• Determine if an Index has been used as a hint

  In SQL Server, there is the option to use query hints. eg SELECT c.ContactID FROM Person.Contact c WITH (INDEX(AK_Contact_rowguid)) I am in the process of getting rid of unused indexes and was wondering how I could go about determining if an index was used as a query hint. When getting description of item (it will map to opposite icon) ,if user click this description, a hint will display near the map icon at google. I still can't how to start.I can get lat and lng of location. PS:some of markers will map to same point.

  I'm trying to generate a pdf file from a tex file from R, but I'm getting the following error: > tools::texi2dvi("teste.tex",) Error in tools::texi2dvi("teste.tex", ) : Running 'texi2dvi' on 'teste.tex' failed. Messages: sed: can't read ./teste.tex: Permission denied mkdir: cannot create directory `teste.t2d': Permission denied /usr/bin/texi2dvi: cannot create directory: teste.t2d The user owns the file teste.tex and also the folder it's located. I'm running it into Ubuntu 12.04 and R 2.15.0 Does anyone knows what's going on?

• json-framework error in iPhone static library

  I have an iPhone app that uses the json-framework. I moved some of the code, including the json-framework source, from the main project to a static library. When I did this, the json-framework stopped getting compiled into the binary (double checked with class dump). This causes a nasty error: *** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: '*** -[NSCFString JSONValue]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x43897f0' Everything else in the static library continues to function properly.

  Hi, I have two, third party assemblies: Foo.dll and ReferencesFoo.dll As noted, ReferencesFoo.dll is an assembly that has a reference to Foo.dll For my application, I need to resign these assemblies. I use ildasm/ilasm in combination along with a signing key to resign them, however, ReferencesFoo.dll still contains (in it's manifest?) the reference to the Foo.dll old public key and public key token. So, how do I sign both dll's with my key, and update the references in ReferencesFoo.dll without getting the source code and recompiling?

  If I have a date, how do I calculate the week number for that date within that year? For example, in 2008, January 1st to January 6th are in week 1 and January 7th to the 13th are in week 2, so if my date was January 10th 2008, my week number would be 2.   I'm trying to write a new entry to a rails database.yml and for some reason I'm getting quotes around this entry db_yml = {'new_env' = {'database' = 'database_name', '<<' = '*defaults' }} File.open("#{RAILS_ROOT}/config/database.yml", "a") {|f| YAML.dump(db_yml, f)} returns --- new_env: database: database_name "<<": "*defaults" I don't know why the "---" and the quotes around the defaults are returned, any thoughts on how to prevent? thanks!
