  Hello, Im trying to find a regular expression that matches this kind of URL: http://sub.domain.com/selector/F/13/K/100546/sampletext/654654/K/sampletext_sampletext.html and dont match this: http://sub.domain.com/selector/F/13/K/10546/sampletext/5987/K/sample/K/101/sample_text.html only if the number of /K/ is minimum 1 and maximum 2 (something with a quantifier like {1,2}) Until this moment i have the following regexp: http://sub\.domain\.com/selector/F/[0-9]{1,2}/[a-z0-9_-]+/ Now i would need a hand to add any kind of condition like: Match this if in the text appears the /K/ from 1 to 2 times at most. • Fibonacci using SBN in OISC in Machine Language

  Hello, I want to generate fibonacci series using SBN in an OISC architecture. My initial approach is to implement it in assembly language first and then convert it to machine language. The first steps involve storing 0 and 1 in 2 registers and then subtract 1 from 0 and repeatedly subtract 1 in the consequent steps. Everytime it will generate a negative number and since its negative, it branches off and fetches the absolute value finding instruction. Is my approach correct? My confusion in the meaning of OISC. Correct me if i'm wrong, if i perform a subtraction and then an absolute value finding, it means that that i'm using 2 instructions everytime. or is it that in the OISC processor both these instructions are done at the sametime which would mean that my approach is correct.   Hello, I created a small app in C# that removes border and caption from window, then it sets size to the user's resolution and centers it. It's a utility for me to use when I want to play games in windowed mode without being annoyed by the borders. Everything works fine with most games, but I tried to use it on a recently released game Alpha Protocol and it doesn't work. I could almost say that the game reverts my changes, but I'm not sure how to tell if that's true or not. I'm using imported API functions MoveWindow, SetWindowLong and SetWindowPos. • this.optional() in jQuery validation method doesn't seem to work

  Hello, I've got a little problem here. I've got the following rule for one of my fields: StartDate: { required: isDelayed, dateRU: true } isDelayed() returns false, so I guess StartDate field should be optional. However if I check it inside my dateRU method: $.validator.addMethod( "dateRU", function(value, element) { return this.optional(element) || isValidDate($.trim(value)); }, "Date is incorrect" ); this.optional(element) always returns false for StartDate. I can't figure out what's wrong. Any ideas? UPD. Does optional() returns true only if element is not required AND IS EMPTY? 'Cause that may be my problem.

• Dynamically created image doesn't show when <img>'s src is refreshed to point to it

  Hello, I have a javascript function generateGraph() { ... jQuery.get('chart.php?month='+month+'&year='+year); document.getElementById('graph').src = 'charts/'+month+'_'+year+'.png'; ... } which is called onChange. It basically creates, if not exists, or refreshes if already exists, a PNG image (using the first line above) and supposedly displays the generated image (using the second line above). The first line works, but the second one doesn't. Meaning, the image is generated, but the second line can't display the image, unless the page is reloaded, or if the image being referred to already existed before the page was loaded (meaning the 1st line just "refreshed" the image) Any ideas as to why this is and how to fix it? • SQL Encryption - Asymmetric Key - 2nd Server

  Hello, I created an asymmetric key on one of my SQL servers (2008). I encrypted a password field and I am able to retrieve that password just fine on my development server. The issue comes into play where I need to move this data to a production server. Here is the code for the key that was created: CREATE MASTER KEY ENCRYPTION BY PASSWORD='#########' CREATE ASYMMETRIC KEY UserEncryptionKey WITH ALGORITHM = RSA_2048 Now, when I run this on the production server, it creates the key just fine. However, when I run my sproc to get the password, it returns NULL. SQL: SELECT EncryptByAsymKey(AsymKey_ID('UserEncryptionKey'), Password ) FROM Users WHERE UserName = '######' Any thoughts on what I need to do to get the encrypted field to work on multiple SQL Servers? Please let me know if I need to clarify something. Thanks

• Failing to send key presses to a running process in C#

I'm trying to get an array of (9) numbers squared then printed but I keep coming back with only one result - the number of numbers in the array squared- obviously not what I want. • Outputting variable values in x86?

  Hello All- I'm working on a homework assignment in x86 and it isn't working as I expect (surprise surprise!). I'd like to be able to output values of variables in x86 functions to ensure that the values are what I expect them to be. Is there a simple way to do this, or is it very complex? For what it's worth, the x86 functions are being used by a C file and compiled with gcc, so if that makes it simpler that is how I'm going about it. Thanks for the help.

• Code jumps out of a jar and runs? What is causing this?

  I am trying to get a sample program working with JUNG, a graphing tool in Java. I downloaded and referenced all the .jar files in eclipse so my project hierarchy looks like this: In Test.java I have the following code: public class Test { static public void main() { System.out.print("Hello"); }} For some reason though when I try to run it as a Java Application by right clicking on Jung test in the project hierarchy I am presented with a bunch of classes. My Test.java isn't on the list so if I just leave it as ** and press ok it starts running a program that is dynamically adding nodes and vertexes to a graph. I can't seem to figure out what code its actually executing. I know java but stuff like this with the jar files seems to be getting lost on me. Any ideas? Thanks

• Can a variable bu used 2nd time after releasing it?

  Hello, I try to understand the memory management in ObjectiveC and still some things are a misery for me. I've got an instance variable: NSMutableArray *postResultsArray; when a button is clicked in the UI I create new array: self.postResultsArray = [NSMutableArray array]; then I add some objects to the array and when the whole operation is done I would like to release the array: [self.postResultsArray release]; (I assume that all the objects stoed in the array will be released along with the array). The problem appears when I click the button again and in the code I want to create the array again with: self.postResultsArray = [NSMutableArray array]; I get: [CFArray release]: message sent to deallocated instance 0x3d9e390 Can't I initialize the same instance variable for the second time? or maybe I should not release it? and if so, why? Plus i was wondering, how to avoid multiples entries for the same seller. Imagine you have multiple offers with a price <= 20 with the option FullFTP for the same seller, i don't want him to be shown 5 times on the comparator. If you have any advices ;) Thanks

  Hello, I've been searching for a while and browsing through the samples but could not find a solution to my problem. In Microsoft Chart Control I have created a line series that plots real-time data. As new data points are added, the chart margins will sometimes jump on the form. I have tried disabling the grid lines and have determined that the margins change when the x-axis label overlaps with the y-axis label. I have tried auto-fitting the labels but that does not seem to work probably because it treat x-axis and y-axis separately. Is there any way to prevent the overlap, or keep the labels and corresponding grid lines stationery and just change their value when the data scrolls? Thank you for your help.

  Hello, I have some data that I export into an XML file and put in a remote FTP Server. I have to identified each object with a unique attribute, it doesn't matter wich is, but must be persistent always = it can never change. I don't want to create a unique attribute, sequence, serial, etc. I'm using the objectID but every time I use it a get a new reference. I know that before the object has been saved, it has a 'temporal id', but once it's saved, it gets the definitive. I'm not seeing this, never. • Keyboard event issue

  Hello guys! I have to capture the following keyboard event in a TextBox - SHIFT + 8(on the numpad). This also means the NumLock will be on. When I try the following, nothing is printed: private void textBox1_KeyDown(object sender, KeyEventArgs e) { if (e.Shift && e.KeyCode == Keys.NumPad8) Console.WriteLine("SHIFT + UP"); } But CTRL + 8(on the numpad) is working. private void textBox1_KeyDown(object sender, KeyEventArgs e) { if (e.Control && e.KeyCode == Keys.NumPad8) Console.WriteLine("CTRL + UP"); } Could someone explain me, why SHIFT + 8 isn't fired, but CTRL + 8 is working? P.S. I wrote + UP, because the user wants to navigate with the numpad arrows and the SHIFT key, but his NumLock will also be on. That's why I catch Keys.NumPad8. All the best, Petar

• ria entity remove bug

  hello, I am trying out the ria services and I am experiencing this problem that seems very strange to me. I am creating a new entity of type "House" and add it to context without saving the context so the id of the new entity is 0, after i remove this entity and add another new entity of type "House" again and again without saving the context, here comes the weird part, now I have an entity of type "City" which holds entityset of all "Houses" in that city, so to put the newly created entity "House" into the city i do something like this - house.City = city, where house is type "House" and city is type "City", afte this step a check the context and suddenly there are 2 entities of type "House" with id 0, one of them is the one I have deleted at the beginning. Any idea what is causing this and how to fix it?? thank you Greg

• Android: Saving custom button and spinner

  Hello All, I am new to Android programming and was handed a fairly large program that is almost complete, but needed support for switching between portrait and landscape view. I added android:configChanges="keyboardHidden|orientation" to the manifest and used onConfigurationChanged to save the view data and that works. However, there is a button that displays the date selected (when pressed a calendar to select the date comes up) and a spinner that displays the current view and is used to select a new view. Those two items are being cleared/reset and do not work at all after the screen flip. I have been attempting to use onSaveInstanceState and onRestoreInstanceState to fix that, but I cannot figure out how to get it to work. Any advice?

  Hello all, I'm sure I'm missing something very simple, but let's say I have two entities, Employee and EmployeeType. Employee type would contain values like 'Full time', 'Contractor', 'Intern', etc. An Employee entity would contain one, and only one EmployeeType value. So I am designing a new .edmx model using the Model-First approach and generating my actual sql server data schema from the model. I want to add an integer type foreign key id into my Employee entity, EmployeeTypeId, which will map to the primary key of the EmployeeType entity. So I've gone ahead and done that in my Employee entity. Where I'm stuck is how, though the Entity Framework designer, to enforce the 1:1 referential constraint on that EmployeeTypeId property? Or does the EF handle that automatically behind the scenes? thanks in advance, John

  Hello, I'm executing sql query on my database. I have SQL Server 2008 installed on my D harddrive which has 55 GB free space. I have also C drive which has sth like 150 MB free (right now). While executing that query on quite a big table (16 GB) I have an error: An error occurred while executing batch. Error message is: Not enough disk space. I would like to know if there is any possibility that I can make SQL Server to use D drive instead of C Or maybe there is any other problem with what I'm doing ? Thanks for help

  Hello fellow programmers. Im a pretty experienced programmer in PHP and mainly web languages but today i have decided i want to start to learn a new language! Im only 21 and I feel as I will never make it in the programming industry without a great set of languages under my belt, So i decided to have a look at C#.
