    I think I accidentally remapped my git command to automatically include the subcommand credential-osxkeychain on the command line while trying to install a git credential-helper. When I enter $git it now displays Usage: git credential-osxkeychain <get|store|erase> How can I fix it? Entering $alias returns alias rvm-restart='rvm_reload_flag=1 source '\''/Users/teh/.rvm/scripts/rvm'\''' Entering $which git returns /usr/bin/git I think the problem may have began when I entered a command to move git-credential-osxkeychain into /usr/bin/git instead of /usr/bin/

  • Javascript on a desktop wallpaper (XP)

    I have a desktop wallpaper shipped out by my domain, it's a HTML wallpaper that displays information like today's date, etc. It also has the internet usage rules. Using jquery I've made it so that the rules are hidden and displayed when you click on the section heading. The JS runs fine and it hides the rules, but it appears that once the desktop "loses focus" the javascript stops and clicking the headings does nothing. Anyone know a way to keep javascript running?

    I've followed this guide: http://www.phamviet.net/2012/06/03/centos-6-2-compile-php-5-4-2-from-source/ It all works as it should, but when I'm done and I type 'service httpd restart' following by 'php --version', it still displays the old 5.1.6 PHP version. This is 'uname -a' : Linux xxxxxx.com 2.6.32-042stab061.2 #1 SMP Fri Aug 24 09:07:21 MSK 2012 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux It's a VPS hosted in my main dedicated server (OpenVZ). Not sure what else to say, but I appreciate any help :) OS: CentOS 6

    How do I synchronize my Outlook 2010 calendar to SharePoint 2010 website? I am able to synchronize SharePoint Calendar into my Outlook calendar but not able to do Outlook Calendar (meetings, Data) into SharePoint Calendar. When my office people go into our intranet site, I just want them to see my calendar in SharePoint which updates the data from Outlook and displays it but this calendar data on SharePoint should only be read-only to other users.

    I can not run the Terminal.app after rolling back my system from time machine. Mac OS X Version 10.6.2 It displays the following error. "Your are not authorized to run this application" "The administrator has set your shell to an illegal value" After that I have deleted the file ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Terminal.plist But the same message is displayed. I have repaired all system rights with the DiskUtility but that did not help.

  • How can I control when Microsoft Security Essentials Updates Itself?

    I'm using Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) on a Windows Vista SP2 box. Every day in the 4 PM hour MSE updates itself: The green fortress icon in the notification area displays an animated download arrow, and my computer becomes unusably sluggish for five minutes (or more). I'm generally forced to take a coffee break or read a magazine. How can I control the time of day when this update occurs? Sometime after 9 PM would be ideal. Thanks.

    I have two displays (one monitor and one TV) connected to my card via DVI. I switch between them with Win+P (when I'm using XBMC I set "only projector"). Most of the time, I use it during late hours, so I just turn off the PC (with XBMC's option "shutdown") and go to sleep. All fine, but on the next day my display is changed (to "only projector"). Bottom line is - how can I set my Windows 7 to have "only monitor" each time system boots?

    i need check if a network drive is mapped and accessible. From time to time windows displays a red X on the drive, and i would need to manually click the drive in explorer to reconnect. I already found solutions which involve editing the registry which unfortunately isn´t possible. So i would need a batch file checking for connection, and (re-)mounting the drive.     Are there PC monitors which are e-ink displays? E-ink is so much easier to read documents on that I'd rather like a secondary monitor just for documents, but I can't find any monitors available currently. Perhaps just an e-reader with some kind of remote control from a PC, so that it can be put in a cradle and display a document, but it would also need to have a fairly large screen to make it practical (perhaps something like A4 (EU) or Letter (US) sized?)

  • Copy + Paste Chinese From Website

    I am re-branding a website that has both English & Chinese Traditional text. When I am copying + pasting the Chinese text into notepad++, the characters gets displayed as question marks. I tried changing the language settings within notepad++ to Chinese, but it now displays as squashed rectangles. I also changed my keyboard language setting in Windows 7 to Chinese but it did not work. This is what I see when I right-click in Chrome to copy the Chinese character:

    Recently, my displays have been turning blue when they wake up from sleep. This has hapeened on my Macbook and on my 2nd monitor on my PC (which I use for VM and remote desktop). It's possible that part of it might be my eyes, but seeing the blue monitor next to my other monitor on my PC has convinced me that something is probably out of place. What might that be?

    I am using Centos5 running on a VMWare but whenever I choose to open the User Manager menu from System-Administration, an error message always displays The user database cannot be read. This problem is most likely caused by a mismatch between etc/passwd and /etc/shadow or /etc/group and /etc/gshadow/. The program will now exit.   • What are the possible causes of a not-booting motherboard with drdebug 00 code?

    I have pursached a new Asrock Z68 Extreme4 motherboard with an i7 2600K and 2x4GB ADATA DDR3. My problem is that it doesn't boot or beep, and the onboard drdebug led constantly displays "00" - which is according to the board's manual, "not used". The power cables are probably conntecting, because if I disconnect the 4+4 or 20+4 cable, nothing is displayed on the leds. Has anybody seen this error? What are the possible causes?
