  • Uploading file from file object with PyCurl

    I'm attempting to upload a file like this: import pycurl c = pycurl.Curl() values = [ ("name", "tom"), ("image", (pycurl.FORM_FILE, "tom.png")) ] c.setopt(c.URL, "http://upload.com/submit") c.setopt(c.HTTPPOST, values) c.perform() c.close() This works fine. However, this only works if the file is local. If I was to fetch the image such that: import urllib2 resp = urllib2.urlopen("http://upload.com/people/tom.png") How would I pass resp.fp as a file object instead of writing it to a file and passing the filename? Is this possible?

    Hi. We are porting a simple Java application between Tandem NonStop systems, from G-Series to H-Series. Java version is 1.5.0_02. When performing basic I/O tasks like getting output stream from or opening a client socket, we receive exceptions like java.io.IOException: Value out of range or java.net.SocketException: Value out of range ("value out of range" is Tandem native jargon for, well, quite everything I suppose).     hi , i'm trying to parse some html that is not on my server $dom = new DOMDocument(); $dom->loadHTMLfile("http://www.some-site.org/page.aspx"); echo $dom->getElementById('his_id')->item(0); but php returns an error something like ID his_id already defined in http://www.some-site.org/page.aspx, line: 33. I think that is because DOMDocument is dealing with invalid html. So, how can i parse it even though is invalid?

    I'm having trouble finding a regular expression that matches the following String. Korben;http://feeds.feedburner.com/KorbensBlog-UpgradeYourMind?format=xml;1 One problem is escaping the question mark. Java's pattern matcher doesn't seem to accept \? as a valid escape sequence but it also fails to work with the tester at myregexp.com. I was able to allow setting the Label text by DependencyProperty. Now I am creating a user control that has a ComboBox. I need to allow adding items to this ComboBox from outside the control. To achieve this, I tried exposing a DependencyProperty of type ItemsCollection and it will allows access to the ComboBox's Items property (the DP in my control sample is named 'CbItems'). But I get errors because Items property of Combobox is ReadOnly.
