  • MODX parse error function implode (is it me or modx?)

    - by Ian
    Hi, I cannot for the life of me figure this out, maybe someone can help. Using MODX a form takes user criteria to create a filter and return a list of documents. The form is one text field and a few checkboxes. If both text field and checkbox data is posted, the function works fine; if just the checkbox data is posted the function works fine; but if just the text field data is posted, modx gives me the following error: Error: implode() [function.implode]: Invalid arguments passed. I've tested this outside of modx with flat files and it all works fine leading me to assume a bug exists within modx. But I'm not convinced. Here's my code: <?php $order = array('price ASC'); //default sort order if(!empty($_POST['tour_finder_duration'])){ //duration submitted $days = htmlentities($_POST['tour_finder_duration']); //clean up post array_unshift($order,"duration DESC"); //add duration sort before default $filter[] = 'duration,'.$days.',4'; //add duration to filter[] (field,criterion,mode) $criteria[] = 'Number of days: <strong>'.$days.'</strong>'; //displayed on results page } if(!empty($_POST['tour_finder_dests'])){ //destination/s submitted $dests = $_POST['tour_finder_dests']; foreach($dests as $value){ //iterate through dests array $filter[] = 'searchDests,'.htmlentities($value).',7'; //add dests to filter[] $params['docid'] = $value; $params['field'] = 'pagetitle'; $pagetitle = $modx->runSnippet('GetField',$params); $dests_array[] = '<a href="[~'.$value.'~]" title="Read more about '.$pagetitle.'" class="tourdestlink">'.$pagetitle.'</a>'; } $dests_array = implode(', ',$dests_array); $criteria[] = 'Destinations: '.$dests_array; //displayed on results page } if(is_array($filter)){ $filter = implode('|',$filter);//pipe-separated string } if(is_array($order)){ $order = implode(',',$order);//comma-separated string } if(is_array($criteria)){ $criteria = implode('<br />',$criteria); } echo '<br />Order: '.$order.'<br /> Filter: '.$filter.'<br /> Criteria: '.$criteria; //next: extract docs using $filter and $order, display user's criteria using $criteria... ?> The echo statement is displayed above the MODX error message and the $filter array is correctly imploded. Any help will save my computer from flying out the window. Thanks

  • Re-load Android activity data

    - by rhinds
    Hi, I am writing an Android app, part of which will be a survey involving multiple pages of checkbox question and answers. I have created an activity to display the question and options (from the DB) and what I want to do now is when i press the "Next" button it should just reload the current activity with the next question set from the database. (the activity starts with survey.getNextQuestion() - so its just a case of refreshing the activity so it updates) Im sure this is a simple thing to do -any ideas? Thanks

  • Change WizardForm.TasksList offset

    - by Paja
    When I change WizardForm.TasksList.Offset to 20, the result looks like this: When I change it to 120, it looks like this: The problem is, I need it 120, but I don't want any space between the checkbox and it's label. You can see that with offset 120 it looks just awful, because of that space. I want the space to appear only at the left side, not in the middle. Is there any way to accomplish that?

  • Html.CheckBoxFor() checked problem in ASP.Net MVC 2

    - by inolen
    It doesn't seem that the Html.CheckBoxFor helper adds the correct "checked" attribute when rendering the HTML. I have a bool property rendered like so: <%= Html.CheckBoxFor(m => m.Visible) %> And the outputted HTML is this: <input type="checkbox" value="true" name="Visible" id="Visible"> Is there some particular reason it does not add the "checked" attribute when the value is true?

  • KnockoutJS radio buttons not changing like checkboxes do

    - by Gaui
    I have the same data structure for checkboxes and radio buttons. When checking the checkboxes, they return correct boolean value ('chosen' variable). However, when I check the radio buttons, 'chosen' always changes to the 'value' (integer). Also the radio buttons don't get "checked" in the beginning, even though 'chosen' == true Javascript: function attributeValueViewModel(data) { var self = this; self.id = ko.observable(data.id); self.attributeID = ko.observable(data.attributeID); self.value = ko.observable(data.value); self.chosen = ko.observable(data.chosen); } function viewModel() { var self = this; self.attributeValues1 = ko.observableArray([]); self.attributeValues2 = ko.observableArray([]); self.addToList = function(data) { ko.utils.arrayForEach(data, function(item) { self.attributeValues1.push(new attributeValueViewModel(item)); self.attributeValues2.push(new attributeValueViewModel(item)); }); }; } var arr = [ { "id": 55, "attributeID": 28, "value": "Yes", "chosen": false, }, { "id": 56, "attributeID": 28, "value": "No", "chosen": true, }, { "id": 62, "attributeID": 28, "value": "Maybe", "chosen": false, } ]; var vm = new viewModel(); ko.applyBindings(vm); vm.addToList(arr); HTML <b>Checkbox:</b> <div id="test1"> <span data-bind="foreach: attributeValues1()"> <input type="checkbox" data-bind="value: id(), checked: chosen, attr: { name: 'test1' }" /> <span data-bind="text: value()"></span> <span data-bind="text: chosen()"></span> </span> </div> <br /> <b>Radio:</b> <div id="test2"> <span data-bind="foreach: attributeValues2()"> <input type="radio" data-bind="value: id(), checked: chosen, attr: { name: 'test2' }" /> <span data-bind="text: value()"></span> <span data-bind="text: chosen()"></span> </span> </div>? Here is my fiddle: http://jsfiddle.net/SN7Vn/1/ Can you please explain this behavior and why the radio buttons don't update boolean (like checkboxes do)?

  • use JQuery to get a list of classes

    - by John
    Hi I have a un-ordered (ul) html list. Each li item has 1 or more classes attached to it. I want to go through this ul list and get all the (distinct) classes. Then from this list create a list of checkboxes who's value matches that of the class and also who's label matches that of the class. One checkbox for each class. What is the best way to do this using JQuery? Thanks

  • How to suppress the inclusion of the .Net framework in a installation package created with visual st

    - by Dabblernl
    I built a very simple installation package that only consists of some merge modules. The Setup project explorer shows no dependencies on .Net for these merge modules (and it should not). However, on building the .msi file a requierement for .Net is added to it. Can this be avoided, or do I have to use a third party .msi builder? (I tried the obvious unchecking of any checkbox in the requierements listbox.)

  • Editing a table like iPhone Mail

Tapping one or more checkboxes then tapping the delete button causes the checked messages to be deleted. How can I add similar functionality to my own code? Here's a screenshot of the effect I'm looking for:

  • Style Problem with Repeater Inside a Datalist

  • How do I create a loop based off this array?

    - by dmanexe
    I'm trying to process this array, first testing for the presence of a check, then extrapolating the data from quantity to return a valid price. Here's the input for fixed amounts of items, with no variable quantity. <input type="checkbox" name="measure[<?=$item->id?>][checked]" value="<?=$item->id?>"> <input type="hidden" name="measure[<?=$item->id?>][quantity]" value="1" /> Here's the inputs for variable amounts of items. <input type="checkbox" name="measure[<?=$item->id?>][checked]" value="<?=$item->id?>"> <input class="item_mult" value="0" type="text" name="measure[<?=$item->id?>][quantity]" /> So, the resulting array is multidimensional. Here's an output: Array ( [1] => Array ( [quantity] => 1 ) [2] => Array ( [quantity] => 1 ) [3] => Array ( [quantity] => 1 ) ... [14] => Array ( [checked] => 14 [quantity] => 999 ) ) Here's the loop I'm using to take this array and process items checked off the form in the first place. I guess the question essentially boils down to how do I structure my conditional statement to incorporate the multi-dimensional array? foreach($field as $value): if ($value['checked'] == TRUE) { $query = $this->db->get_where('items', array('id' => $value['checked']))->row(); #Test to see if quantity input is present if ($value['quantity'] == TRUE) { $newprice = $value['quantity'] * $query->price; $totals[] = $newprice; } #Just return the base value if not else { $newprice = $query->price; $totals[] = $newprice; } } else { } ?> <p><?=$query->name?> - <?=money_format('%(#10n', $newprice)?></p> <? endforeach; ?>

  • PHP Using session variables in array(s)

    - by Chris
    Hello, My question is how do i put these session variables into a array? I have tried countless ways but none of them work. Not really sure what to put in a array and what no and how to adress them. Currently when i fill in the form the data gets displayed in a table. Next when i press the hyperlink that takes me back to the same form, i wish to enter data again. This data should be added in a new row in the same display table. Best Regards. • Can you selectively enable or disable 'FilterDescriptors' in silverlight 4?

    - by Simon_Weaver
    In Silverlight with RIA services it is very easy to implement simple data filtering with 'FilterDescriptor' instances. However I've got a case where I have several filters and I want to enable or disable them based on other filters. It seems like a simple 'Enabled' property would make this really easy - but there is none. Is there a way to achieve this without just manually defining all the filters I need every time the relevant checkbox is checked.
