  • how to add solr to run on startup?

    I asked this question before, but I think I got answers that were cron job type answers. I want the solr service to startup if I reboot my computer, and I also want it to run by itself instead of me opening up cmd.exe and running it manually, and then having to close my terminal connection (not log off as that will close it). What options do I have? I am on windows server 2008, IIS7 running a asp.net application that uses solr.

  • Add jar to EAR in Eclipse

    I have several projects in an EAR in Eclipse. These projects themselves have dependency jar's on the build path marked as "do not export, do not contribute to others". Now in Eclipse I add jar's to the EAR via the EAR properties "Java EE Module Dependencies". I browse to the jar (add jar) and click ok. The jar is added to the list. When I click apply, the added jar is gone from the list, it cannot be found in other properties, it is contained in the hidden folder .settings in the file org.eclipse.wst.common.component. This behaviour does not make much sense to me, what am I missing?

Indy's onexecute/onconnect get's called as a thread. So if 3+ connections come in at the same time the app crashes due to the TreeView. Same is if a client gets disconnected and I want to delete the Node. I am using Delphi7 and Indy9 Any Idea how to fix that?

  • Add dpkg .symbols or.shlibs to package made using checkinstall

    I have created a simple package using checkinstall of the Oracle Instantclient client libraries, the package installs without problem and is seen in the system. Problem is, that checkinstall doesn't create /var/lib/dpkg/info/oracle-instantclient11.2-basic.symbols or /var/lib/dpkg/info/oracle-instantclient11.2-basic.shlibs files so when I try to create another package (with proper build scripts) that depends on oracle-instantclient11.2-basic the build fails with dpkg-shlibdeps: error: no dependency information found for \ /usr/lib/libclntsh.so.11.1 (used by \ debian/libopendbx1-oracle/usr/lib/opendbx/liboraclebackend.so.1.2.0). dh_shlibdeps: dpkg-shlibdeps \ -Tdebian/libopendbx1-oracle.substvars \ debian/libopendbx1-oracle/usr/lib/opendbx/liboraclebackend.so.1.2.0 \ returned exit code 2 make: *** [binary-arch] Error 9 Is there an easy way to automatically create a package with .symbols or .shlibs files?

  • SBS 2008 - Add user not seeing AD users (reconnecting or creating new mailbox)

    Using SBS 2008 - completely updated. I was originally trying to create a spam mailbox for quarantine purposes, and when I bring up the "select an existing user" it does not display any of the domain users (other than QB database user accounts installed on their server). I have tried changing the scope and still nothing. Searching reveals nothing either. Then later I noticed that we had (1) disconnected mailbox, and I tried to reconnect it to the AD user - and I got the same results. Help would be much appreciated.

    I right-clicked Applications - clicked Edit Menu - reset - confirmed, but Ubuntu One, which I accidetanlly removed wasn't added. Although Ubuntu One was removed, I tried to remove duplicated items in right-click Applications - click Edit Menu - Applications - Others, but the duplicated items weren't removed. How to solve these problems? UPDATE: I uninstalled gnome-menus and libgnome-menu2, because of the post at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=426204, but now Gnome App Central is gone from Applications menu.

    I have a ClassA containing an ArrayList of another ClassB I can save a new instance of ClassA with ClassB instances also saved using JDO. However, When I retrieve the instance of Class A, I try to do like the below: ClassA instance = PMF.get().getPersistenceManager().GetObjectByID( someid ); instance.GetClassBArrayList().add( new ClassB(...) ); I get an Exception like the below: Uncaught exception from servlet com.google.appengine.api.datastore.DatastoreNeedIndexException: no matching index found..     I'm overriding the onrowcreated to add sort images to the header row of a gridview. This works, but actually adding a sortexpression doesn't. What I want to do is set the images as imagebuttons and set their commandarguments to the sort expression of the column they are sorting for. I would assume I could get the cell and from it's index get the gridviewcolumn. Then, I could just get the sortexpression of the gridview column, but this does not work. The columns are null.     I am experimenting with Rails and was wondering what's needed to allow/add support for JSON requests?     I'm the process of moving applications over from all in the public schema to each having their own schema. for each application, I have a small script that will create the schema and then create the tables,functions,etc... to that schema. Is there anyway to automatically add a newly created schema to the search_path? Currently, the only way I see is to find the users current path SHOW search_path; and then add the new schema to it SET search_path to xxx,yyy,zzz; I would like some way to just say, append schema zzz to the users_search path. is this possible?

For example what I need to modify is values from this key but this key only refers to a single user: [HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-543895283-3741240661-2983116896-500\Software\IvoSoft\ClassicStartMenu\Settings] But "S-1-5-21-543895283-3741240661-2983116896-500" is different depending on the user name. I need to add a reference to it, rather than to the library directly. When I open "Add Service Reference" and click "Discover", it only lists the library data, and doesn't list the executable server option. How do I reference a WCF executable service, so the client code would be generated automatically? I use VS 2010. Thanks for your help.

    this seems really simple, but I can't figure it out. I'm using xname.org since it's free and I own a bunch of domains spread over a few different registrars. The setup I desire is very simple: one A record that points the bare domain name to my server, plus a wildcard CNAME record pointing all subdomains to the same server. So if the user goes to domain.com it will point them to 285.24.435.75, if they go to www.domain, blah.domain.com, or any other sub domain, they'll get sent to 285.24.435.75. All the examples I read on the internet about setting up A records all have the A record set to a subdomain such as www. WWW is deprecated so I want to have noting to do with it. Currently my xname.org zone looks like this: $TTL 86400 ; Default TTL domain.com. IN SOA ns0.xname.org. nbvfour.gmail.com. ( 2010052503 ; serial 10800 ; Refresh period 3600 ; Retry interval 604800 ; Expire time 10800 ; Negative caching TTL ) $ORIGIN domain.com. IN NS ns2.xname.org. IN NS ns0.xname.org. IN NS ns1.xname.org. @ IN A 65.49.73.148 * IN CNAME domain.com The '@' symbol is something that the godaddy domain interface uses to mean "this root domain', but that may have been specefic to that interface and has no meaning here. Before I had a 'www' entry in the A rcords and it worked in the sense that I could ping 'www.domain.com' and it returned a response, but pinging the root domain 'domain.com' returned "no host found".
