  • Local Apache Web server works only when connected to the net

    Hello, I installed Ubunut and got the LAMP stack installed too. Now the problem is I have to be connected to the internet for the local apache webserver to work, else it does not. I changed the IP address on the dnshost, in the apache2.conf file, got the servername in the httpd.conf, which was empty. Any ideas guys. Thanks Jean

    Hey Guys, I am having a hard time getting the rewrite rule setup correctly for my website&blog. Here is the current line in Apache's virtual host: RewriteRule ^/(?:blog|apc|_em|phpsecinfo|blog/)/ - [L] I am able to access my URL at www.domainname.com/blog/ But I am unable to access it at www.domainname.com/blog (without the ending /) How can I edit my Rewrite rule so that I can reach the blog without the ending / ? Is there anyway to create netcat to read xml and send to php? Any other solution welcome! Is it better to run php to listen to Port? in that case will multiple requests at the same time work?

    on a plesk 9.3.0 running Apache on CentOS I have 6 vhosts setup. All of them run wordpress, installed via installatron. Sometimes, when I request mynewsite.com (last site created) it instead shows firstsite.com (first site setup in this VPS). this only happens on mynewsite.com. It has never occurred on any of the other sites in this VPS. I am baffled. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

    I have just moved my code over to a new server (running on Apache 2.2.3), and PHP's DOM functions are now returning "Fatal error: Class 'DOMDocument' not found". I did some research and it appears that the installation I am now on does not have PHP's DOM functions enabled. I need to enable these functions, so what is the quickest way to go about this?     I am using camel 2.9.0 in my project. We have a number of routes divided into different camel contexts. Each camel context is bundled separately and deployed in Apache Karaf. Now the problem is divied into 2 parts: 1.) Each route is a scheduled route. Although using Quartz component, we are able to define a cron expressio in each route, we want a console where in we can trigger,stop any route and also put a cron expression to any route.(Scheduling a route through a web console is our main objective). 2.) Also we tried to configure the cron expression for each route through quartz.property. But if someone wants to change the cron expression at runtime in Apache Karaf, then we have to stop the bundle deployed and start in again. What can be done to change the value of cron expression at runtime. Any replies and help would be appreciable. Piyush
