  • C# manipulating video

    i want to take a folder of pictures, and turn it into a slideshow video with music in the background. i have no idea how to do this, or where to get help, cos this isnt the kind of thing you can search in google. idk if there are api's for it, or if it can even be done in C#. maybe ill have to move the project to C++ or something, but first i need to know where the hell to start. thanks.

    Hi everybody, I am building a WCF service as http://www.codeproject.com/KB/WCF/9StepsWCF.aspx#Beginner%20WCF%20FAQ%E2%80%99s and facing a trouble with X.509 certificate: when I debug, evething is OK. But when I pubish it to IIS (5.1, windowsXP SP3) I receive the error: **Cannot find the X.509 certificate using the following search criteria: StoreName 'My', StoreLocation 'CurrentUser', FindType 'FindBySubjectName', FindValue 'WCFServer'.** Thanks for any idea.

    I want to use a variable in a regex, like this: variables = ['variableA','variableB'] for i in range(len(variables)): regex = r"'('+variables[i]+')[:|=|\(](-?\d+(?:\.\d+)?)(?:\))?'" pattern_variable = re.compile(regex) match = re.search(pattern_variable, line) The problem is that python adds an extra backslash character for each backslash character in my regex string (ipython), and makes my regex invalid: In [76]: regex Out[76]: "'('+variables[i]+')[:|=|\\(](-?\\d+(?:\\.\\d+)?)(?:\\))?'" Any tips on how I can avoid this?

Is a "query string" called something else outside the .NET realm? Why isn't location.search broken into a key/value collection already?     I would like to have a central weld container that holds all my services and so on. This container would however be wrapped by a second container which contains local settings. THe goal is if a depdendency cannot be found in the outter container then i would like to then search the inner container. How can i achieve this ? I would prefer to do things in a standlike manner, without reverting to use of non standard WELD extensions.

  • Fetch excerpt from Wikipedia article?

    I've been up and down the Wikipedia API, but I can't figure out if there's a nice way to fetch the excerpt of an article (usually the first paragraph). It would be nice to get the HTML formatting of that paragraph, too. The only way I currently see of getting something that resembles a snippet is by performing a fulltext search (example), but that's not really what I want (too short). Is there any other way to fetch the first paragraph of a Wikipedia article than barbarically parsing HTML/WikiText?

    I'm working on getting django-haystack set up on my site, and am trying to have snippets in my search results roughly like so: Title of result one about Wikis ...this special thing about wiki values is that...I always use a wiki when I walk...snippet value three talks about wikis too...and here's another snippet value about wikis. I know there's a template tag for highlighting, but how do you generate the snippets themselves? I know Solr generates these, but I can't figure out how to get them from Haystack.

A quick google search for "Javascript variable length array" doesn't seem to yield anything, which would be surprising if it were possible to do this.     Dear Everyone I am interested in finding a path (not necessarily shortest) in a short amount of time. Dijsktra and AStar in networkx is taking too long. Why is there no DFS or BFS in networkx?
