  • MinGW/G++/g95 link problem - libf95 undefined reference to `MAIN_'

    Hi folks, Summing up, my problem consists on compiling g95 objects inside a C++ application. Actually, I'm constructing an interface for an old fortran program. For this task, I'm using the wxWidgets GUI library, and calling fortran subroutines when necessary. At the beginning, I was developing the entire project compiling my fortran files with gfortran (which comes with GCC) and linking them with my app by the g++ -o... command. Everything was working fine but some numbers values calculated by my fotran subroutines returned NAN values. Doing some research, I realized that compiling my fortran files with gfortran with the -m32 flag, generates this NAN values problem. Although compiling with -m64 flag, my code works properly well. The only trouble here is that my App should be 32bits and then I tryed another compiller. Here I found g95 Fortran compiler, which compiles my fortran code and gives the right output on a 32bits environment. I have already read the g95 Manual for integration with C++ and I'm actually calling these functions bellow for controlling the fortran environment: void g95_runtime_start(int argc, char *argv[]); void g95_runtime_stop(); I also included the g95 Fortran Runtime Library libf95.a and the libgcc.a into my linker command. Finishing, I don't have a main method implemented because this is managed by wxWidgets, and my fortran subroutines can not have a main function because this is a C++ program calling fortran functions. Can some of you guys help me with this problem? How can I fix this undefined reference to MAIN__ problem? Any idea will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance, George

  • setup.iss file is not generated

    I have a installshiled project which generates setup.exe file. I'd like to enable silent install by generating proper setup.iss file. I ran the following command: Setup.exe /r which lunched the installer, but it never created the setup.iss file. I looked in C:\Windows as the documentation suggested, as well as some other locations (local directory, program files etc.) Why isn't it created and how to fix? Thanks,

    Does anyone know how best to determine the specific underlying cause of this exception? Consider a WCF service that is supposed to use Powershell 2.0 remoting to execute MSBuild on remote machines. In both cases the scripting environments are being called in-process (via C# for Powershell and via Powershell for MSBuild), rather than 'shelling-out' - this was a specific design decision to avoid command-line hell as well as to enable passing actual objects into the Powershell script. No error, no success. Can someone advice how to proceed with downloading sources from VSS?

    hi GridView.DataKeynames stores the names of the primary key fields for the items displayed in a GridView control. 1) Even though I’ve set DataKeyNames, GridView still doesn’t store record’s primary key value(s) in DataKey object: protected void SqlDataSource1_Selected(object sender, SqlDataSourceStatusEventArgs e) { Label2.Text = GridView2.DataKeys[0].Value.ToString();//exception } Why not? 2) I assume when DataKeyNames is set, DataKey object stores both original and new values of a primary key ( assuming we issued an update command ) and when the update is finished, DataKey object discards the original value(s)? I am using command line to install/init database, dbinit -dba %username%,%pwd% -p 4k %dbLocation%, and start database server, dbsrv11 %dbLocation%, in a batch file. What I really want is install my database as Windows service and can be start/running automatically when machine get reboot. But I want to keep using batch for easy intall/uninstall/change it. Any Sybase expert here?

    I'm trying to put some specs around a new rails 3 project I am working on, and my first test doesn't seem to be able to find a model.     I just installed Visual Studio 2008, and am looking to use the Microsoft Intermediate Language Disassembler (ILDASM.exe) to look at some DLLs. Problem is, "ildasm" is not recognized on the command line, and I cannot find ildasm.exe anywhere in my VS 2008 install directory (e.g. c:\programs\Visual_Studio_9.0\). Any ideas? UPDATE: Found it! At C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.0A\bin This answer helped.

If not, how can I get working cabal-install build with the patch from #517 without installing Cabal-0.9, which is currently mandatory (due to one patch from December)?

    I'm attempting to convert a PDF to a JPEG using ImageMagick. The PDF: baby_aRCWTU.pdf The command: convert -density 260 -profile 'SWOP.icc' -profile 'sRGB.icm' 'baby_aRCWTU.pdf' 'baby_aRCWTU.jpg' The resulting JPEG: baby_aRCWTU.jpg As you can see, the text is rendered nicely, but the embedded image shows up as a green square.     Has the menu & toolbar customization functionality in VS2010 been reduced? I can't seem to be able to select an icon for an added command, nor set it to be icon-only. Previous versions of Visual Studio supported this functionality and even allowed the creation/editing of custom icons. Is this something that has suffered as a result of the move to the WPF-authored UI or am I missing something?

    I'm attempting to compile Arduino code in the Eclipse IDE using WinAVR and the AVR IDE plugin, and I'm running into one major stumbling block - when I try to compile the code I get the following error: /usr/bin/sh: g++: command not found make: *** [main.o] Error 127 Yeah, I bet not...I'm using Windows Vista. I have the paths to WinAVR's avr-g++ all set correctly in the preferences tab, does anyone know why it might be doing this?
