• InvalidAuthenticityToken for JQuery despite setting authenticity token

  I'm getting an InvalidAuthenticityToken despite adding in corresponding authenticity tokens in the jquery response. Is there an error in the code, or is there another, root problem? I appreciate any comments. Thanks! Built-in XmlSiteMapProvider calls HttpContext.User.IsInRole() which uses System.Security.Principal.GenericPrincipal in case of forms authentication. Where does the current user gets its roles? Which provider loads this kind of information? I want to overload it and use custom logic.

• Trying to read FormsAuthentication tickets to read in other areas of site

  Hi, NOTE: I have included 3 links in here to my localhost areas but could not submit the post so I seperetaed them with a space character so it would post on stackoverflow. I currently have 2 ASP.NET MVC apps in my solution. First I run the first one by setting it to be startup project. It goes to the login page, from there once the data has been entered I execute the following code: var authTicket = new FormsAuthenticationTicket(1, login.LoginDataContract.MSISDN, DateTime.Now, DateTime.Now.AddMinutes(Convert.ToDouble("30")), true, ""); string cookieContents = FormsAuthentication.Encrypt(authTicket); var cookie = new HttpCookie(FormsAuthentication.FormsCookieName, cookieContents) { Expires = authTicket.Expiration, //Path = FormsAuthentication.FormsCookiePath //Path = "http://localhost" Domain = "" }; if (System.Web.HttpContext.Current != null) { System.Web.HttpContext.Current.Response.Cookies.Add(cookie); } As you can see I have set the Domain = "", so theoretically speaking it should work on any thing under my http: //localhost. Then I have set the persist security of the cookie to true so I can access it from any where under localhost. The cookie writes fine and I get logged in and all godd for now. BTW the url for this login page is: http //localhost/MyAccount/Login Now then I stop the solution and set the other MVC apps to be the startup. Then I run it. But once it crashes in Firefox I have a look in the Page Info and then security and Cookies and its there and its the same cookie. What am I doing wrong?

  Dear experts, Pardon me for giving you a confusing title on this problem. I'm really confused and i don't know how to put it in other words. So here is what I what to accomplish. I am making a Custom Javascript Object to store data. I have automated this process and inserted each instance of the object into an array. I am making a loop statement to invoke the unique property value of each instance of the object. When I want to use an expression, the property name of the object would be variable since i don't know which one it is. Basically I need to incorporate a string value into the prototype expression. e.g document.getElementById('text').style."fontsize"=value; since I cannot do this directly, i thought possibly I could use the eval function: eval('document.getElementById("text").style.' + buttons[i].cssvalue + '="39px";'); but this still doesn't work. Can this be fixed or ss there an alternative way to accomplish this? If there are some unclear stuff, please point out and I will try to elaborate. Thanks in advance.

  I wrote code in android for connecting to server with ssl, I use BKS algorithm, I can create socket but when I send data to switch, I get this error javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: Trust anchor for certification path not found. It is wonderful for me, I can connect to another server in local network with another BKS file and I can get response from that server, but with correct certificate in outside network, I cannot connect to another server, is it possible with network problem? • Is Berkeley DB XML a viable database backend?

  Apparently, BDB-XML has been around since at least 2003 but I only recently stumbled upon it on Oracle's website: Berkeley DB XML. Here's the blurb: Oracle Berkeley DB XML is an open source, embeddable XML database with XQuery-based access to documents stored in containers and indexed based on their content. Oracle Berkeley DB XML is built on top of Oracle Berkeley DB and inherits its rich features and attributes. Like Oracle Berkeley DB, it runs in process with the application with no need for human administration. Oracle Berkeley DB XML adds a document parser, XML indexer and XQuery engine on top of Oracle Berkeley DB to enable the fastest, most efficient retrieval of data. To me it seems that the underlying ideas are technically sound and probably more mature than the newer document-based DBs like CouchDB or MongoDB. It has support for C, C++, Ruby and Perl, as far as I can determine. It even has HA-capabilities like automatic replication using a master/slave model with automatic election. However, I can't seem to find any projects that use it. Is there something fundamentally wrong with it? Is the license too onerous? Is it too complicated? Why is it not being used?

• Is there a way to create a SyndicationFeed from a String?

  Hi, I'm trying to recreate a SyndicationFeed object (System.ServiceModel.Syndication) from XML data that has been stored locally. If I were working with XMLDocument, this would be easy.I'd call LoadXml(string). The SyndicationFeed will only load from an XMLReader. The XMLReader will only take a Stream or another XMLReader or a TextReader. Since XMLDocument will load a string, I've tried to do this as follows (in the form of a Extension Method): public static SyndicationFeed ToSyndicationFeed(this XmlDocument document) { Stream thestream = Stream.Null; XmlWriter thewriter = XmlWriter.Create(thestream); document.WriteTo(thewriter); thewriter.Flush(); XmlReader thereader = XmlReader.Create(thestream); SyndicationFeed thefeed = SyndicationFeed.Load(thereader); return thefeed; } I can't get this to work.   Hi all, We are calling a .Net webservice from our oracle database using the sys.utl_http package and we have also tested with the sys.utl_dbws package, this works fine when there is no security on the .Net webservice. However, we would like to use sys.utl_http or sys.utl_dbws to call a .Net webservice with Kerberos- or NTLM authentication (we're currently struggling with this). • Switching between iScroll and standard WebView Scrolling functionality

  I'm using iScroll 4 for my rather heavy iPhone web/Phonegap app and trying to find a way to switch between iScrolls scrolling functionality and standard "native" webview scrolling, basically on click. Why I want this is described below. My app has several different subpages all in one file. Some subpages have input fields, some don't. As we all know, iScroll + input fields = you're out of luck. I've wrapped iScrolls wrapper div (and all its functionality) around the one sub page where scrolling is crucial, and where there are no input fields. The other sections, I've simply placed outside this div, which gives these no scrolling functionality at all. I've of course tried wrapping all inside the wrapper and enabling/disabling scroll (shown below) but that didn't work me at all: myScroll.disable() myScroll.enable() By placing some sub pages outside the main scrolling area / iscroll div, I've disabled both iScrolls and the standard webview scrolling (the latter - which i guess iScroll does) which leaves me with only basic basic scrolling, hence basically no scrolling at all. One can move around vertically, but once you let go of the screen with, the "scrolling" stops. Quite naturally but alas so nasty. Therefore, I'm searching for a way to enable standard webview scrolling on the sub pages placed outside of iScroll's wrapper div. So, is there a way n javascript to do this, switching between iScroll scrolling functionality and standard "native" webview scrolling? I would rather not rebuild the entire DOM framework so a solution like the one described above would be preferable.

When I use svcutil to generate the proxy code on the client side the generated configuration contains two endpoints which causes the client to fail. If I edit the web.config file and remove the second endpoint (with the custom binding) all works as expected.   Hello, I currently develop an application in C# with framework .NET 3.5 SP1. In my app, I have satellite assemblies which are not in the same folder as the exe, and that causes me some trouble with FullTrust, as explained here. In order to solve that problem, I wish to use .NET 4.0 whose Code Access Security Policy should allow my satellite assemblies to be FullyTrusted. So my question is: is just installing the framework enough, or do I need to rebuild the solution with VS2010? Thanks

  Just a sidenote: I'm not sure whether I should post this to serverfault as well, because some MOSS admin may have some info for me as well? A bit of explanation first (without Asp.net MVC) Is it possible to integrate the two? Is it possible to write an application that would share at least credential information with MOSS? I have to write a MOSS application that has to do with these technologies: MOSS 2010 Personal client certificates authentication (most probably on USB keys) Active Directory Federation Services Separate SQL DB that would serve application specific data (separate as not being part of MOSS DB) How should it work? Users should authenticate using personal certificates into MOSS 2010 There would be a certain part of MOSS that would be related to my custom application This application should only authorize certain users via AD FS - I guess these users should have a certain security claim attached to them This application should manage users (that have access to this app) with additional (app specific) security claims related to this application (as additional application level authorization rights for individual application parts) This application should use custom SQL 2008 DB heavily with its own data This application should have the possibility to integrate with external systems as well (Exchange for instance to inject calendar entries, ERP systems etc) This application should be able to export its data (from its DB) to files. I don't know if it's possible, but it would be nice if the app could add these files to MOSS and attach authorization info to them so only users with sufficient rights would be able to view/open these files. Why Asp.net MVC then? I'm very well versed in Asp.net MVC (also with the latest version) and I haven't done anything on Sharepoint since version 2003 (which doesn't do me no good or prepare me for the latest version in any way shape or form). This project will most probably be a death march project so I would rather write my application as a UI rich Asp.net MVC application and somehow integrate it into MOSS. But not only via a link, because I would like to at least share credentials, so users wouldn't need to re-login when accessing my app. Using Asp.net MVC I would at least have the possibility to finish on time or be less death marching. Is this at all possible? Questions Is it possible to integrate Asp.net MVC into MOSS as described above? If integration is not possible, would it be possible to create a completely MOSS based application that would work as described? Which parts of MOSS 2010 should I use to accomplish what I need?
