer 4, a composite primary key is being created every time. So every foreign key I add, I get an extra key added to a composite primary key. I think I must have changed a setting as I don't remember it doing this in the past.   I'm writing a netscape iplanet plugin (on solaris/C using eclipse) which is basically a shared object with specific entry points, and I'd like to be able to debug the shared object with eclipse's debugger (gdb). I remember doing something similar in AIX where you could make xldb attach to a running process. Is it possible to get eclipse to run gdb to attach to a running binary? And should I expect grief because I want to debug a dynamically loaded piece of code?
