Where i can see half as root view in redColor and half as the subview in greenColor.I have also overrided the ShouldAutoRotate method and done this project programmatically. Please do reply me.

That is, since I have 16 columns, each row should be prefixed something like this: 0000 [00 01 02 .... 0F] 0010 [10 11 12 .... 1F] 0020 [20 21 22 .... 2F] ... Any suggestions?

    I have a listlayout with items in it that looks like this: There is firs an ImageView (the light) and then two textViews. All of this inside a TableLayout. (source here: http://code.google.com/p/switchctrl/source/browse/trunk/android/res/layout/device_switch.xml) I want to have a rotating animation of a loading indicator Ontop of this light when this particular device (light) performs an action or an action is performed on it. How do I put an animation ontop of this light imageview?

  • Make Custom Project template in Eclipse IDE

    I have been using Eclipse IDE for a long time. Its a really great IDE for Java/C/C++ (and other languages with its THOUSANDS of plugins). Every once in a while, I get the need for creating a Javax interface. To do this normally, I would setup the new java project then add what I need. But, wouldn't it be nice if I could just make a template project to automatically include the code for the files. How would I go about doing this? It it even possible? The Eclipse CDT can make a new project type. So can the Google ADT and Google App engine. So I would imagine it is possible. But how?

    Does anyone know of a widget that displays 2 select boxes. One shows a list of all object in a model and the other shows the objects which have been selected. The user can then select an object from the first list, click an button which moves it to the 'selected' list.     I am trying to make an asp.net website using Visual web dev and C# that accesses data in an SQL database. For my site, I need to be able to save and access additional user properties such as age and gender. I have been playing around with the built in .NET Login tools but I don't understand how to keep track of the additional properties (age, gender...) I could store all the users information in my own database but how do I correlate the users data in my DB to the usernames in the member database that is automatically created?

    Hi guys, I've built a simple membership based website for a client - the client would like a forum integrated such that whenever a user registers on the membership site a corresponding account is created on the forums end as well etc. I checked out simple machines forums and phpBB - however I'mn not sure as to how to get this implemented. A push in the right direction would be a great help... or is there any other forum that can be easily used.

    I'm trying to perform a usort on an array inside an instance of a class. But the sort is dependent on the properties of said instance. Code (which doesn't work): class foo { private $array; private $key; private $dir; function sort() { usort($this->array, array("foo", "orderArray")); } function orderArray($a, $b) { return strcmp($a[$this->key], $b[$this->key]) * $this->dir; } } From the orderArray class, you can't access $key or $dir. The question is, how can I write this so I can?

    I need some guidance on how to add a validation method to the jquery validate plugin. I've gathered that i need to use the plugin's addMethod() function, but how exactly to have it do what i need... Here i am! My form 's first question is a radio input choice. Each radio input, if selected, shows a sub-question of several checkboxes. What i would like my validation to do is: - make sure one radio input is selected - make sure at least one checkbox pertaining to the radio input is selected. Basically, out of the validate plugin's own logic, i would count the selector's length, and if there isn't any, return the error message. Something like this: var weekSelected = ($('input.seasonSelector:checked input.weekSelector:checked',form).length > 0); if(!weekSelected){ return 'Please select a week inside that season'; } How to turn that into a validate plugin method ?

  • Get error with connect to server “Trust anchor for certification path not found.”

    I wrote code in android for connecting to server with ssl, I use BKS algorithm, I can create socket but when I send data to switch, I get this error javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: Trust anchor for certification path not found. It is wonderful for me, I can connect to another server in local network with another BKS file and I can get response from that server, but with correct certificate in outside network, I cannot connect to another server, is it possible with network problem? I just haven't found anything that clearly demonstrates this scenario and how to code for it - and when I try to learn the whole .NET configuration world my brain starts to hurt. Anyone have some code like what I'm looking for that they can share?

    Using GoDaddy to host my site (I know that's my first problem)! :-) Trying to setup customer error messages for my site. GoDaddy allows you to setup a 404 in their control panel, but I can't override this, or setup any additional error redirects, specifically a 500-server error. For the backend, we have our own python API which handles all transactions with multiple databases. What is the best way to hook up the front-end with the back-end. AFAIK django is pretty monolithic (correct me if i am wrong) and it would be cumbersome if I dont use its native ORM...I would prefer a python-based solution..any ideas? thanks! Suvir

  • Custom ValidationAttribute test against whole model

    I know this is probably not possible but let's say I have a model with two properties. I write a ValidationAttribute for one of the properties. Can that VA look at the other property and make a decision? So; public class QuickQuote { public String state { get; set; } [MyRequiredValidator(ErrorMessage = "Error msg")] public String familyType { get; set; } So in the above example, can the validator test to see what's in the "state" property and take that into consideration when validating "familyType"? I know I can probably save the object to the session but would like to avoid any saving of state if possible.

    I have a Scintilla control that I create in C#, and the syntax highlighting doesn't work.
