Cannot call method 'wsl_wordpress_social_login'

Hi I'm using a wordpress plugin to allow user to comment using facebook and twitter accounts. How can I alter an external variable from inside my AJAX?

I keep on having these same two problems. I have been trying to use Remy Sharp's wonderful tagSuggest plugin, and it works great. Until I try to use an AJAX call to get tags from my database. My setGlobalTags() works great, with my defined myTagList at the top of the function. What I want to do is set myTagList equal to the result from my AJAX. My problem is that I can neither call setGlobalTags() from inside my success or error functions, nor actually alter the original myTagList. Also, I keep on having this other issue as well. I keep this code in my Master page, and my AJAX returns 'success' on almost every page. I only (and always) get the error alert when I navigate to a page that actually contains something of id="ParentTags". I don't see why this is happening, because my $('#ParentTags').tagSuggest(); is definitely after my AJAX call. I realize that this is probably just some dumb conventions error, but I am new to this and I'm here to learn from you guys. I want to know how can I check first if the HREF attribute for a given ANCHOR contains the query string "page" case sensitive, and if it exists return its number the value after page= Please give me a straightforward example on this, much appreciated. :)

lots of backbone views - performance issues?

tl;dr: I wonder if having lots (100+ for the moment, potentially up to 1000/2000 or more) of backbone views (as a cell of a table) is too heavy or not The project I'm working on revolves around a planning view. There one row per user that covers 6 hours of a day, each hour splitted in 4 slots of 15mn. This planning is used to add "reservations" when clicking on a slot, and should handle hovering of the correct slots, and also handle when it is NOT possible to make a reservation - ie. prevent user click on an "unavailable" slot. There is many reasons why a slot can't be clicked on: the user is not available at this time, or the user is in a reservation; or the app needs to "force" a delay slot between two reservations. Reservations (a div) are rendered in a slot (a cell of a table), and by toying with dimensions, hovers the right number of slots. All this screen is handled with backbone. So For each slot I'm hovering on, I need to check wether I can do a reservation here or not. As of this moment, I use this by toying with the data attributes on the slots : when a reservation object is added, the slots covered are "enhanced with (among others) the reservation object (the backbone view object). But in some cases I don't quite have a grasp on now, it mixes up, and when the reservation view is removed, the slots are not "cleaned up" : the previous class is not reset correctly. It is probably something I've done wrong or badly, but this is only going to get heavier; I think I should use another class of Backbone views here, but I'm afraid the number of slots and thereof of views objects will be high and cause performance issue. I don't know mush about js perf so I'd like to have some feedback before jumping on that train. Any other advice on how to do this would be quite welcomed too. Thanks for your time. Hi I've got a link on the web page that causes new browser window (tab) to be opened when it's clicked, like this: <a id="lnkNewWindow" target="_blank" href="http://google.com">Open window</a> I want to be able to track the window that will be created after this link is clicked. I'd like to perform some actions after the new window is closed. Is there any way to do this (preferably using jQuery)?

control + enter in browser takes only .com?

I have this strange problem, how exactly does control + enter decides the domain of a website?? If i type stackoverflow,then hit control+enter, it works and takes to homepage, but i type ubuntuforums, then hit control + enter, it does not recognise its ubuntuforums.org, but goes to ubuntuforums.com?? How does this exactly work? If i need to change this behaviour, how should i do it?

Missunderstanding js variables

I have a little problem: slideHelpers.total = 4 for (i=1;i <= slideHelpers.total; i++) { $('<a href="#">' + i + '</a>').bind('click', function(){ alert('go to the ' + i + ' slide')}).appendTo('.slideaccess') } the alert gives out 5 what is logic, because when the function click triggers i is actually 5. But i would like to have the same i as in my <a> tag. What is the best way to handle this? I could put i in the data() of the <a> tag for example but i am sure there is a easier way.

I am using jQuery cycle in several galleries with #next #prev navigation and a image counter output. Now I am trying to connect all these galleries together. If the user reaches the final slide of gallery A (galleryA.html), the #next anchor should point to gallery B (galleryB.html) / the #prev anchor should point to gallery C (galleryC.html). JScript JSON Object Check

I'm trying to check if json[0]['DATA']['name'][0]['DATA']['first_0'] exists or not when in some instances json[0]['DATA']['name'] contains nothing. I can check json[0]['DATA']['name'] using if (json[0]['DATA']['name'] == '') { // DOES NOT EXIST } however if (json[0]['DATA']['name'][0]['DATA']['first_0'] == '' || json[0]['DATA']['name'][0]['DATA']['first_0'] == 'undefined') { // DOES NOT EXIST } returns json[0]['DATA']['name'][0]['DATA'] is null or not an object. I understand this is because the array 'name' doesn't contain anything in this case, but in other cases first_0 does exist and json[0]['DATA']['name'] does return a value. How get <body> element from the html which one have as a string

Hello! I have a stupid problem. An jQuery.ajax request return me a full HTML text as a string. I receive such response in an case of error on the server. The server give me an error description which I want to place inside of the corresponding place of my current page. So now the question: I have a string contains full HTML document (which is not an XML!!! see <hr> element inside). I need to have for example only BODY part as a jQuery object. Then I could append it to the corresponding part of my page. jQuery if checkbox is checked to toggle classes

I am needed to change my jQuery code up. Instead of the label toggling the class and showing the icon I need it to where if the checkbox is checked to show to toggle those classes. I have tried prop and is but I couldn't get them to work properly. The reason for the change is I want to preload data into the form and if it's going to be checked those toggles need to reflect that change. http://jsfiddle.net/70fbLooL/2/ EDIT Seems to be confusion as to exactly what I am trying to do. The fiddle I provided works perfectly fine. The problem is if I want to call the form from server-side and pre-populate the form the checkbox toggles will not show that they are checked because it's based on the clicked function. I need it to be based on if the checkbox equal true or checked. That way if the value equals true from the server-side call it will toggle those classes and look like it's checked.

Align col in a bootstrap collapsable menu

I got my hands on bootstrap recently and I'm still discovering it. I made collapsable menu from a tutorial online but now that I want to had an image on each entry of my menu that I wasn't expecting. I want my image to be always aligned to the text in the menu but it still getting on top of it. I tried to remove row and col tag and forget about the responsiveness of my menu but it still doesn't work... InnerHTML while alerting it alerts with double quotes in firefox but not in IE.

Hi, I make innerHTML to get data and store it in database. When i tried in firefox it is coming proper with quotes(" or ') for attributes. But in IE i am not getting the quotes(" or ') for attributes. Is this a browser issue? Any answer for this. Thanks

Hi, i have the following code to update a google map: function updateit(c1,c2){ alert(c1+"-"+c2); // This works map.setCenter(new GLatLng(c1, c2), 13); // But this doesn't } updateit(37.4419, -122.1419); The alert is working and show the two coordinations, but i think the GLatLng() doesn't receive them, so the map is not updated unless i directly declare them as strings : function updateit(c1,c2){ map.setCenter(new GLatLng(37.4419, -122.1419), 13); // This works } How to fix this problem? Problems with row height in table with expand /collapse in IE

I have ten rows in my table. All the even rows are hidden by default. The odd rows have a 'plus' icon in the first cell. The plus to be clicked to see the next even row in the table. Clicking the icon again will hide the row again. I do this with simple jquery hide and show methods. The problem with this in IE is whenever I expand and a row and then close it, the border of the row which was expanded stays in the page itself and does not clear. This makes the pages look awkward in IE. I don't face this issue in FF. My friend here suspects this has something to do with the cell height. Im not sure if that is so. So please help me fix this.
