• Help to resolve 'Out of memory' exception when calling DrawImage

  Hi guys, About one percent of our users experience sudden crash while using our application. The logs show below exception, the only thing in common that I've seen so far is that, they all have XP SP3. • PHP Error handling in WordPress plugin

  I am a newbie to both PHP and Wordpress (but do ok in C#), and am struggling to understand the error handling in a custom plugin I am attempting to write. The basics of the plugin is to query an exsiting MSSQL database (note its not the standard MYSQL db...) and return the rows back to the screen. This was working well, but the hosting provider has taken my database offline, which led me to the error handling problem (which I thought was ok). The following code is failing to connect to the database (as expected), but puts an error onto the screen and stops the page processing. It does not even output the 'or die' error text. I need to be able to access each of these items (i.e. type, status, property size) separately rather than just calling the entire array (i.e. currentProperty.status). How do I do this? • How to find specific/local files via CMake

  Hello, I have a problem with a locally installed library. In my project there is the xmlrpc++0.7-library: myproject/ +-- xmlrpc++0.7/ +-- src/ I want that CMake fallbacks using the local xmlrpc++0.7 directory if not found otherwise. Two problems, the first one, find_path() or find_library() does not work with local dir. I used a workaround testing if variables processed by find_xxx() are empty or not. If empty I set them manually. The cmake generates the Makefile without errors now. But if I want to compile the project via make, the c++ compiler returns "error: XmlRpc.h: file not found". The file XmlRpc.h lies in myproject/xmlrpc++0.7/src and if I compile all them manually it works fine. Here is my CMakeLists.txt. • How do I fix this installation problem with multicore Solr on Ubuntu 10.04?

  Following instructions from the two sites below, I've installed Tomcat 6 and Solr 1.4. http://gist.github.com/204638 https://wiki.fourkitchens.com/display/TECH/Solr+1.4+on+Ubuntu+9.10+and+CentOS+5 I have successfully got it up and running on a server running 9.04 with multicore support, but on the 10.04 I can't seem to get it to work. • Accessing Virtual Host from outside LAN

  I'm setting up a web development platform that makes things as easy as possible to write and test all code on my local machine, and sync this with my web server. I setup several virtual hosts so that I can access my projects by typing in "project" instead of "localhost/project" as the URL. I also want to set this up so that I can access my projects from any network. I signed up for a DYNDNS URL that points to my computer's IP address. This worked great from anywhere before I setup the virtual hosts. Now when I try to access my projects by typing in my DYNDNS URL, I get the 403 Forbidden Error message, "You don't have permission to access / on this server." To setup my virtual hosts, I edited two files - hosts in the system32/drivers/etc folder, and httpd-vhosts.conf in the Apache folder of my WAMP installation. In the hosts file, I simply added the server name to associate with 127.0.0.1. I added the following to the http-vhosts.conf file: <VirtualHost *:80> ServerAdmin webmaster@localhost DocumentRoot "c:/wamp/www/ladybug" ServerName ladybug ErrorLog "logs/your_own-error.log" CustomLog "logs/your_own-access.log" common </VirtualHost> <VirtualHost *:80> ServerAdmin webmaster@localhost DocumentRoot "c:/wamp/www" ServerName localhost ErrorLog "logs/localhost-error.log" CustomLog "logs/localhost-access.log" common </VirtualHost> Any idea why I can't access my projects from typing in my DYNDNS URL? Also, is it possible to setup virtual hosts so that when I type in http://projects from a random computer outside of my network, I access url.dyndns.info/projects (a.k.a. my WAMP projects on my home computer)? • Trying to return data asynchronously using jQuery AND jSon in MVC 2.0

  Hi, I am trying to use Jquerys getJSON method to return data server side to my browser, what happens is the url the getJSON method points to does get reached but upon the postback the result does not get returned to the browser for some odd reason. • rails application on production not working

  i have a rails application on production which is running using mongrel, I can successfully start the mogrel for the application but when i try to access the application on the URL it is not responding... it is just hanging. This is the error I'm testing with: Dim i As Integer = 5 i = i / 0 The problem is SL is banging on with this message: System.ServiceModel.CommunicationException was unhandled by user code Message=There was an error while trying to serialize parameter :bug. The InnerException message was 'Type 'System.OverflowException' with data contract name 'OverflowException:http://schemas.datacontract.org/2004/07/System' is not expected. Add any types not known statically to the list of known types - for example, by using the KnownTypeAttribute attribute or by adding them to the list of known types passed to DataContractSerializer.'.   I'm writing a Python script to process emails returned from Procmail. • Storing User Information in Session with aspNetMembershipProvider

  Hi Everyone, i m developing an application in .NET mvc2. i m using aspnetMembershipProvider for User registration and related activities. i need some custom information about user that i stored in a separate table (sysUser for example) and linked it to aspnetUser table through foreign key. after Login i need to fetch user's credentials from sysUser table and push it to the session. For this Account controller's Logon method seemed best to me and i pasted following code in my Logon ActionResult if (!ValidateLogOn(userName, password)) { return View(); } FormsAuth.SignIn(userName, rememberMe); ApplicationRepository _ApplicationRepository = new ApplicationRepository(); MembershipUser aspUser = Membership.GetUser(userName); SessionUser CurrentUser = _ApplicationRepository.GetUserCredentials(aspUser.ProviderUserKey.ToString()); //Session["CurrentUser"] = CurrentUser; if (!String.IsNullOrEmpty(returnUrl)) { return Redirect(returnUrl); } else { return RedirectToAction("Index", "Home"); } The code is working perfectly for me and put my desired information in the session but the thing is that if a user selects Remember me and on his next visit he won't have to Log in and i would not find my desired information in the Session. • how to use git rebase to clean up a convoluted history

  After working for several weeks with a half dozen different branches and merges, on both my laptop and work and my desktop at home, my history has gotten a bit convoluted. For example, I just did a fetch, then merged master with origin/master. Now, when I do git show-branches, the output looks like this: ! [login] Changed domain name. ! [master] Merge remote branch 'origin/master' ! [migrate-1.9] Migrating to 1.9.1 on Heroku ! [rebase-master] Merge remote branch 'origin/master' ---- - - [master] Merge remote branch 'origin/master' + + [master^2] A bit of re-arranging and cleanup. - - [master^2^] Merge branch 'rpx-login' + + [master^2^^2] Commented out some debug logging. + + [master^2^^2^] Monkey-patched Rack::Request#ip + + [master^2^^2~2] dump each request to log .... I would like to clean this up with a git rebase. I created a new branch, rebase-master, for this purpose, and on this branch tried git rebase <common-ancestor>. However, I have to resolve many conflicts, and the end result on branch rebase-master no longer matches the corresponding version on master, which has already been tested and works! I thought I saw a solution to this somewhere but can't find it anymore. Does anyone know how to do this? Or will these convoluted ref names go away when I start deleting un-needed branches that I have already merged with? I am the sole developer on this project, so there is no one else who will be affected.

• Ubuntu: pip not working with python3.4

  Trying to get pip working on my Ubuntu pc. pip seems to be working for python2.7, but not for others. "<a href='contact.html' style='text-decoration:none; color:#ff0099;'> Return Home</a>"; ?> Its working perfectly fine but i would like there to be some text sent with this email that says "This is from your website" or something similar to tell the recipient that it isnt spam (my client isn't tech friendly and sees everything plain text as spam). I'm very new to PHP with nearly 0 knowledge and have no idea how to add something like that. I did have a go at making a new variable with the string inside and then include that in the: mail($recipient, $subject, $formcontent, $mailheader) or die("Error!"); line but with no success. • How to verify the SSL connection when calling a URI?

  Hello, I am developing a web application that is authenticated using CAS (A single-sign-on solution: http://www.ja-sig.org/wiki/display/CAS/Home). For security reasons, I need two things to work: The communication between CAS and my application needs to be secure My application needs to accept the certification coming from CAS, so that I can guarantee that the CAS responding is the real CAS server This is what I got so far: uri = URI.parse("https://www.google.com/accounts") https = Net::HTTP.new(uri.host, uri.port) https.use_ssl = (uri.scheme == 'https') https.verify_mode = (OpenSSL::SSL::VERIFY_PEER) raw_res = https.start do |conn| conn.get("#{uri.path}?#{uri.query}") end This works just great in Mac OS X. When I try to reach an insecure URI, it raises an exception, and when I try to reach a secure URI, it allows me normally, just like expected. The problem starts when I deploy my application on my Linux server. I tried in both Ubuntu and Red Hat. Independent of what URI I try to reach, it always raises this exception: OpenSSL::SSL::SSLError: SSL_connect returned=1 errno=0 state=SSLv3 read server certificate B: certificate verify failed from /usr/local/lib/ruby/1.8/net/http.rb:586:in `connect' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/1.8/net/http.rb:586:in `connect' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/1.8/net/http.rb:553:in `do_start' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/1.8/net/http.rb:542:in `start' from (irb):7 I think this have something to do with my installed OpenSSL package, but I can't be sure. This are my installed OpenSSL packages: openssl.x86_64 0.9.8e-12.el5 installed openssl-devel.x86_64 0.9.8e-12.el5 installed I tried using HTTParty as well, but it just ignores the SSL certificate. I hope someone can help me, or tell me about a gem that works the way I need. Thanks.

• ASP.NET MVC 2 VB, Not recognising my import.

  I had a problem with a project I converted from C# to VB, in that the VB version it cannot seem to find an object even though I declared it with an Import statement at the top. I created a new, default MVC 2 VB project, and the same problem occurs there. I create a new MVC 2 application, I then add a reference to System.Data.Services.Client, and in my Index.aspx, in the Content area, I type <% Dim x As DataServiceQueryContinuation %> which is what I want to use. It gives me a blue squiggly line and says Type 'DataServiceQueryContinuation' is not defined. At the top of the page, I add this: <%@ Import Namespace="System.Data.Services.Client" %> The error persists. My original C# version has no such error. I also get this warning: Warning 2 Namespace or type specified in the Imports 'System.Data.Services.Client' doesn't contain any public member or cannot be found. Make sure the namespace or the type is defined and contains at least one public member. Make sure the imported element name doesn't use any aliases. e:\ASPNETDEBUG\MvcApplication1\MvcApplication1\Views\Home\Index.aspx 10 9 MvcApplication1 Examining the DLL using the tool provided shows that it does have a public member. Also when typing the above, System.Data. provides intellisense but there is no 'Services'. Any ideas?

When PartCreationPolicy is missing, I get following exception: A single instance of controller 'MvcApplication4.Areas.Articles.Controllers.HomeController' cannot be used to handle multiple requests. If a custom controller factory is in use, make sure that it creates a new instance of the controller for each request.

• Python Post Upload JPEG to Server?

  It seems like this answer has been provided a bunch of times but in all of it, I'm still getting errors from the server and I'm sure it has to do with my code. I've tried HTTP, and HTTPConnection from httplib and both create quite different terminal outputs in terms of formatting/encoding so I'm not sure where the problem lies. Does anything stand out here? Or is there just a better way? Or perhaps there's other methodologies for doing this more efficiently. I've not tried poster yet because I want to make sure I'm formatting the POST correctly first. I figure I can upgrade to poster after it's working yes?

  Hi, In the following piece of code (from a book) data is an NSDictionary *data; defined in the header (no property). In the viewDidLoad of the controller the following occurs: - (void)viewDidLoad { [super viewDidLoad]; NSArray *keys = [NSArray arrayWithObjects:@"home", @"work", nil]; NSArray *homeDVDs = [NSArray arrayWithObjects:@"Thomas the Builder", nil]; NSArray *workDVDs = [NSArray arrayWithObjects:@"Intro to Blender", nil]; NSArray *values = [NSArray arrayWithObjects:homeDVDs, workDVDs, nil]; data = [[NSDictionary alloc] initWithObjects:values forKeys:keys]; } Since I am really new to objective-c can someone explain to me why I do not have to retain the variables keys,homeDVDs,workDVDs and values prior exiting the function? I would expect prior the data allocation something like: [keys retain]; [homeDVDs retain]; [workDVDs retain]; [values retain]; or not? Does InitWithObjects copies (recursively) all objects into a new table? Assuming we did not have the last line (data allocation) should we release all the NSArrays prior exiting the function (or we could safely assumed that all NSArrays will be autoreleased since there is no alloc for each one?)
