• Getting a KeyError in DB backend of django-digest

  I have just started to integrate django_digest into my app. As a start I have added the @httpdigest decorator to one of my views. If I try to connect to it I get a KeyError exception thrown in django_digest/backend/db.py . Depending on which db I configure I get a different KeyError in a different location. I am using Django 1.2.1, with MySql (also tested with sqlite). I am using the default values for all the settings options. As far as I can see I have followed all instructions but am struggling all day with this. I am using the repository versions of django-digest and python-digest. Any steer would be greatly appreciated. • PHP edit unique row in table

  I currently have a PHP form that uses AJAX to connect to MySQL and display records matching a user's selection (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2593317/ajax-display-mysql-data-with-value-from-multiple-select-boxes) As well as displaying the data, I also place an 'Edit' button next to each result which displays a form where the data can be edited. My problem is editing unique records since currently I only use the selected values for 'name' and 'age' to find the record. If two (or more) records share the same name and age, I am only able to edit the first result.

• Delphi7 - How can i copy a file that is being written to

  I have an application that logs information to a daily text file every second on a master PC. A Slave PC on the network using the same application would like to copy this text file to its local drive. I can see there is going to be file access issues. These files should be no larger than 30-40MB each. the network will be 100MB ethernet. I can see there is potential for the copying process to take longer than 1 second meaning the logging PC will need to open the file for writing while it is being read. What is the best method for the file writing(logging) and file copying procedures? I know there is the standard Windows CopyFile() procedure, however this has given me file access problems. There is also TFileStream using the fmShareDenyNone flag, but this also very occasionally gives me an access problem too (like 1 per week). What is this the best way of accomplishing this task? Unfortunately this has the effect of blocking readers even though only another reader is accessing it. In case this matters: I am using Delphi 2007 with the builtin memory manager. I am aware that the memory manager probably enforces some lock anyway when creating a new class but I want to ignore that for the moment. Edit: It may not have been clear from the above: For the full lifetime of the TDataManager object there is only one thread that writes to the data, not several that might compete for write access. So this is a special case of MREW.

  1) Is there any way to select a random record from Freebase? If I do a limit of 1, it consistently returns the same record. I could grab the larger data set and select a random rec from that but that seems like overkill. • No Games Installed with Windows 7 Professional

  Ordered a PC from HP with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit preinstalled, of course. No Win7 disc was included with computer. There are no games installed. I have tried to "activate" them through the Control Panel procedure, but each time I do it there is an error message telling me that not all components installed. And my Games folder is empty. Is there a solution? Synetech asked what I meant by "activate through Control Panel." I'm referring to the "Turn windows features on" procedure that's supposed to work for everybody. I'm sure it does for most, but it didn't for me.
