  I have a string builder like StringBuilder sb = new StringBuilder("Value1"); sb.AppendLine("Value2"); Now I have a string say string str = "value 0"; I did sb.Insert(0,str); and then string[] strArr = sb.ToString().Trim().Replace("\r", string.Empty).Split('\n'); The result I am getting as (Array size of 2 where I should get 3) [0] value 0 Value1 [1] value2 But the desired output being [0] Value 0 [1] Value1 [2] Value2 Where I am going wrong? • My cookies won't stay (PHP).

  I'm building an autologin system using cookies, but one fundamental part of the functionality of the cookies fails: they are non-persistent over different sessions - or even pages! In my login script, I set the cookies like this: setcookie('userID', $userID, time()+86400); // (edited after replies) $userID has a value. Then I print the $_COOKIE variable and it says array(['base_usid'] = 1); So that's good, but when I click the home page and print the $_COOKIE variable there, it says NULL. Does anyone see the problem?

  Hey guys I got an issue in magento when listing products. $_productCollection = array(); $key = 'product_collection_'.Mage::app()->getRequest()->getRequestUri(); $_productCollection = Mage::helper('cache')->getDataInCache($key); if (empty($_productCollection)) { $_productCollection=$this->getLoadedProductCollection(); Mage::helper('cache')->setDataInCache($key,$_productCollection,'front_end_collection'); } That's my code, i'm loading the collection and saved in cache, the problem is that I added new products from the admin panel but they are not showing up in the listing. I have refreshed cache, reindex all the data and checke that the products were in stock. Also check the visibility because i understand that the collection gets just the visible products, am i correct? I'm using magento enterprise 1.9 I'm new in magento and i'm having troubles understanding how the Collections works, i hope somebody can help me. Thanks

  I've done a function but I do not understand why, a part of it does not work. Actualy I use the methode using className and Id.   Hi! I'm having quite a problem here, and I think it is because I don't understand very much how I should use the API provided by Java. I need to write an int and a byte[] into a byte[] I thought of using a DataOutputStream to solve the data writing with writeInt(int i) and write(byte[] b), and to be able to put that into a byte array, I should use ByteArrayOutputStream's method toByteArray(). I understand that this classes use the Wrapper pattern, so I had two options: DataOutputStream w = new DataOutputStream(new ByteArrayOutputStream()); or ByteArrayOutputStream w = new ByteArrayOutputStream(new DataOutputStream()); but in both cases, I "loose" a method. in the first case, I can't access the toByteArray method, and in the second, I can't access the writeInt method. How should I use this classes together?

• Should I use multiple threads in this situation? [Ruby]

  I'm opening multiple files and processing them, one line at a time. The files contain tokens separating the data, such that sometimes the processing of one file may have to wait for others to catch up to that same token. I was doing this initially with only one thread and an array indicating with true/false if the file should be read in the current iteration or if it should wait for some of the others to catch up. Would using threads make this simpler? More efficient? Does Ruby have a mechanism for this?

• Changing the way widgets are rendered/displayed in a form on the template

  I have a form with a few other embedded forms and some various widgets. The widgets are all saved in an array $form['elements'] and for some of them, I want to display labels and things, but for others I only want to display the basic rendering. foreach($form['elements'] as $elem) echo $elem->render(); this displays everything about the widget. The way it is right now, I couldn't for example call $elem['..'] because the different subforms appear in a random order and have different variable names. I assume I could still put some checks in the template, but it seems easier to fix this in the widget class, like override one of the render functions or something. How would I go about doing this or do you have any links that could help me understand how do do this? on a side note, one of my widgets is the sfWidgetFormChoice and I have no clue where it actually renders or how renderer_classes work

  I use SPs and this isn't an SP vs code-behind "Build your SQL command" question. I'm looking for a high-throughput method for a backend app that handles many small transactions. I use SQLDataReader for most of the returns since forward only works in most cases for me. I've seen it done many ways, and used most of them myself. Methods that define and accept the stored procedure parameters as parameters themselves and build using cmd.Parameters.Add (with or without specifying the DB value type and/or length) Assembling your SP params and their values into an array or hashtable, then passing to a more abstract method that parses the collection and then runs cmd.Parameters.Add Classes that represent tables, initializing the class upon need, setting the public properties that represent the table fields, and calling methods like Save, Load, etc I'm sure there are others I've seen but can't think of at the moment as well. I'm open to all suggestions.

  Hi, I have function which appends inputs inside a list item when a link is clicked. I then loop through these inputs using an each loop using the code below. It is working correctly as shown, however instead of using field.name I want to use the class of the input as the array key but when i try to do this the class is shown as undefined. Here is the code I am currently using: var values = {}; $.each($('li :input').serializeArray(), function(i, field) { values[field.name] = field.value; }); Here is the code I have inside the list item once I have appended the hidden inputs using jQuery append: <li><input type="hidden" name="group" class="group" value="2"/><input type="hidden" name="condition" class="condition" value="isany"/><input type="hidden" name="value" class="value" value="1,2"/></li> I can get the name attribute fine but class is always undefined.   I'm using String.split to parse a command line string into an array of strings. The result is then used to call a function using the Function.apply API. If apply(null, ["17"]) is called with this function: static function test(foo:int):void { trace(foo, typeof(foo)); } it works as expected (output: 17 number). However, calling apply(null, ["false"]) or apply(null, ["0"]) with this function: static function test(foo:Boolean):void { trace(foo, typeof(foo)); } does not work (expected output: false Boolean; actual output: true Boolean). Is there a way to make it recognize "true" and "false" (or anything else) as Boolean values, just like it does with numerical strings? Ideally "true" and "false" should also remain valid string values.

  DateTime? testDate = (DateTime?)arrayOfObjects[dateObject]; Does that code look ok? I attempted to use the as operator but I got the 'non-nullable' error. What I'm trying to say is that the object I'm choosing from the array is either DateTime or a null DateTime but either can be assigned to testDate. Doesn't feel right doing it this way, I think I'm missing something obvious. EDIT: I suppose it's the same as the way I could've adapted the as in the following way: DateTime? testDate = arrayOfObjects[dateObject] as DateTime?; Is either line of code the best way of handling potential nulls?

For instance, if the user does: www.youtube ... or www.vimeo ... or http://www.youtube ... or HttP://WwW.viMeo I need to grab it (until he finds a space perhaps). and store it on a already created array. The need is to separate the vimeo links from the youtube ones and place each of those on the appropriate video object.   I very curious about making a handwriting recognition application in a web browser. Users draw a letter, ajax sends the data to the server, neural network finds the closest match, and returns results. So if you draw an a, the first result should be an a, then o, then e, something like that. I'm don't know much about neural networks. What kinda data would I need to pass to the NN. Could it be an array of the x/y coordinates where the user has drawn on a pad. Or what type of data is the neural network expecting or would produce the best results for handwriting?
