  • SCCM 2012 unable to update boot images with pxe enabled

    we are fighting an error in sccm 2012. When we attempt to distribute boot images (after selecting the pxe option) we receive an error that the pxe image cannot be expanded (distmgr log). Can you give us any direction on what to try or attempt in this scenario? We only have one dp in our environment at the moment, however we have found that by creating another dp on a different server we don’t have this problem. However we really need the primary site to be a dp. We have tried: Removing and reinstalling the dp Removing and reinstalling the WDS Reinstalled the OS ... ouch Reinstalled SQL We even attempted to manually mount these wims in the remote install folder, no luck... How do I force Clojure to call the test(int) method? user=> (.test (new foo.TestInterop) 10) "Test(Object)" I want to call methods like Component.add(Component comp, int index) in AWT, but instead keep calling add(Component comp, Object constraints), so the buttons on my toolbar always appear in the wrong order.

  • Where can I learn about JNDI strings?

    How do you know how to form a JNDI string? I know there must be a format and that the divisions must mean something but I haven't been able to find a good resource that explains them. For example: java:comp/env/wm/default. This is supposed to connect to a WorkManager in Websphere with the name of default. But what does the "java", "comp", "env" mean? I know what the wm/default mean because that's the JNDI name put in the WorkManager, but what does the rest mean? Thanks

  • Running out of label names in assembly

    Heyo, My class at college has us writing programs in assembly. I have never truly appreciated the ease of C until now. Now, when I program in assembly, I often have to make while/for/if loops and conditionals with labels eg: SKIP: ... COMP:ADD R1, R1, #0 ;Check for equality BRZ WHILEEND ... ;code inside the while loop JMP COMP ;Return to while loop WHILEEND: ... So, in this while loop (example) I have used 1 label for the subroutine and 2 more for the loop itself. I've run out of good label names for all the loops and branches I'm doing in assembly, what do you guys do to keep it varied and descriptive?

    To instantiate a Stateful Session Bean inside of a JSP/ servlet, I am using: InitialContext ic = new InitialContext(); SomeStateful state = (SomeStateful) ic.lookup("java:comp/env/SomeStatefulBean"); Trial and error had me prefix the name of my EJB with java:comp/env/, so the above works (on Glassfish 2.1). However I want to know what the proper way to obtain this prefix is. Is there a CLI tool or function somewhere in the admin panel that will allow we to examine/ alter this? Is this platform/ application server dependant? Is there a setting within my ear, EJB-jar or war which I can examine or alter for this? (Forgive the beginner question) Thanks!

  • Java session facade not being found via InitialContext lookups

    I have a project that is Java EE 5 running on Glassfish. The IDE is Netbeans 6.7.1. We periodically have a very annoying problem with new session facades not being located via InitialContext: javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: No object bound to name java:comp/env/GlobalConfigEntityFacadeLocal In my class (within the same EJB container), I can use the other session facades just fine. This sort of problem happens periodically, and a mixture of clean&build and deleting the build-impl.xml files from nbproject sometimes resolve this.     i have 2 textboxes that i am filling with StartDate, and Endate. i want to use the compareValidator to make sure that the StartDate is less that the EndDate. i used this: <asp:CompareValidator ID="Comp" ControlToValidate="txtStartDate" ControlToCompare="txtEndDate" Operator="LessThan" Type="Date" runat="server" Display="dynamic" Text="Failed!" /> the validator is always giving me Failed no matter what the dates are. if startdateendate or vise versa, Failed appears. i am using (MM/dd/yyyy) format in the textboxes.     I bought a brand new 3TB external drive for my birthday coming up, It's a WD My Book, it came as NTFS, and I'm trying to make it mount using a simple script on boot. (Not /etc/fstab, I ruined my comp. using that by accident and had to re-install, I'm instead having a script run in /etc/init.d) The thing is, it's under /dev/sdf and I want it to mount in /exhd, the script seems to run but it doesn't mount it, any help here?

  • Number of processes named 'doodle'

    I have ben using 12.10 for a few days. Just upgraded it from 12.04. This comp of mine, which has a 4GB RAM and 64 bit intel processor, just goes slow randomly. When I press Ctrl+Alt+F6 and login through a command prompt, I see a number of processes using - ps -A I get many instances of a process named 'doodle' running. So many that I have to 'pkill' them by hand. Any idea why this is happening?
