    lets say I have an embedded Excel Spreadsheet on a Microsoft Access form. I call the object frame ExcelFrame and I add a text box on the form called txtA1 and I add a button on the form called cmdInsert I want to type "Hello World" into the text box, click the button and have it appear in the A1 cell on that spreadsheet. What I found out so far is that the wrong instance of obj is triggered from the click event, even though o1 and o2 maintain correct references to their corresponding DOM object.   • drawTextInRect on UITextField not called

    I'm trying to implement the answer to this SO question. The problem is: -[drawTextInRect] is apparently not called, and setting the shadow in -[drawRect] doesn't make the UITextField's text shadowed. Another weird thing is that even if my subclass implementations of -[drawTextInRect] and -[drawRect] are completely empty (not even a call to super), the textfield's text is drawn.

I copied the files over to my web server, keeping the directory structure intact, and copied the content code to my already-existing index.html, but it does not work.     What I am trying to accomplish: Create a dynamic bubble that expands on height and width depending on the text in the bubble. What I researched so far: In an so article they described the measurestring to figure out the exact width or height so dynamic changes in the .cs to the width and height can be accomplished. Is there something like this in Silverlight? Is my only option to utilize the myTxt.Text.length and then change the myGrid.height and myGrid.width to leave wasted space to accommodate all cases?

  • Label wrapped around radio/checkbox compatibility?

    I noticed that if you wrap a radio button or checkbox in a label, the whole thing becomes clickable, even without a for/id pair (in fact, it seems to ignore this because I screwed it up!) Example: <label><input type="checkbox"> some text</label> Then "some text" becomes clickable to check the box. I tested it in FF, Chrome and Opera, and IE8, does anyone know if it works in older browsers, like IE6?

    I need to retrieve my data from a ListView control set up in Details mode with 5 columns. I tried using this code: MessageBox.Show(ManageList.SelectedItems(0).Text) And it works, but only for the first selected item (item 0). If I try this: MessageBox.Show(ManageList.SelectedItems(2).Text) I get this error: InvalidArgument=Value of '2' is not valid for 'index'. Parameter name: index I have no clue how I can fix this, any help? Edit: Sorry, should have said, I'm using Windows.Forms :)

    I don't know if the title explain this situation well. Below is a code i wrote to create div elements when the button is pressed. Then By clicking on any of the created divs, we can change the div background by choosing a color from the drop down box. However if i click on another div and tried to change the color by selecting another color from the drop down, the previously clicked divs also gets affected by the new color. Why is this happening. I only want the selected div to change color, without affecting the previously clicked divs. I read allot of threads on this site, some of which talks about unbinding clicks, but I'm unable to solve the problem.   • What does MailMessage.IsBodyHtml do?

    I'm testing sending out some emails via C#, but I can't tell what effect setting IsBodyHtml to true has. Regardless of the value, whatever I send in my Body shows up with a content type of "text/plain", and my HTML shows up tags and all in my email client (gmail). What is that flag actually supposed to do? NOTE: I can send an HTML email just fine by creating an AlternateView with a content type of "text/html", I just want to understand how setting the body is supposed to work.

Well trying to use the jquery UI one, I can't get the input buttons to show up as stars. All requests which I perform after that code also return HTML source of login page so I can assume that it does not login correctly. Can anybody help me to solve that problem or give working example? Main thing which I want to achieve is scanning for new images in Nextgen Gallery plugin for Wordpress. Is there XML-RPC way of doing that? Thanks in advance.
