  • Set dropDownList to contain one value only, mvc3

    I have this in my controller: ViewBag.PriceListId = new SelectList(m_db.PriceLists, "Id", "Name", us.PriceListId); It contains two values now, but I want to enable the user to choose only the second value, and just if he does something else - allow him choose one of the both values. How do I omit the first value, and add and set him to default after that? Shoud I do it in my controller or use jquery? Thank in advance.

    Hi stackoverflow, i can create an album using facebook graph api by posting data to http://graph.facebook.com/PROFILE_ID/albums it returns an id, which is not the album id. I confirmed it in two ways by going to that album, aid is different than what id i received and by posting http://graph.facebook.com/{ALBUM_ID_I_RECIEVED/photos, but the photo is never published to newly created album instead it is published to a default application album. I need to know the real album id so that i can upload images to newly created album. Please Help

    In my project I am calling a web-service which giving response back as thousands of records from SQL server but as default size of SOAP ENVELOPE is 64KB I am getting only first 15 records in my logcat...Will please somebody tell me to increase my SOAP ENVELOPE size to 10 MB so that I can fetch all the results....I have searched over internet but didn't get any answer regarding this, my code is as below...   • hg convert from cvs broke branches

    I converted an old cvs repository into mercurial via "hg convert". Everything seemed to be okay (at least with the default branch) but all feature branches are missing files which haven't been changed in the branch. Is there any way to fix this up? I'm using version 1.5, convert has been done via "hg convert cvs/checkout newrepo".

    If I have a constructor with say 2 required parameters and 4 optional parameters, how can I avoid writing 16 constructors or even the 10 or so constructors I'd have to write if I used default parameters (which I don't like because it's poor self-documentation)? Are there any idioms or methods using templates I can use to make it less tedious? (And easier to maintain?)

The query to get data is something like this SELECT COUNT(ROWID) FROM <SCHEMANAME>.<TABLENAME>;@<DATABASENAME> INTO :localvariable I want to somehow set the schemaname and database name as default so that i do not need to use them in the SELECTs later.   • Is there an encoding method that is mutual to flash and php?

    I'm base64 encoding a JPG in AS3 and passing it to PHP where it would be decoded. It appears that AS3's encodeToBase64String() function and and PHP's base64_decode() function do not use the same algorithm. Is there a library or API for either language that would allow it to interface with the other? Alternatively, does anyone even know what PHP's default base64 map is? My Google searching is not yielding results.

I want Class B to be able to access all the protected functions defined in Class A but class C can have access on some of the functions only not all the functions and class C is inheriting class B.     I've implemented a ReloadableResourceBundleMessageSource in my Spring MVC application which I use to display prettier error messages for binding exceptions. The problem I'm having is that, due to a company policy, these errors must be displayed in the following format: [inputData] is not a valid [fieldName]. The field name is accessible by default in my message properties file (as the {0} argument), but I can't figure out a way to display the invalid user input. Is this possible?

Obvious pros and cons: SQL Database Pros Adhoc query support SQL Management Tools Schema changes (adding more columns and setting default values) Memory-Mapped Pros Lighter overhead?
