• FBML tag to detect user language in a tab

  I have a custom tab for a fan page that need to display a JPEG image. I have an image in English and one in French. Is there a way to detect the user locale in FBML to display the right image? I know how to do this server side using the Facebook fb_sig_locale param but I was planning on just using the Static FBML app which is much simpler than setting up a whole custom application.

  hi all, i want to create a formula for change my value from EUR into USD. FIELD1 (choice): EUR, USD FIELD2 (number): amount in EUR or USD Now, if USD is selected in FIELD1 following should happen: calaculate FIELD2*0,71 otherwiese the result is FIELD2. FIELD3 (calculated): =IF(FIELD1="USD", (FIELD2*0,71), FIELD2)) When I use this formula I get error message: The formula contains a syntax error or is not supported. Any idea? • UIDatePicker locale does nothing?

  I'm creating a UIDatePicker programmatically, and setting its locale with the following code: datePicker.locale = [[[NSLocale alloc] initWithLocaleIdentifier:@"es_ES"] autorelease]; The datepicker still appears in English (or whatever language I've set the phone to). Anyone have any idea why this does nothing, or how to fix it?

  Hi all, I have a C# form based program and have been using System.Text.Encoding.GetEncoding(1252) but I've had trouble reading non-English characters, I've discovered System.Text.Encoding.GetEncoding(1255) works however I don't know the implications of changing this so I'm hoping someone can shed some light on the difference and possible implications.   i have tried load and hebrew didn't work for me so i changed my code to $.ajax({ type: "post", url: "process-tb.asp", data: data, success: function(msg) (partial code) not knowing that post and get is the problem for my hebrew querystring. so know i can get my page to get the hebrew and english but no spaces are add to the text. all pages are encoded to utf-8. what is wrong with it?

  I know precisely what a "third-party library" is, so I assume that the "third-party" in this case, simply is an arbitrary person/company other than the developer? Has it to do with "first person" / "second person" etc perhaps? The fact that there is a "third party" suggests that there is a "first party" and a "second party" as well. Are those terms well defined? (I'm not a native english speaker.)

• CSS Rollover button bug

  Hi Everyone, I'm trying to create a drop down button and its almost working except one little bug. I have several big buttons that change background color when the user hovers over them and one of them, the language button, displays several suboptions inside itself when the user hovers over it. That all works fine except the language button doesn't change its background color when the user hovers over it. It does change its color if the cursor is just inside the button but not if it touches the 3 sub options. What i need is a technique or a rule that states that the button will change background color if user hovers over it or if the user hovers over one of its children elements. How do I achieve this?
