• Is it possible to use P4Python API with IronPython?

  Is it possible to use P4Python (the perforce python api) with IronPython? I'd like to use the python api because it seems much faster than using p4.net implementionat of a Perforce API but when I try to import p4 into IronPython I receive the following error. • About the armlink behavior when the linked object is not explicitly used by the main executable

  I want to link the example with liba.so, and also the example is NOT using anything inside the liba.so ... armlink --userlibpath /mylib/lib liba.so --fpic --shared -o example main.o demo.o So finally I got nothing from: readelf -d example | grep NEEDED, it seems that armlink do some optimization to remove the linked library which is not really used by the "example" ? If I want to let the liba.so be always linked into example, what need I do with armlink options ? Any information is very appreciated ;)

  In my project,I will get the coordinates of some points from an XML file,and create some visual components using this information ? I am planning to give these components to a Java swing frame or panel. However,The users are supposed to click on the figure(which I will construct using Graphics 2d libraries) and select two points and give a label to the points between those two points ? • Is there a command-line tool that could tell me if Gzip is really on beyond the Gzip 1 header param?

  Is there a command-line tool that could tell me if Gzip is on? What I'm looking for is something that can say the stream coming from the server is really gzipped even if the header params say Gzip:1 (which it could be falsely placing in the headers). I don't see a switch in curl, or wget, or tcpdump, or anything, but maybe I'm just missing something, or perhaps there is something else that could provide me this bit of information? Any help would be appreciated.

  Under the application settings page in the Administration console, it is possible to specify a name for the application, AFAIK this is used in the login page when using the users API to login. I would like to be able to use this information within an application, currently, the title is also specified in a separate configuration file, but configuration repetition is something I would like to avoid if at all possible. Is there some way for a GAE application to determine the "Application Title"? Oh, also, I am using python.

  Hi, I have an assembly and want to restrict the assemblies and applications that can call/use this assemblies functionality. Can anyone provide detailed information on how this can be achieved ? From what I have read on the internet this is not possible because any "fully trusted" assembly will automatically be granted access. I am using .NET 2.0 and 3.5 and the solution needs to be compatible with both versions of the framework. Thanks in advance ;-)

  I wrote a wrapper DLL for some native c++ functions and compiled it in c++/CLI, then I added a reference to C# project, functions indicates there, but when I try compile project I get this error: "Additional information: Could not load file or assembly 'lib, Version=1.0.3742.39593, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. " What's the problem ? Thanks.
