  • Wordpress Multisite (Subfolders) - Google Analytics Tracking

    I have a Wordpress multisite subfolder instance that I would like to track via Google Analytics. I guess optimally this would be a plugin which I could track each site in two places The Main Tracking Code which totals all traffic from the Multisite instance The Individual Site tracking code to see how each site specifically is doing. I think this plugin would have worked for me if I had a subdomain multisite instance: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-analytics-multisite-async/installation/ I know I can manually place the dual tracking code (http://www.markinns.com/articles/full/adding_two_google_analytics_accounts_to_one_page) but that would involve editing a theme and I have multiple sites using TwentyEleven template. I don't think I can edit the theme and not have it wreak havoc on the rest of the sites using TwentyEleven. So has anyone done this? Is there a a technique I'm missing? Is there a plugin available to do this in Multisite Subfolder installations? Is there a way to manually insert GA codes into themes which are used by multiple sites? Any insight is appreciated.

The more people you know, the more chances you have to find a job. This is how I’ve heard about this internship. I think internship programs are a great opportunity for young people to gain experience and also to start building a career. As companies are looking for the candidates with the best skills and some experience, it’s difficult to get a job. It’s a paradox isn’t it? You are applying for a entry-level position, but you won’t get it because they’ll be searching for someone who has experience. This is why internship is a good solution to improve your skills. You will learn many things, you might get a mentor and also perform given tasks. What else could you do? In my opinion you should invest in yourself. Try to focus on both education and skills. In order to get a good job in an international and successful company, it’s not enough a university diploma. You could learn a foreign language because it’s usually required. Employers are also looking for good computer skills, so this could be something you could take into consideration before applying to a job. There are also some personal characteristics like communication abilities, self-reliance, self-confidence or ability to solve the crisis situations that companies look at when hiring a person. You could consider attending some training in order to improve these soft skills. Getting a job is difficult, but also when you make it and get one you’ll still finding challenging to stay there. You might realize it is not the dream job, but being patient and trying to learn as much as possible will help you to achieve more. I think every experience is valuable. I’ve been through this type of situation, but the environment, my colleagues and the atmosphere in office have always been great and made me love my job! Thanks guys!   • How to change color of the frame of a maximizing window

    Though I have read and tried some advises regarding the change of colors in a theme, I found no answer regarding my question, which is: When I drag a window to the left (or right or up) side of the screen an orange frame shows up, indicating the area that the window will occupy. This frame is in orange. Can you please inform me how can I change this color to blueish, to match my theme? At this point, I would like to inform you that Zorin OS has this blueish frame instead of orange, but I do not know where this color comes from.

  • Why have column borders gone missing in Rhythmbox gui?

    My theme doesn't use shading, only borders/outlines. Since a few weeks ago Rhythmbox has stopped drawing all borders so that I can't see columns or sections very well. Even my scrollbars are not being drawn correctly. This makes the gui really hard to use. When I change themes it seems that Rhythmbox has changed its gui to use only shading to delineate sections, tabs, columns, etc.. Rhythmbox seems to be the only program that has this problem so I'm guessing this is a Rhythmbox thing, but not sure. My theme is not updated for gtk 3.6 Maybe that is the issue? Anyone know what's going on?

  • PHP will not Echo

    I've tried to look into why this isn't echoing but every result the persons trying use php on an html page so this is why I'm here asking. I have 3 php files, a login file, a global config file, and a theme file. The login page echo's the login script but it connects to the global file. The global file connects to the theme file and the db config file. The theme file is a simple table.     I'm trying to set a moodle server up on an Ubuntu box, which already serves Plone & Trac via Apache. In my Moodle config I have $CFG-wwwroot = 'http://www.server-name.org/moodle' The configuration below works fine for the first two, but when I visit www.server-name.com/moodle I get: Incorrect access detected, this server may be accessed only through "http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8888/moodle" address, sorry It then forwards to the IP address, where Moodle functions fine. What am I missing to get the server name approach working correctly?   • how to turn off Register_globals in php.ini? hostgator wordpress server.

    I am running an ecommerce theme on wordpress on a hostgator server, and coming up with this error. Security warning: set the value *register_globals* in the php ini to Off !! This theme will not work correctly otherwise. I can't find the php.ini in any of the folders. I tried creating a file with the added command and putting it in root as suggested via google, with no luck. Any recommendations?otherwise.

  • Wordpress 403/404 Errors: You don't have permission to access /wp-admin/themes.php on this server

    Some background: I setup six blogs this week, all using Wordpress 2.92, installed with Fantastico on a baby croc plan with Hostgator. I used the same theme (heatmap 2.5.4) and plugins for each blog. They were all up and running, no issues at all. I go to create a new blog this morning, using the same setup, and when I try to change the theme settings, I get the following error: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /wp-admin/themes.php on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Apache/2.2.15 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.15 OpenSSL/0.9.8n DAV/2 mod_fcgid/2.3.5 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at http://www.mydomain.com Port 80 I tried uninstalling WP and doing a clean install, still the same issue with a clean installation. So I went back and checked the six other blogs that I had setup over the last week or so, and they are also now giving me 403 or 404 errors when trying to change theme settings, and everytime there's an error it points to either themes.php or functions.php At this point I'm at my wits end trying to figure out what the problem is. Hostgator support looked at it and thought maybe it was a permissions issue but they reset those and I'm still having the problem. At first I thought the problem might have been related to a plugin I recently installed on the previous six blogs that morning (ByREV Fix Missed Shedule Plugin) to deal with a missed schedule bug with WP 2.92, and that maybe that had mucked things up. But then I checked a blog I built months ago, also using the same theme and plugins, and now it too is also encountering the same problem. Any ideas?
