  • Wordpress - how to replace <!--more--> with string on the_content() in single.php [migrated]

    - by Bob Cavezza
I want to add text on a single wordpress blog post page where the "read more" text would usually be inserted. However, I can't configure a plugin to replace that text. I tried a few different sources, but I'm having trouble finding the solution. After looking through WordPress plugin: finding the <!--more--> in the_content and the page it links to, I still haven't been able to find a solution to this.

  • Runnin Framework 4.0 with Powershell

    - by Mike Koerner
I had problems running scripts with Framework 4.0 assemblies I created.  The error I was getting was  Add-Type : Could not load file or assembly 'file:///C:\myDLL.dll' or one of its dependencies. This assembly is built by a runtime newer than the currently loaded runtime and cannot be loaded. I had to add the supported framework to the powershell.exe.config file.<supportedRuntime version="v4.0.30319"/>I still had a problem running the assembly so I had to recompile and set "Generate serialization Assembly" to off.

  • Defining pages by custom variable, reporting to Google Analytics

    - by zwolfson
Does anyone know how I could add some information to my page (whether in a meta tag or some other way) to indicate to Google Analytics that a page is targeted to a certain segment? This is pretty straightforward on my main site where everything is set up in hierarchy by target user so I can just use the URL to filter the data. However for my subdomains, its a flat structure that's just a bunch of landing and conversion pages so I can't use the URL. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

  • fast 3d point -> cuboid volume intersection test

    - by user1130477
Im trying to test whether a point lies within a 3d volume defined by 8 points. I know I can use the plane equation to check that the signed distance is always -1 for all 6 sides, but does anyone know of a faster way or could point me to some code? Thanks EDIT: I should add that ideally the test would produce 3 linear interpolation parameters which would lie in the range 0..1 to indicate that the point is within the volume for each axis (since I will have to calculate these later if the point is found to be in the volume)

  • Five Tips on Using Facebook to Increase SEO

While it might be common sense for those of us looking for increased Page Rank to see Facebook's glistening "10" ranking and immediately begin salivating at the prospect of exploiting it to boost our own pages, there are several important points to note before investing a significant amount of time into Facebook for SEO purposes. Links on your business or web page's Fan page on Facebook contain the "nofollow" tag, which indicates to search engines (Google, Yahoo, etc.) that the link should not be crawled and, therefore, will not add to your page rank.

The Trash Destination and this article came from early experiences of using SSIS and community feedback at the time. When developing a package it is very useful to have a destination adapter that does nothing but consume rows with no setup requirement. There are stock tasks that can be used, but with the Trash Destination all columns are treated as selected automatically (usage type of read-only), so the pipeline knows they are required.
