• VBE6.dll not found when opening Access 2007 database in Access 2010

  I have an access 2007 database that has some VBA code in it. I need to open this database in Access 2010, but when I first open it I get an error that says: the expression on open you entered as the event property setting produced the following error: file not found: VBE6.dll I believe it's becuase Access 2010 references VBE7.dll when it loads up, and my database was built to reference VBE6.dll. I've tried putting VBE6.dll in the same folder that VBE7.dll resides in, hoping it would just get loaded up, but no luck. What can I do to resolve this?

After applying the latest round of updates (including Root Certificates for April 2012 KB931125 (See:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/933430/)), EAP authentication is failing due to being malformed. Sample error (Security/Event ID 6273), truncated for brevity: Authentication Details: Proxy Policy Name: Use Windows authentication for all users Network Policy Name: Wireless Access Authentication Provider: Windows Authentication Server: nps-host.corp.contoso.com Authentication Type: PEAP EAP Type: - Account Session Identifier: - Reason Code: 266 Reason: The message received was unexpected or badly formatted. The NPS policy (Wireless Access) is configured accordingly (for Constraints/Authentication methods) EAP Types: Microsoft: Protected EAP (PEAP) - with a valid certificate from ADCS Microsoft: Secured password (EAP-MSCHAP v2) Less secure authentication methods: Microsoft Encrypted Authentication version 2 (MS-CHAP-v2) User can change password after it has expired Microsoft Encrypted Authentication (MS-CHAP) User can change password after it has expired We've tested a different RADIUS server without the aforementioned patch, and removed EAP as an authentication type and experienced success. • Can't figure out error in Cisco ASA log "regular translation creation failed for icmp ..."

  Every few seconds our new Cisco ASA 5505 firewall is logging errors that I can't figure out with my limited Cisco experience. Severity Date Time Syslog ID Source IP Destination IP Description 3 Mar 25 2010 17:21:14 305006 8.8.8.8 regular translation creation failed for icmp src inside:10.10.0.200 dst outside:8.8.8.8 (type 3, code 3) 3 Mar 25 2010 17:18:37 305006 8.8.4.4 regular translation creation failed for icmp src inside:10.10.0.200 dst outside:8.8.4.4 (type 3, code 3) The logged inside IP is our internal DNS resolver, and the outside IP's are Google's public DNS servers. ICMP Type 3 Code 3 means "Port Unreachable" Our "outside" interface has a fixed IP and our "inside" interface is in the 10.10.0.0/16 subnet. The 'Inspect DNS' Service Policy is enabled, with the preset DNS inspection map. Furthermore there's an ACL that allows all inbound ICMP on the "outside" interface. I've spent hours trying to figure this one out, so any and all advice is welcome!

• MS Office 2013 and Asian languages

  I've got a Win7 computer with Office 2013 installed. System language is German. When switching input language to Thai I can type in the system dialog boxes (like start buttno app finder), but can't type in MS Word (pressing the keys on the keyboard does nothing on the screen, the cursor doesn't move). The weirdest thing here is: if I use numeric keypad and type any number after that the keyboard starts working in Word for a few characters. Japanese and Nepal input languages work fine. Does anyone know any way to troubleshoot? Thank you!

• Controlling the fontsize across multiple browsers

  Hello, I've got 3 browsers on my WinXPpro: Firefox 3.5.2, Opera 10 and IE 7. Alle pages are displayed fine in FF. Opera and IE seem to have a very similar issue: Both upsize fonts eventhough zoom mode in both browsers is set to 100%. I tend to believe that this might be a system-wide setting, somewhere. Does anyone know this problem? Thanks in advance.

• Setup LAN to serve webpages and voip and access to the web site from inside LAN with domain name

  I'd like to know if it will work: I have my domain and I´m serving a webpage in a nginx to the internet, but if I type my domain in my laptop inside LAN I access to my modem/router configuration, I cannot access to the web server unless I type the IP address. I would like to add a Bind server after the modem/router - (port forward, ports 80 and 5060), if the request is www.mydomain.com bind should resolve the nginx IP address and serve it, and if it is a voip request should address to the voip server and if I'd like to access to the website from inside LAN I'd like to type mydomain.com. Could I do it with this configuration? Do I need something else? Thanks in advace!

• Dreamweaver not loading due to workspace file problem

  I went to launch Dreamweaver CS 5.5 and this message popped up: XML parsing fatal error: Invalid document structure, line 1, file C:\Documents...(file path)...Workspace\My Workspace.xml It was followed by The following panel layout is missing or could not be read: C:...My Workspace.xml The application will not have a correct layout. Please load one from WindowsWorkspace After that, Dreamweaver acted as if it was going to load, but never did. When I tried to close the program, it crashed. I followed the file path and I saw two files: My Workspace.xml 0kb and My Workspace 5kb. The second one has an unknown file type. I deleted the first file and renamed the unknown file type to My Workspace.xml; everything worked fine after that point. Why did Dreamweaver do this? This has happened several times, but I have not changed anything that should affect that file type.

  Thanks to Lifehacker I came across Sikuli which is described as: Sikuli is a visual technology to search and automate graphical user interfaces (GUI) using images (screenshots). The first release of Sikuli contains Sikuli Script, a visual scripting API for Jython, and Sikuli IDE, an integrated development environment for writing visual scripts with screenshots easily. Sikuli Script automates anything you see on the screen without internal API's support. You can programmatically control a web page, a desktop application running on Windows/Linux/Mac OS X, or even an iphone application running in an emulator. As this looks very promising, perhaps complementary to AutoHotKey I'm curious what scripts you guys will come up with. Especially since this program is portable and could solve "simple" Super User problems. • General purpose ticketing/tech support system [closed]

  Possible Duplicate: What’s your favorite ticketing system? I was wondering if somebody could recommend me a very user friendly or simple general purpose ticketing/tech support system. I need something that is web based, preferably open-sourced/free software implemented using PHP, Ruby, Ruby on Rails or Java (as back end) with MySQL or PostgreSQL as database engine. I need something that is not development management oriented or project management oriented like Eventum or similar (random example), something to which the user can connect open a tech support request and be able to follow it until is solved or dropped.I need it to be open-sourced to be able to modify it if there is a need or extend it. I tried a number of such systems available and I found that osTicket or eTicket is something that it's close to what I need, but the code is somewhat flaky and some of the features are working badly or behaving strangely. Any thoughts/advice where to find something similar? Thanks!

I would like the console to stay in the main directory, I just don't like having to type out app/controller/user_controler.rb every time I want to open the user controller. I know that I could just open the file with my mouse, but I feel like moving from keyboard to mouse breaks my focus a little bit. When I can just tap away at the keyboard it seems like I have a more smooth workflow.

• How to create tunnel to utilize for telnet connection.

  The scenario is as follows: Machine A is located behind client firewall. The machine runs telnetd. This is Linux machine with Python 2.5.4 installed. I do not know the IP addy of the router and firewall is not open incoming. outgoing firewall is open. Machine B (Windows machine) is a server with well known IP address. I can install any programs I want on either machine. The idea is that I want Machine A to open a socket to machine B. Then I want to hold that socket and use to run a telnet session from Machine B to Machine A telnetd server. Is there any freeware that does this? Thoughts? Thanks!

Please verify its path and try again Obviously the error seems to say that yum is trying to search for the CD/DVD which installed the OS. I do not have it now. All I want to do now is to delete this repository from yum. I went to the package manager graphical tool and removed this from the sources. Seems yum and the graphical tool do not use the same config. This is just my guess.

• Saving a modified InfoPath form to its form library

  Within our corporate SharePoint 2007 site, there is a particular form library that contains 10 separate files. 9 of these are either Excel, Word, or PowerPoint files and one of these is an InfoPath 2007 form that serves as a report. After noticing an error within this InfoPath form, I saved this InfoPath form to my local directory and then, within the design mode of InfoPath, I modified this InfoPath form. What is the proper way to save this modified InfoPath form to its form library? Everything that I have tried results in nobody except myself having access to this modified InfoPath form. I can open this InfoPath form without error but when my coworkers try to open this InfoPath form on their machines, they receive this error: “The form cannot be opened because it requires the domain permission level and it currently has restricted permission. To fix this problem, open the form from the location it was published to."

• Is there any online web application for daily activity logs [closed]

  I am looking for daily calendar-like apps, but ones that have some text editor attached for every day. All I want to do is that when I open that page, it should open the text editor for that day and I could enter some data of what I have accomplished, then save it. The next day I'd like it so when I open the application, then I can go to new page, but I have all of the previous day's data to have a look at what I have done. Something like Google calendar, but I need an associated text editor to paste some notes, stuff, etc. on a daily basis with logs.

• Windows XP: GNU find.exe moved my files and now they're lost

  I used a series of GNU find.exe commands to move media files to the current folder. Explorer show that the folders and files still exist in their original location but properties show zero size and files. I performed a chkdisk and that didnt help. Any ideas how to recover these files?   A document was shared with me, enabling me to edit it. However, whenever I open it, it only lets me view it, and anytime I try to open the "Open with Google Docs" tab, it acts as if I never pressed it, same as if I try to download it. Same with whenever I try to create a new document. I'll click "Create" and then "Document" and it won't be registered. I really need these issues fixed pronto, as I have to use this software every day. Please help!!

• Excel 2003 opening files on network

  The network is laid out with an XP Pro computer as the server hosting files, then 3 XP computers connecting to it for filesharing, all on it's own router. One computer can open .xls files no problem, and she runs Office XP. The other two computers run Office 2003, and cannot open any shared files by double-clicking them, or by selecting File-Open in Excel. If the file gets copied to the local computer, it opens instantly. I have tried disabling the AV on all computers, disabling the Windows firewall, and doublechecking permissions on the server. I have also tried disabling DDE, but that doesn't help at all, just like Tools-Options-unticking Ignore other applications. Any ideas? This apparently started a couple days ago

• Redirect URL using Mac OS X Server Lion

  I have just set up a Mac Mini with OS X Lion Server to host my own website. I have registered multiple domain names, but I would like the user to be automatically redirected to my main domain name if they type in one of the others (i.e. if the user types in www.myotherdomain.com the URL will be forwarded instantly to www.mymaindomain.com). In the Web settings of Server.app, you can easily add additional domains (which works) but it does not change the URL in the browser to www.mymaindomain.com. It keeps www.myotherdomain.com whilst still displaying the correct pages. Does the redirects or alias options do what I want? I can't seem to work out how to use them (there seems to be no documentation that I can find). In Redirects, you need to enter: 'Redirect Type' (Exact Match or Regular Expression) 'Redirect Path' 'Destination URL' 'Redirect Status' (Original was permanently moved, etc) In Alias, you need to enter: 'Alias Type' (Exact Match or Regular Expression) 'Alias Path' 'Destination Folder' Any help would be great.

  I am setting up my Ubuntu 10.0.4 server to sync clock with a Windows 2008 AD. As none of the "remote" has a "*" in front (worst it had a blank space in front), does it mean no time sync source is selected? The offset just keep increasing. • ubuntu automount: only mounting drives as root?

  I'm sharing the /mount dir with smb so users on my network can access use drives added to my linux box. Users are able to read files but not write, modify or delete files or directories. I'm using ubuntu 10.04 server edition with halevt installed for usb auto mounting. Afaik halevt is automounting the drives to /media/ but the drives are showing up as: drwxrwxr-x 1 root root 20480 2010-12-29 20:40 disk drwxrwxr-x 1 root root 24576 2010-12-21 17:20 Sparta mount gives me: /dev/sda1 on /boot type ext2 (rw) /dev/sdb1 on /media/disk type fuseblk (rw,nosuid,nodev,sync,allow_other,blksize=4096,default_permissions) /dev/sdc1 on /media/Sparta type fuseblk (rw,nosuid,nodev,sync,allow_other,blksize=4096,default_permissions) When I umount the drives, the folders /media/disk and /media/Sparta are both removed. I tried changing the permissions with chown to nobody:nogroup but it doesn't work (which I assume is because they are ntfs drives).
