    I simply want to run a ResetSearchIndex -force on a schedule. What is the correct usage for the command in the Scheduled Task properties?   • Add animation when user control get visible and collapsed In Wpf

    I have two xaml files MainWindow.xaml and other user control WorkDetail.xaml file. MainWindow.xaml file has a textbox, button, listbox and reference to WorkDetail.xaml(user control which is collapsed). Whenever user enter any text, it gets added in listbox when the add button is clicked. When any items from the listbox is double clicked, the visibility of WorkDetail.xaml is set to Visible and it gets displayed. In WorkDetail.xaml (user control) it has textblock and button. The Textblock displays the text of selected item and close button sets the visibility of WorkDetail window to collapsed. Now i am trying to animate WorkDetail.xaml when it gets visible and collapse. When any items from listbox is double clicked and WorkDetail.xaml visibility is set to visible, i want to create an animation of moving WorkDetail.xaml window from right to left on MainWindow. When Close button from WorkDetail.xaml file is clicked and WorkDetail.xaml file is collapsed, i want to slide the WorkDetail.xaml file from left to right from MainWindow.   • Josh Smith's MVVM Demo App: Add commands to MainWindowViewModel's command list

    I have a question concerning Josh Smith's famous demo app on MVVM. I try building a "real" application around it to learn WPF. He creates this CommandsList in the MainWindowViewModel containing 2 Commands (create new and view all customers). This list is readonly (why? any particular reason?). I thougt it would be nice to add and remove some commands, depending on the workspace that is currently selected. Like edit or delete a customer when it has the focus and so on. How would I accomplish this?! Can I just make it a normal list and add commands? Or bind the Commands-View to a commands list of the selected workspace instead of the MainWindow? How? Any other ways? Please share your ideas! Thank you very much!

    i create a custom UITableViewCell and i add on the Cell a UIProgressView, because when i add a row on the UITableView i download the information from a XML data, and i want use the ProgressView to show the progress of the process, my question is, how i can detect in what index row i have to change the progress bar, and then hidden it?...what is the index path of the row just created? in the: cellForRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath i retrieve information from my Custom UITableViewCell in this way: UILabel *label; label = (UILabel *)[cell viewWithTag:1000]; label.text = [[managedObject valueForKey:@"firstName"] description]; so how i can know the index path row of the row just added, to change then the progress bar?

    I picked up an ASUS EEE 1101HA with Windows 7 and installed UBUNTU 10.4 Netbook Remix (dual boot). Ubuntu runs fine, but it doesn't recognize that the notebook LCD is 1388x768 and thus only offers 1024x768 and 800x600 as monitor resolution. So .. how can I tell it about that higher resolution? (Have root pwd & vi, una-bash-ed to use both.. )

    I have a table that needs to be given a new primary key, as my predecesor used a varchar(8) row as the primary key, and we are having problems with it now. I know how to add the primary key, but am not sure of the correct way to add this new primary key to other tables that have the foreign key. Here is what I have: users table: old_user_id varchar(8) ... ... new_user_id int(11) orders table: order_id int(11) ... ... old_user_fk varchar(8) new_user_fk int(11) I need to get the same results whether I join the tables on users.old_user_id=orders.old_user_fk or users.new_user_id=orders.new_user_fk. Any help is appreciated.

In SQL 2005 I would added 2 linked servers both referencing itself with different names, each point to a different table. How do I do this in SQL 2008. I've try the various providers and different parameters butto no avail. The local server is using a trusted connection so I dont need any usernames/passwords Im ideally need to set up the following linked references: DBSVR1 - mydb_master DBSVR2 - mydb_import Any light on the subject would help, I managed to do it in 2005 about 8 months ago but cant remember how, now Im in 2008!

    I'm rewriting my installers to use flat-packages instead of the old package format. pkgbuild doesn't accept my .plugin bundles though. The error is pkgbuild: error: Path "/tmp/installroot/MIDIDriver.plugin" is not a valid bundle component (using destination path "/tmp/installroot)" I tried a lot of different bundles which all were recognized as they should. (.kext, .vst etc.). This problem only appears with .plugin-bundles. Does anyone know what is wrong with these?

  • JMF Registry could not add item (Vista)

    Hello, I'm using JMF to capture video stream (webcam) on my Java project. The camera I'm using is recognized by JMF (JFMStudio) and I manage to get the video stream. However, on JMF Registry Editor - there's a list of available capture devices, when I click "Add" on one of the items (including the one I need) I get a "Could not add item" error. Therefore this camera is not set in the registry of it (god know where) and later on it is not recognized by my project: RGBFormat fmt = new RGBFormat(); // could be YUV - doesn't matter Vector v = CaptureDeviceManager.getDeviceList(fmt); v is empty (while I know the video source is recognized by Java , since I manage to get video on JMF Studio). Now, this happens only on Vista (where else) and not on XP. I have a suspiction that somehow Vista security blocks Java from writing the registry file, but of course, I might be wrong. One more comments: this is vfw:Microsoft WDM Image Capture(Win32):0 device. Any idea ?

However, the action is called every time the account is modified, and also gets called when the account is deleted. The actions it performs should only be done when the account is first created. How can my custom command know which action is being performed? Is there an environment variable which determines if the action is creation, alteration, or deletion?

    Hi all, I have an HP 2600n installed on a SBS2003 server. This printer works fine when I print from the server itself and also from my Windows 7 computer #1. From my Windows 7 #2, it doesn't work. I get the error message that I need to install the driver. The error message is in french but here it the translation. No drivers has been found Windows is unable to find a driver for HP Color Laserjet 2600n on the network. To find a driver manually, click ok. If not, click on cancel and contact your sys adm. I reinstalled from scratch the printer, deleted the driver... Still no luck Any takers?

I "choose application" and put in the path of Thunderbird executable C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Thunderbird\thunderbird.exe And it doesn't work, asks me to close Thunderbird It's strange that Firefox has Outlook as a selectable option which works flawlessly but its own brother Thunderbird isn't even on the list of defaults. PS: And when I have Thunderbird closed and then do the above, it starts the Thunderbird and puts the feed in whatever folder it likes without even asking me.

    I need to create a user on linux with access rights only to one folder. Background: I have installed git on my virtual server (Debian). I also created a user for the repository. There is a lot of private data on the server. But all folders have read-access for others, because it's needed for the applications which run on the server. So the git-user can see all the data. I would like to restrict the git user only to the folder where the repository is installed. I also tried ACL, but it didn't work. Is there a better way to do this? Thanks in advance!

Affected text will be displayed using a substitute font. The font QuickTypePi is missing. Affected text will be displayed using a substitute font. How can I provide the missing fonts so that no substitution occurs and upon return to Adobe Acrobat Pro X the original fonts will remain after any edits in Illustrator? Or, since the message talks about their display, will the font remain unchanged upon return to Adobe Acrobat?

    I just installed SQL Server 2008 R2 and ColdFusion 9.0.1 on my Windows 7 machine for development use only. I have ColdFusion running well and serving pages (that aren't connected to a database). I can view my databases in SQL Server Management Studio. I successfully restored a few small databases and now I am trying to set up datasources for them through the ColdFusion Administrator. On my other machine, this was super easy. Not so much this time. The database I just added is named "Test". I am getting this error: Connection verification failed for data source: Test java.sql.SQLNonTransientConnectionException: [Macromedia][SQLServer JDBC Driver]Error establishing socket to host and port: localhost:1433. Reason: Connection refused: connect The root cause was that: java.sql.SQLNonTransientConnectionException: [Macromedia][SQLServer JDBC Driver]Error establishing socket to host and port: localhost:1433. Reason: Connection refused: connect It looks like the connection between ColdFusion and SQL Server is being refused. I know, brilliant observation, right? On my other machine, I was able to create datasources with just the default settings, no server name, username, or password. Any clue as to what might be the cause and how I might fix it?

So when logged in as root I created a user "chris" and then created a directory /var/www/chris I want "chris" to be able to upload and run files to the /var/www/chris directory. Permissions for the chris dir look like this: drwxrwxr-x 2 root chris 4096 Aug 20 03:35 chris As root I created a sample file called abc.php and put it in the chris dir. It worked fine when I test it in a browser. I logged in as chris and uploaded a file called 1234.php. That did not work. I just got a blank PHP page. The code was identical in both files. So it is not the code. The permissions now look like this: -rw-r--r-- 1 root chris 59 Aug 20 03:34 1234.php -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 49 Aug 20 03:21 abc.php How do I alow the "chris" user to upload files and get them to work?
