• MSTest on x64 C++/CLI

  I got a problem using MSTest on x64: The test project depends on a couple of C++/CLI assemblies, and fails to load for some reason. In Visual Studio, I get (stripped down): Error loading D:\xxx\Xxx.Test.dll: Unable to load the test container 'D:\xxx\Xxx.Test.dll' or one of its dependencies. Error details: System.BadImageFormatException: Could not load file or assembly 'Common.Geometry.Native, Version=1.1.4574.22395, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. Running MSTest manually in a command prompt, I get: Unable to load the test container 'D:\xxx\Xxx.Test.dll' or one of its dependencies. Error details: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'Common.Geometry.Native, Version=1.1.4574.22395, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. Details worth mentioning: The test project itself is compiled using 'Any Cpu'. I use a x64 specific testrunconfig Dependency walker shows no missing native dependencies in the C++/CLI assembly (Common.Geometry.Native) Even more interesting, there is another test project in the same solution using the same C++/CLI assembly (Common.Geometry.Native), and it runs without any problems. I have also verified that there are no 32bit assemblies/dlls interfering. Any suggestions is welcome !

• custom cells uitableview - cannot display all the rows

  Hi guys, I'm creating a uitableview with custom cells which I created in Interface Builder. There are currently three cells (UITableViewCell). I have a UITableView which is on the view. The code I have is fairly standard, but I cannot work out how to actually SHOW the three custom cells. I am using the cellForRowAtIndexPath method. My aim is to get a grouped uitableview which shows like the following Item - Name Settings - alert - time So the above indented view should be my grouped uitableview. The problem is, I cannot get it to show using code. The uitableview will ALWAYS be this. I am trying to replicate the settings style screen... so I do not have any arrays to display the uitableview cells. How do I actually display my three cells? I have the following code - (NSInteger)numberOfSectionsInTableView:(UITableView *)tableView { return 2; } - (NSInteger)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView numberOfRowsInSection:(NSInteger)section { if (section == 0) return 1; else return 2; } - (NSString *)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView titleForHeaderInSection:(NSInteger)section { if(section == 0) return @"Item"; else return @"Settings"; } So all I need to know is how to actually display my custom cells inside the tableview!   I'm developing an html editor using ComDlg32.ocx (Commom Dialog Control), using HTML and VBScript. My exact requirement was to prompt Open/Save/Color/Print/Font dialog boxes.Ive written code for prompting Save file dialog box. Also I've added a license file using LPK Tool onto my webpage. • "Link" against a SWC in Flex

  I'm trying to do a very simple app in Flash/Flex, that loads an image embedded in the swf itself and then shows it. The thing is I'm trying to do it using the command line only (mxmlc and compc) and without using @Embed, and failing miserably. I'm using compc to put the png inside a swc : compc --include-file icon_big.png icon_big.png -output assets.swc This generates a 17 kb assets.swf, slightly bigger than icon_big.png. Then I try to compile and link Main.as : mxmlc -include-libraries+=assets.swc Main.as This produces a 944 byte Main.swf, which clearly doesn't include the asset, and fails at runtime. According to the mxmlc docs I found, -include-libraries should link with every class, including the ones not directly referenced by code (as is the case here, since I'm getting the class from code), and it unsurprisingly fails at runtime. Note that this same code (or, more precisely, quite equivalent code) works when used within a Flash project - I'm not looking to fix the code, but how to do in the command line whatever Flash does internally. I feel I'm just "not getting" something... any clues?

  I have a select menu that displays countries. It looks at the DB and judging by the value in the db shows the option as selected. • C++ Map Question

  Hi. I'm working on my C++ assignment about soccer and I encountered a problem with map. My problem that I encountered is that when I stored 2 or more "midfielders" as the key, even the cout data shows different, but when I do a multiplication on the 2nd -second value, it "adds up" the first -second value and multiply with it. E.g. John midfielder 1 Steven midfielder 3 I have a program that already reads in the playerPosition. So the map goes like this: John 1 (Key, Value) Steven 3 (Key, Value) if(playerName == a-first && playerPosition == "midfielder") { cout << a-second*2000 << endl; //number of goals * $2000 } So by right, the program should output: 2000 6000 But instead, I'm getting 2000 8000 So, I'm assuming it adds the 1 to 3 (resulting in 4) and multiplying with 2000, which is totally wrong... I tried cout a-first and a-second in the program and I get: John 1 Steven 3 But after the multiplication, it's totally different. Any ideas? Thanks.

• multithreading issue

  I have written a multithreaded crawler and the process is simply creating threads and having them access a list of urls to crawl. They then access the urls and parse the html content. All this seems to work fine. Now when I need to write to tables in a database is when I experience issues. I have 2 declared arraylists that will contain the content each thread parse. The first arraylist is simply the rss feed links and the other arraylist contains the different posts. I then use a for each loop to iterate one while sequentially incrementing the other and writing to the database. My problem is that each time a new thread accesses one of the lists the content is changed and this affects the iteration. I tried using nested loops but it did not work before and this works fine using a single thread.I hope this makes sense. Here is my code: SyncLock dlock For Each l As String In links finallinks.Add(l) Next End SyncLock SyncLock dlock For Each p As String In posts finalposts.Add(p) Next End SyncLock ... I did not include the rest of the code which shows the threads working but this is the essential part where my error occurs which is basically here postlink = finalposts.Item(i) i = i + 1 ERROR: index was out of range. • iPhone UIScrollView embedded UIView is clipped

  Hello. I have an iPad UIView subclass (we'll call LargerUIView) with which I do a bunch of drawing via drawRect: once asked. That all appears to be working, and looks the way I like. I'm at the point now of trying to get scrolling working (just in the horizontal to begin), yet when I try to scroll, what shows below is black (ie, appears to have never been drawn). That doesn't surprise me as it's likely been clipped. Looking for suggestions. • How to remove a status message added by the seam security module?

  I would like to show a different status message, when a suspended user tries to login. If the user is active we return true from the authenticate method, if not we add a custom StatusMessage message mentioning that the "User X has been suspended". The underlying Identity authentication also fails and adds a StatusMessage. I tried removing the seam generated statusMessage with the following methods, but it doesn't seem to work and shows me 2 different status messages (my custom message, seam generated). What would be the issue here?   In my application I have created a SplashScreen that will b shown for 5 Seconds and after that it executes an if else case depending upon the values stored in the Preference file. If Preference file contains values then the AsyncTask code will run else the Login form will load. When i try to run my application. • CF - How to get mouse position when ContextMenu pops up ??

  I have a problem i cannot solve. In my view (that shows a map) i created a contextMenu. When context menu is invoked i need to get the position where the user has clicked on the map. Here is my problem: In the view i already have onMouseDown event that gets me the coordinates where the user clicked. private void MapView_MouseDown(object sender, MouseEventArgs e) { this.lastMouseDownX = e.X; this.lastMouseDownY = e.Y; } When the contextMenu is invoked i need the same data, but the problem is that contextMenu only has EventArgs that dont keep the data i need. Furthermore ... contextMenu is invoked when user presses and holds mouse for a second and when its invoked the code does not enter onMouseDown event ! It just goes into popup event on my context menu.... I tried putting this in my popup event, but the coordinates are not ok. Then I installed Oracle XE client on my Test machine which is also working fine and I can access Development PC database from Browser. • How do I place another attribute to a MKAnnotation?

  for my app each annotation on a map corresponds to a mine locality. each mine has its own unique 7 digit integer identifier. I'm trying to add the property minesEntryNumber to the annotation so when the annotation is clicked on later I can bring up specific information on the selected annotation. It loads the map and shows the annotations. however when I try and put this in it brings up an error. So how do I add this property to each annotation and how do I access it later in a different .m file?

  Finally been making it through Apple's (rather dismal) documentation on the new UIActivityViewController class and the UIActivityItemSource protocol, and I'm trying to send different data sets to different actions called from the activity view. To simplify things, I'm looking at two things. A Facebook posting action, which should say "Check this out!" and also attach a URL to the post (with that cute little paperclip). A Twitter posting action, which should say "Check this out, with #hashtag!" and also attach that same URL (with the same paperclip). It's relatively easy when calling the iOS 6 SL-class posting modals; you just call the individual methods to attach a URL or an image. How would I go about doing this here? I'll note that instead of returning NSString objects from -activityViewController:itemForActivityType, if I return just NSURL objects, they show up with that paperclip, with no body text in the post. If I return an array of those two items, nothing shows up at all.

• Detecting whether user stayed after prompting onBeforeUnload

  In a web app I'm working on, I'm capturing onBeforeUnload to ask the user whether he really wants to exit. Now, if he decides to stay, there are a number of things I'd like to do. What I'm trying to figure out is that he actually chose to stay. I can of course declare a SetTimeout for "x" seconds, and if that fires, then it would mean the user is still there (because we didn't get unloaded). The problem is that the user can take any time to decide whether to stay or not... I was first hoping that while the dialog was showing, SetTimeout calls would not fire, so I could set a timeout for a short time and it'd only fire if the user chose to stay. However, timeouts do fire while the dialog is shown, so that doesn't work. Another idea I tried is capturing mouseMoves on the window/document. While the dialog is shown, mouseMoves indeed don't fire, except for one weird exception that really applies to my case, so that won't work either. Can anyone think of other way to do this? Thanks! (In case you're curious, the reason capturing mouseMove doesn't work is that I have an IFrame in my page, containing a site from another domain. If at the time of unloading the page, the focus is within the IFrame, while the dialog shows, then I get the MouseMove event firing ONCE when the mouse moves from inside the IFrame to the outside (at least in Firefox). That's probably a bug, but still, it's very likely that'll happen in our case, so I can't use this method).

• Google Maps API V3: How to jump to a specific marker from outside the map?

  I have a map with two markers on it. The initial view of the map only shows one marker, and I want to provide a link next to the map that will move the map to the 2nd marker when clicked. • jQuery.post() issues with passing data to jQuery UI

  Hello, I am trying to get jQuery.post() to run my php script and then open a jQuery UI dialog with the data that php script returns. Its supposed to come back as a form with a table and a textarea in it. It works great with alert(data); and i get a pop-up with all my data. The problem starts if i turn off alert(). Now it opens 2 dialogs. One containing only the table, without textarea, and the second one absolutely empty. What am i doing wrong here? How come all my data shows up in the alert(), but not in dialog? What do i need to do to fix it? Oh, and do i need to also include $.ajax() before the $.post()? • How to suppress error message details to general DNN Users

  I have a DNN site (05.02.03) in test and nearing release into production and I would like to suppress the details of error messages (i.e. Null Reference Exception, and others) to general users (admins can still see the details). Debug is off in the web.config. By suppressing, I mean the only error message I want to display to the general user (all users) is something like "An Exception has occured". I don't want the details of that exception to be displayed to the general user. I still want it logged in greater detail in the Event Viewer. How would I go about doing this? Update: I have "Use Custom Error Messages" checked. Which shows a error message like: A critical error has occurred.[vbCrLf] Object reference not set to an instance of an object. I want just the "A critical error has occured." error message to be displayed to general users. I don't want the "Object referece not set to an instance of an object." to be displayed to general users

• check whether mmap'ed address is correct

  I'm writing a high-loaded daemon that should be run on the FreeBSD 8.0 and on Linux as well. The main purpose of daemon is to pass files that are requested by their identifier. Identifier is converted into local filename/file size via request to db. And then I use sequential mmap() calls to pass file blocks with send(). However sometimes there are mismatch of filesize in db and filesize on filesystem (realsize < size in db). In this situation I've sent all real data blocks and when next data block is mapped -- mmap returns no errors, just usual address (I've checked errno variable also, it's equal to zero after mmap). And when daemon tries to send this block it gets Segmentation Fault. (This behaviour is guarantedly issued on FreeBSD 8.0 amd64) I was using safe check before open to ensure size with stat() call. However real life shows to me that segfault still can be raised in rare situtaions. So, my question is there a way to check whether pointer is accessible before dereferencing it? When I've opened core in gdb, gdb says that given address is out of bound. Probably there is another solution somebody can propose.

  I have an Android App that uses In-App-Billing to sell Account Managed Items. I tested the App with the static respons ids and everything seems to work. I now want to test the App with real product Ids. I created the App in the Google Play Store and uploaded a draft Version of the App with the correct Permissions. I know created an In-App-Billing item and published the item. At the moment the App is unpublished, the item is created and published and I have a test account that is registered in the Profile of the developer account and is the only account on the device that I use for testing. The App is signed with the same key as the uploaded draft. Edit:I'm testing with Android 4.1 && 4.03 at the moment If I try to buy the item the Google Play Store pops up but shows a dialog with the following method: The item you requested is not available for purchase. How can I test buying the item without publishing the App?

  Hi, I'm using Visual Studio 10 and I just created a Database using SQL Server CE. Within it, I made a table CSLDataTable and that automatically created a CSLDataSet & CSLDataTableTableAdapter. The three variables were automatically created in my MainWindow.cs class: cSLDataSet cSLDataTableTableAdapter cSLDataTableBindingSource I have added a DataGridView in my Form called dataGridView and datasource cSLDataTableBindingSource.
