  • Security considerations for my first eStore.

    I have a website through which I am going to sell few products. It is hosted on a simple shared-hosting and does not have SSL. On the products page, each product has a Buy Now button created from my PayPal Merchant account. PayPal recommends to use it's Button Factory to create secure buttons and save it inside PayPal itself. I have followed the same advice and the code of any button is secure and does not disclose any information on either a product or it's price. When the user clicks on a Buy Now button, he/she is taken to PayPal site where a page is opened in SSL for the user to fill in the credit card and shipping details. After a successful transaction, the control is passed back to my site. I want to know whether there is still any chance when security could be compromised.

  • Where are the Windows 7 System Restore Points stored and how to preserve them?

    I am using Windows 7 Professional. My system crashed few days back and to recover that, I inserted the Windows 7 DVD. While running the System Restore from the DVD, it showed there are no restore points. It shocked me. I created few restore points, where they disappeared. Is there a way to preserve these restore points from accidental deletion? Is there any other FREE tool to take snapshot of the image on other disk?

  • Cheated!! Please help

    I was experiencing some hard disk problem with my HP laptop. It showed at bootup as system diagnostics are run -- Smart Drive attribute failed. Also i repeatedly got a warning for imminent hard drive failure and thus to back up my data. So i gave my laptop to authorized HP service center for repair. They formatted my hard disk and installed a pirated copy of Win 7 Ultimate (i earlier had genuine Win 7 Home Premium running on my laptop) and they told me they cover out-of-warranty issues and even charged me for it. What's worse is that the hard drive problem is still present and all i am left with is an illegal copy of windows which i think also voids my warranty. What should i do? I mean i did purchase a genuine Windows with my laptop, so there must be some way to reinstall it even when i don't have a genuine copy now on my machine. Can't i get legit keys to reinstall Win 7 from Microsoft because i did pay for the software when i purchased my machine. And if that's not possible, how can i claim warranty and get my hard disk replaced by HP?

    I'm setting a selector.xml to the ListView Selector : <item android:state_focused="false" android:state_selected="true" android:state_pressed="true" android:drawable="@drawable/timeline_selected_rect"/> <item android:state_focused="false" android:state_selected="true" android:state_pressed="false" android:drawable="@drawable/timeline_selected_rect"/> <item android:state_focused="true" android:state_selected="true" android:state_pressed="true" android:drawable="@drawable/timeline_selected_rect"/> but setting this is causing the TextView flickr over selection. this thing is not happening when the Default selector is used... whats wrong with this selector. I have even added android:cacheColorHint="#00000000" as provided info by some other blogs.

Now, as soon as the recording is completed, I need to play the recorded voice back to the user before posting it to the server.     Hi all, I am using Ajax.dll in my web application.I need to refresh a page for maintaining a session more than one hour, So I created a ajax method that will be called for every 15 mins. Suddenly it throws an error System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at Ajax.AjaxRequestProcessor.Run() at Ajax.AjaxHandler.ProcessRequest(HttpContext context) at System.Web.HttpApplication.CallHandlerExecutionStep.System.Web.HttpApplication.IExecutionStep.Execute() at System.Web.HttpApplication.ExecuteStep(IExecutionStep step, Boolean& completedSynchronously) I thought the error might be in Ajax dll. Can anyone please help me to get rid of the issue please.

  • Android TextView inside a ListView setTextHighlightColor() issue

    I have Listview and Textview inside it now the thing is that i want to change the Text Color over the Selection of the that cell in the Listview but setting setTextHighlightColor of Textview is not giving this output I have tired setting a selector for this but that is not Heling too. Can this be solved. What might be causing the issue to populate.     Hi all, I am using Ajax.dll.I have registered the class using Ajax.Utility.RegisterTypeForAjax(typeof(Default)) in page load. I have written a function in the server side to return "Name",like [Ajax.AjaxMethod(HttpSessionStateRequirement.ReadWrite)] public string GetName() { return "Test"; } and i accessed from the page like Default.GetName(). For first time its working fine.after leaving system idle for one hour if click any link, that throws error "default is undefined ". Is there anyway to fix this issue?
