  • start to preload content after a complete page load

    i am trying to make the preloading work in such a way that the components i wish to preload start to load after successfully loading the page. for example, i have index.php. i want it to load up completely. as soon as it loads up i want to start loading the other components. to make things clear. i have a nav that makes use of large size images. if i load them along with the index.php file, it would increase load up time of the page. i wish for those large images to load after completely rendering index.php? am i making sense? is it possible?

I'm totally new to django . and I'm using its documentation to get help on how to use it but seems like something is missing. i installed django using setup.py install command and i added the ( django/bin ) to system path variable but. i still cant start a new project i use the following syntax to start a project : django-admin.py startproject myNewProject but it says Type 'django-admin.py help' for usage. 1 do i miss anything ? thank u

  • Compare range of ip addresses with start and end ip address in MySQL

    I have a MySQL table where I store IP ranges. It is setup in the way that I have the start address stored as a long, and the end address (and an id and some other data). Now I have users adding ranges by inputting a start and end ip address, and I would like to check if the new range is not already (partially) in the database. I know I can do a between query, but that doesn't seem to work with 2 different columns, and I also cannot figure out how to pass a range to compare it. Doing it in a loop in PHP is a possibility, but would with a range of e.g. 132.0.0.0-199.0.0.0 be quite a big amount of queries..

  • UITableView with Core Data and fetchedResultsController - don't want to call it at start up

    Hi all, I started with the Navigation-based application. I have a UITableView that shows the content fetched from CoreData - using the - (NSFetchedResultsController *)fetchedResultsController from the template. The thing is that I don't want to fill the TableView with the results at the start-up, instead I want to fill the TableView with the results from a search. In my app I have an UITextField, where the user can type a string. And from that string, using predicate, I want to fill the UITableView with the results. In other words, at start-up, the UITableView should be empty and later filled with the search-results. Does anyone have an idea on how to accomplish this? Thanks in advance! EDIT: Solved it by moving out if (![fetchedResultsController_ performFetch:&error]) { and calling it later. I feel a bit stupid ;)

    Thanks in advance of all of your help! I am currently developing a program in C# 2010 that launches PLink (Putty) to create a SSH Tunnel. I am trying to make the program able to keep track of each tunnel that is open so a user may terminate those instances that are no longer needed. I am currently using System.Diagnostics.Process.Start to run PLink (currently Putty being used). I need to determine the PID of each plink program when it is launched so a user can terminate it at will. Question is how to do that and am I using the right .Net name space or is there something better?     Hi, I have all written code and i want to this code standarise by php code sniffer. I would like to know what is the best way to start with it . I had installed it but when i run the command phpcs /path/to/code/myfile.php in the command line i got the last one hundered line error from 310 to 410 . but if i want to see the starting errors of any line error how can i see that . Mostly errors are 322 | ERROR | Spaces must be used to indent lines; tabs are not allowed 322 | ERROR | Line indented incorrectly; expected at least 8 spaces, found 2 How can i solve these things easily and in future it don't repeat , what it saying that i should not use tab , and use space , by using space it will take time . and how can i start with basic standard ,because don't want to utilise more time in this right now. I know it's possible to start the iPhone maps application by calling openURL on a google maps URL with parameters saddr and daddr with location strings or LatLong (see ex. below), but I'm wondering if it's possible to make the start address be the "Current Location" maps bookmark so that I can use the maps app's location handling code.   • RAD - Websphere Application server won't start

    I am having issues with RAD7. My server will not start for me today. I am working from home and connected to the VPN. Everything works except my server in RAD. It worked fine yesterday in work and had previously worked when I was at home but that was a few weeks ago. Are there any settings that I should look out for? I have disabled my proxy settings in RAD and turned off everything in my firewall. I can ping all the DBs that the server is connecting to. I have even removed all the projects from the server and it will still not start. It keeps trying and then times out after 300s. Any suggestions?

  • i want to start my own software/consulting company...ohhh the dilemma [closed]

    I know this is may not be the right place to ask this sort of question,,on the other hand i am sure that it maybe the best...as many of you own a startup. I've been in the industry since 2006, mostly in consulting/business system analysis/project management jobs, not so much coding etc, and although i like working for the companies i am in at the moment...i daily think of starting up something on my own, consulting company,a software company with a good product, but it's the dilemma of making the first step, havent got much money saved up, i have a mortgage and about to start a family so as you can see it's difficult to let the security of a job and take the risk to just do it.... I am sure many of you have been in this dilemma, how did you start off? advice is greatly appreciated Andy
