    Hi there, I need to find out if anything exists between two nodes. My XML looks like this: <event value1="1" value2="2" value3="3" <info="some info here"/> Line 1.</lb> Line 2.</lb></lb> Line 3.</lb> Line 4.</lb> </event> My goal is to convert the </lb> nodes to </br> HTML tags using XSLT. There is one additional requirement to fulfill though. In case there is one </lb> directly following another </lb> I want to output only one </br>. My XSLT looks like this: <xsl:template match="lb"> <xsl:if test="not(preceding-sibling::lb[1])"> <br/> </xsl:if> </xsl:template> The problem with the XSLT above is that it works correctly for line 1 only as the text between both nodes is ignored. Maybe someone here can help.

    Hello All, I am using C# to send an email with an encrypted link. The encrypted portion of the link contains a time stamp that needs to be used to verify if the link is more than 48 hours old. How do I compare an old time to the current time and find out if the old time is more than 48 hours ago? This is what I have now: var hours = DateTime.Now.Ticks - data.DTM.Value.Ticks; //data.DTM = stored time stamp if (hours.CompareTo(48) > 1) //if link is more than 48 hours old, deny access. return View("LinkExpired"); } Comparing ticks seems like it's a very backwards way to do it and I know that the hours.CompareTo would have to be adjusted if I stick with comparing ticks. How can I just get a value for the number of hours that have passed?

  • How to check for duplicate files?

    I have an external hard drive on which I have backed up files several times. Some files were modified between backups, others were not. Some may have been renamed. Now I'm running out of space, and I'd like to clean up duplicate files. My idea was to md5sum every file on the drive, then look for duplicates, and diff the relevant files (just in case, haha). Is this the best way to do this? What are some other methods of checking for duplicate files?

    I was just wondering which would be cheaper, using a try catch block for index out of bounds or checking the length of a multi dimensional array and comparing values? I have a feeling it's the length, since I can store the length in a variable and then just do if's which are relatively cheap. I'm just not sure how expensive try-catch is. Thanks!

    Can anyone recommend an efficient way of determining whether a BigDecimal is an integer value in the mathematical sense? At present I have the following code: private boolean isIntegerValue(BigDecimal bd) { boolean ret; try { bd.toBigIntegerExact(); ret = true; } catch (ArithmeticException ex) { ret = false; } return ret; } ... but would like to avoid the object creation overhead if necessary. Previously I was using bd.longValueExact() which would avoid creating an object if the BigDecimal was using its compact representation internally, but obviously would fail if the value was too big to fit into a long. Any help appreciated.

I don't know if there is a way to express the following concept in the language of regex: Valid entry would consist of exactly one of the three components : aaaa, aab and bb, regardless of order, followed by an arbitrary sequence of a or b's So this is what is should be like : (a{4}Ua{2}bUb{2})(aUb)* where the content in first braces is order irrelevant. I have an general idea how to write this macro but I don't have enough knowledge about writing test macros for Autoconf. Algorithm: Run "uname --release" and store output Parse output and subtract Linux version number (MAJOR.MINOR.MICRO) Compare version I don't know how to run command, store output and parse it. Maybe such macro already exists and it's available (I haven't found any)?

    I've got a little problem with my password-checker. There's got a registration form with some fields. I use jQuery Validate plugin to validate user-inputs. It all works except the password-validation: The password should meet some minimum requirements: minimum length: 8 - I just use 'minlength: 8' at least one lower-case character at least one digit Allowed Characters: A-Z a-z 0-9 @ * _ - . ! At the moment I use this code to validate the password: $.validator.addMethod("pwcheck", function(value, element) { return /^[A-Za-z0-9\d=!\-@._*]+$/.test(value); }); This Code works for the allowed characters but not for minimum requirements. I know that you can use for example (?=.*[a-z]) for a lower-case-requirement. But I just don't get it to work. If I add (?=.*[a-z]) the whole code doesn't work anymore. I need to know how to properly add the code to the existing one. Thank you for your answers! It would be nice if there was a way in FlexUnit, or other means, to Iterate over all views in the app Get all titles, labels, column headers Run some pattern checks and fail where needed. Does anyone have a suggestion on what the best way would be to achieve that?     Hi, I am using "networkActivityIndicatorVisible" in UIApplication for showing network spinning gear in status bar if my WebView( I am setting "networkActivityIndicatorVisible = YES" in "webViewDidStartLoad" and reseting in "webViewDidFinishLoad" ) is busy. It works fine for single UIWebView. For Multiple UIWebViews i have used a "stack" to trace which webview is busy and which one is idle and it is working fine. My question is there is any way to know whether an application is busy or idle in application level(in UIApplication) instead of checking each webview so i can remove stack. Thanks.
