• Little help with some (simple) Javascript code

  I'm a newb when it comes to javascript. Perhaps somebody could help me with this. I assume it is not very complicated.   I have a site that is using Forms Auth. The client does not want the site session to expire at all for users. This solution was working for a while on our servers - now it's back. The problem doesn't occur on my local dev box running Cassini in VS2008. Any ideas on how to fix this?

• POST variables to web server?

  Hello I've been trying several things from Google to POST data to a web server, but none of them work: I'm still stuck at how to convert the variables into the request, considering that the second variable is an SQL query so it has spaces. Does someone know the correct way to use a WebClient to POST data? I'd rather use WebClient because it requires less code than HttpWebRequest/HttpWebResponse. • Nested parsers in happy / infinite loop?

  I'm trying to write a parser for a simple markup language with happy. Currently, I'm having some issues with infinit loops and nested elements. My markup language basicly consists of two elements, one for "normal" text and one for bold/emphasized text. data Markup = MarkupText String | MarkupEmph [Markup] For example, a text like Foo *bar* should get parsed as [MarkupText "Foo ", MarkupEmph [MarkupText "bar"]]. Lexing of that example works fine, but the parsing it results in an infinite loop - and I can't see why. • Chrome not sending POST requests on localhost, Firefox works fine

  I have copied the simple Django forms example exactly, running on localhost. The basic contact form example should submit a POST request when you click the Submit button. I'm running Chrome on Mac Snow Leopard, and whenever I submit the form, the page simply reloads with an empty form: I can see from the runserver output that it's not sending a POST - instead it's sending a GET request. If I open the same page in Firefox on Mac Snow Leopard, and submit the form, I can see it's sending a POST request (as it should be). Looking at the source in Chrome, the form definitely says method="post". <form action="/contact/" method="post"> <p><label for="id_subject">Subject:</label> <input id="id_subject" type="text" name="subject" maxlength="100" /></p> <p><label for="id_message">Message:</label> <input type="text" name="message" id="id_message" /></p> <p><label for="id_sender">Sender:</label> <input type="text" name="sender" id="id_sender" /></p> <p><label for="id_cc_myself">Cc myself:</label> <input type="checkbox" name="cc_myself" id="id_cc_myself" /></p> <input type="submit" value="Submit" /> </form> External sites with POST forms seem to work OK in Chrome. • Strange layout behaviour

  I am a little bit confused. Here is an small web page. There are two main div-s: top and mainBlock. First contain image. The problem is that firebug shows that div#top's height is equal to 0 and because of that the next div mainBlock moves up. If I would delete this peace of code: div#logo{ float: left; } everything will start working fine and div#mainBlock will be below the div#top. Could you, please, explain me how it works and how to avoid this in proper way? I'm also using some HighChart pie charts. Those are rendered without any issues on all browsers. All of the demos on the HighStock Demo Gallery are working without problems.

• javascript .push() doesn't seem to work

  I am trying to use .push to put items into a javascript array. I have created a simplified piece of code.
