For example: n univ av should match N University Ave king blv should match Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd ne 9th should match both NE 9th St and 9th St NE Bonus points (JK) for a "replace" regex that wraps the matched text with <b> tags.

  • Preserving hierarchy when converting .csv file to xml or json

    Hello I have a question concerning translating data from a CSV into XML or JSON where it is essential to preserve the heirarchy of the data. For example, if I have CSV data like this: type,brand,country,quantity apple,golden_delicious,english,1 apple,golden_delicious,french,2 apple,cox,,4 apple,braeburn,,1 banana,,carribean,6 banana,,central_america,7 clememtine,,,3 What I want is to preserve hierarchy in the XML so that I get something like: <fruit> <type = "apple"> <brand = "golden_delicious"> <country = "english" quantity = "1"> <country = "french" quantity = "2"> </brand> <brand = "cox"> <quantity = "4"> </brand> <brand = "braeburn"> <quantity = "1"> </brand> </type> <type = "banana"> <country = "carribean" quantity = "6"> <country = "central_america" quantity = "7"> </type> <type = "clementine"> <quantity = "3"> </type> <fruit /> Is it best to try to use JAXP or to convert the above into a table simply of parent, child and then writing the data to an array of strings for processing,? Like this: parent,child fruit,apple apple,golden_delicious golden_delicious,english golden_delicious,french english,1 french,2 apple,cox cox,4 apple,braeburn braeburn,1 And so on. I can't seem to crack this - I have two tables (Persons and Companies), and I'm trying to create a view that: 1) shows all persons 2) also returns companies by themselves once, regardless of how many persons are related to it 3) orders by name across both tables To clarify, some sample data: (Table: Companies) Id Name 1 Banana 2 ABC Inc. 3 Microsoft 4 Bigwig (Table: Persons) Id Name RelatedCompanyId 1 Joe Smith 3 2 Justin 3 Paul Rudd 4 4 Anjolie 5 Dustin 4 The output I'm looking for is something like this: Name PersonName CompanyName RelatedCompanyId ABC Inc. NULL ABC Inc. NULL Anjolie Anjolie NULL NULL Banana NULL Banana NULL Bigwig NULL Bigwig NULL Dustin Dustin Bigwig 4 Joe Smith Joe Smith Microsoft 3 Justin Justin NULL NULL Microsoft NULL Microsoft NULL Paul Rudd Paul Rudd Bigwig 4 As you can see, the new "Name" column is ordered across both tables (the company names appear correctly in between the person names), and each company appears exactly once, regardless of how many people are related to it. Can this even be done in SQL?! P.S. I'm trying to create a view so I can use this later for easy data retrieval, fulltext indexing and make the programming side simpler by just querying the view.

    Hi. I'm new to jquery and, in addition, I think I'm having a brain freeze. I have a number of links with different ids. I want to match the clicked link with a div with the corresponding class so the div will show/hide/toggle as appropriate.     Let's say I have a class called Fruit with child classes of the different kinds of Fruit with their own specific attributes, and I want to collect them in a FruitBasket: class Fruit(models.Model):     type = models.CharField(max_length=120,default='banana',choices=FRUIT_TYPES)     ... class Banana(Fruit):     """banana (fruit type)"""     length = models.IntegerField(blank=True, null=True)     ... class Orange(Fruit):     """orange (fruit type)"""     diameter = models.IntegerField(blank=True, null=True)     ... class FruitBasket(models.Model):     fruits = models.ManyToManyField(Fruit)     ... The problem I seem to be having is when I retrieve and inspect the Fruits in a FruitBasket, I only retrieve the Fruit base class and can't get at the Fruit child class attributes. I think I understand what is happening--when the array is retrieved from the database, the only fields that are retrieved are the Fruit base class fields. But is there some way to get the child class attributes as well without multiple expensive database transactions? (For example, I could get the array, then retrieve the child Fruit classes by the id of each array element). thanks in advance, Chuck

    Edit: I know that method 1 is essentially invalid and will probably use method 2, but I'm looking for the best hack or a better solution to mitigate rampant, mutable namespace proliferation. I have multiple class or method definitions in one namespace that have different dependencies, and would like to use the fewest namespace blocks or explicit scopings possible but while grouping #include directives with the definitions that require them as best as possible. Basically, each value in the array needs to be placed underneath the one above, but it must be based on this same structure of 3 columns, and also an equal amount of fruits per column/row (unless there was like 7 fruits there would be 3 in one column and 2 in the other columns. Sorry I know it's confusing lol

    Hi I have read quite a few selcet+update questions in here but cannot understand how to do it. So will have to ask from the beginning. I would like to update a table based on data in another table. Setup is like this: - TABLE a ( int ; string ) ID WORD 1 banana 2 orange 3 apple - TABLE b ( "comma separated" string ; string ) WORDS TEXTAREA 0 banana -> 0,1 0 orange apple apple -> BEST:0,2,3 ELSE 0,2,3,3 0 banana orange apple -> 0,1,2,3 Now I would like to for each word in TABLE a append ",a.ID" to b.WORDS like: SELECT id, word FROM a (for each) -> UPDATE b SET words = CONCAT(words, ',', a.id) WHERE b.textarea like %a.word% Or even better: replace the word found in b.textarea with ",a.id" so it is the b.textarea that ends up beeing a comma separeted string of id's... But I do not know if that is possible.

  • Skip subdirectory in python import

    Ok, so I'm trying to change this: app/ - lib.py - models.py - blah.py Into this: app/ - __init__.py - lib.py - models/ - __init__.py - user.py - account.py - banana.py - blah.py And still be able to import my models using from app.models import User rather than having to change it to from app.models.user import User all over the place. Basically, I want everything to treat the package as a single module, but be able to navigate the code in separate files for development ease. The reason I can't do something like add for file in __all__: from file import * into init.py is I have circular references between the model files. A fix I don't want is to import those models from within the functions that use them. But that's super ugly. Let me give you an example: user.py ... from app.models import Banana ... banana.py ... from app.models import User ... I wrote a quick pre-processing script that grabs all the files, re-writes them to put imports at the top, and puts it into models.py, but that's hardly an improvement, since now my stack traces don't show the line number I actually need to change. Any ideas? I always though init was probably magical but now that I dig into it, I can't find anything that lets me provide myself this really simple convenience.

  • Event 4098, 0x80070533 Logon failure: account currently disabled?

    Having started to upgrade our PCs to Windows 7 we have noticed that we are getting group policy warnings in Event Viewer such as: "The user 'Word.qat' preference item in the 'a_Office2007_Users {A084A37B-6D4C-41C0-8AF7-B891B87FC53B}' Group Policy object did not apply because it failed with error code '0x80070533 Logon failure: account currently disabled.' This error was suppressed." 15 of these warnings appear every two hours on every Windows 7 PC, most of which are to do with core office applications and two are for plug-ins to out document management system. These warnings aren't afecting the users, but it would be nice to track down the source of them before we rollout Win7 to the rest of the Organisation. Any ideas as to where the login issue could be comming from (All users are connecting to the domain and proxy, etc fine)?

  • LINKED TABLES BETWEEN MS ACCESS 2003 AND MS ACCESS 2007-WRITE PERMISSIONS DENIED

    We are in the process of switching over to ACCESS 2007. We have numerous data tables in ACCESS 2003 files. In one case, the user has 2007 on his PC and opend the front end in 2007. No problems. When the the user is done, he clicks a button that executes a macro full of update queries. The macro reaches the first query and halts. We get a messge saying we do not have permisons to write to this linked table (2003 format). There were no security files involved. We re-linked from 2007, same problem. LAN permssions were ok. I wound up having to import the tables to front end in order for the user to be able to do his job.

  • Logging events as an Office 2007 application opens.

    Is it possible to log what a Microsoft Office 2007 application does as it starts up. We are having an issue with Word where it hangs on the splash screen for a particular user and no one else and would like to find out what is causing it to hang. Windows event viewer only shows that the application was terminated unexpectedly because of a hang.

    I want to backup my Outlook email into Gmail. I have setup my Gmail account in Outlook using IMAP like is suggested here - http://www.keenerliving.com/importing-outlook-into-gmail - and I can successfully upload Outlook emails into Gmail, but Exchange mail doesn't copy across the sender and receivers. All Exchange emails in Gmail are listed as sent by (unknown sender). How do you upload Exchange emails into Gmail from Outlook while maintaining the correct From and To email addresses?

  • Booting off windows image through network

    I have a HP st5742, which is a tower that does not have a hard drive and I am trying to boot it off the network, preferably off an image. It was designed along with the program HP Image Manager, however this program has been discontinued by HP and I can not seem to find a way to get a copy. If this helps, I am running my network with windows server 2008 R2 and would like the streaming client to be running windows. I have spent days searching for a way to deploy this machine however I can not seem to find a straight forward program, guide, or way to do this. I am new to this sort of thing but I willing to reading into the subject, all I need is a point in the right direction. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • How do I disable Tomcat? [closed]

    Possible Duplicate: How to disable Tomcat on linux? According to my server host, something called Tomcat is hogging all my resources and slowing down the server. As far as I'm aware I'm not using it as the only thing running on the server is Plesk and a few Wordpress installations. I'm a real dummy at using SSH, I can navigate to folders, change permissions and that's about it. Could somebody explain to me as if I'm a 5 year old how to disable TomCat (and also how to stop it re-enabling on startup)? Thanks!

  • Using Xbox 360 controller with Mac OS X (specifically turning it off)

    So I've been using this driver for a few months with the Xbox 360 Wireless Controller For Windows with my Mac Mini. Here's an article about the driver on Gizmodo. The driver works really well for actually using the controller, but there doesn't seem to be a way to power off the controller without pulling the batteries. Does anyone know of a replacement driver that includes power-off capabilities, or know of some other undocumented way to turn the controller off? Note: I've been having problems getting to the site, but it could be our corporate filtering.

  • Office 2010 Trusted Locations not working after restart

    In Excel 2010, on Windows XP, I am unable to open files - through the open dialog box - from a network drive. The sever has already been added to the Trusted Locations and now most security settings turned down or off. Excel will show "Downloading ..." on that status bar and a progress bar which doesn't progress. We have left Excel sitting in this state for 30+ minutes and no change. A similar problem occurs when saving files to network shares. If we use explorer to navigate to the files and double click them they open flawlessly. No add-ins are active. We also have this problem in Word 2010, but the server was not initially in the Trusted Locations. I added it and it worked until the PC was reset, it now exhibits the same issues as Excel where the server is in the Trusted locations but will not open files. I have tried removing the server from the Trusted Location in both applications, restarting the PC and re-adding them (testing before, after and in-between) and had no luck.

  • What can I do to prevent system power downs?

    Yesterday I was given my brother's old laptop - core i7, 2.67GHz, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD, Win7 64 bit. It's a Sony Vaio Z11. Approx 18 months old. When running something computationally intensive, the fan starts up and after about 30 secs it just powers itself down with no warning. I guess it is overheating. There is nothing in the event logs to suggest what is causing it - the only thing I see is "the last system shutdown was unexpected" or something similar. This is a problem for me because I use a lot of number crunching apps, which pretty much makes it useless to me. I would like to know if there is anything I can do, other than the obvious things I've done already - open up and clean out dust, re-install the OS. According to my brother, this problem started about 6 months ago when it was already outside warranty. If it's just used for simple things - web browsing, word processing etc, the problem does not occur. Any ideas for what I can do to fix this ? Update: I found that the laptop has 2 hardware settings for graphics: Speed and Stamina - the Speed setting seems to use an nvidia GEforce GT 330M, while the Stamina setting uses an Intel chipset. With the setting on Speed, I can hear the fan the whole time, and the system powers down after a short while (5-10 mins) even just doing basic tasks (browsing this site for example), but doesn't shut down if I just leave it switched on. In this mode it also sometimes just freezes the screen and I have to power off myself. However on Stamina setting it only powers down when doing number crunching and never freezes the screen.
