  I am trying to read certain values from a json string in php, I am able to do a simple json string with only one value such as $json = '{"value":"somevalue"}'; Using this: <?php $json = '{"value":"somevalue"}'; $obj = json_decode(json_encode($json)); print $obj->{'value'}; ?> But when i try an get a value from the following json string it throws an error... $json = '{"field": "title","rule": {"required": "true","minlength": "4","maxlength": "150" }}'; I validated the json on JSONlint but not sure how to access the values within this with php. My requirement is additionally pass the registry path as parameter, so when a launch happens (note no change in the launch) iexplore <<"URL String" should translate into something like iexplore <<"URL String" "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\http\shell\open\command\" How should my registry key HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\http\shell\open\command\ modified so as to get the extra registry path appended for all shell launches ?   I have model Article it has field title with some text that may contain some "magic" patterns. In some cases i need to process text in title and other cases i don't, but in last case i need to get string w/o that patterns. For example i have title value like "Something **very** interesting" and when i call @article.title i need to get cleaned up string like "Something very interesting", but when i call @article.title_raw i need get original string. The problem also is that i have working application and i cannt do "revolution" but what way to go... -- Excuse me for my bad English.

  For the life of me, I can't understand why adding a concatenated string to the MainScreen is causing the BB simulator to throw an exception. If I run a VERY simple hello program with the following control, all is well: RichTextField rtfHello = new RichTextField("Hello There !!!"); add(rtfItemDescription); But if I add a concatenated string, the entire app breaks: String MyName = "John Doe"; RichTextField rtfHello = new RichTextField("Hello There !!!" + MyName); add(rtfItemDescription); So what am I doing wrong? Why would the simulator throw an exception for the second example?

  I cannot read and write extended characters (French accented characters, for example) to a text file using the standard InputStreamReader methods shown in the Android API examples. When I read back the file using: InputStreamReader tmp = new InputStreamReader(in); BufferedReader reader = new BufferedReader(tmp); String str; while ((str = reader.readLine()) != null) { ... the string read is truncated at the extended characters instead of at the end-of-line. The second half of the string then comes on the next line. I'm assuming that I need to persist my data as UTF-8 but I cannot find any examples of that, and I'm new to Java. Can anyone provide me with an example or a link to relevant documentation?

So my question is how do I convert this file path into single "\"? To clarify more, this is my code in context. • Get DataGridView checkbox cell value?

  Hello guys. I'm having a strange issue here. I have a 3 column datagrid that is filled by a connection with the database. So far so good. I have an extra column, of checkbox type. I need to get it's value for perfoming a bulk operation on it. Here is the catch: When all cells are selected, it works fine. But when an user selects any cell that its not the first, software gives me a object reference exception. Here is the code public List<String> GetSelected() { List<String> selected = new List<String>(); foreach(DataGridViewRow row in datagrid.rows) { if ((Boolean)row.Cells[wantedCell].Value == true) { selected.Add(row.Cells[anotherCell]); } } } I tracked down the failure to the if-test, throwing a exception, because the value of the cell is read as null.   I am creating an application that can be executed in any windows version, even in mobile's, and I am trying to get the current directory of the executable. The problem is that if I use the following code, it doesn't compile in Windows Mobile: string currentDirectory = System.IO.Path.GetDirectoryName(System.Windows.Forms.Application.ExecutablePath); And if I use this code, I receive something like: file:\C:\xxx string currentDirectory = System.IO.Path.GetDirectoryName(System.Windows.Forms.Application.ExecutablePath); Although, I need to get the root drive, and this code doesn't compile in Windows Mobile: String rootPath = Path.GetPathRoot(Environment.SystemDirectory); Does anyone know how to get the current directory of the application and the root path for any windows version, even mobile's?

Not just those that are not expired yet. Can anyone help me? Thanks Oh, changing < to > returns no pastes, not even the non-expired ones :(

However, having logged in as the users myself, the messages cannot be found either through searching or by browsing the folder detailed in the log entry. The server returns the following error to the client: "The message could not be retrieved using the IMAP4 protocol. The message has not been deleted and may be accessible using either Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access. You can also try contacting the original sender of the message to find out about the contents of the message. Retrieval of this message will be retried when the server is updated with a fix that addresses the problem." Messages were transferred in to Exchange by copying them from the old Apple Xserve, accessed using IMAP. So my question, finally: 1. Is there any way to get the IMAP Exchange connector to rebuild its cache of messages since it doesn't seem to be pulling them directly from the MAPI store? 2. Alternatively, if there is no database, any ideas on why these messages don't appear in Outlook or OWA would be gratefully received. Many thanks, Mike

• Why does my regex fail when the number ends in 0?

  This is a really basic regex question but since I can't seem to figure out why the match is failing in certain circumstances I figured I'd post it to see if anyone else can point out what I'm missing. I'm trying to pull out the 2 sets of digits from strings of the form: 12309123098_102938120938120938 1321312_103810312032123 123123123_10983094854905490 38293827_1293120938129308 I'm using the following code to process each string: if($string && $string =~ /^(\d)+_(\d)+$/) { if(IsInteger($1) && IsInteger($2)) { print "success ('$1','$2')"; } else { print "fail"; } } Where the IsInterger() function is as follows: sub IsInteger { my $integer = shift; if($integer && $integer =~ /^\d+$/) { return 1; } return; } This function seems to work most of the time but fails on the following for some reason: 1287123437_1268098784380 1287123437_1267589971660 Any ideas on why these fail while others succeed?   If I have a class like this: class A { public string fe = "A"; } And a class that inherits from it like so: class B : A { public string fe = "B"; } Visual C++ will tell me that B.fe hides A.fe so I should use the new keyword. So I change class B to look like: class B : A { public new string fe = "B"; } And then I have a function that takes an A (but, by virtue of inheritance, will also take a B) like this: class D { public static void blah(A anAObject) { Console.Writeline(A.fe); } } Even when I pass it an instance of a B object, which it will take without question, it will print "A"! Why is this, and how can I make it work how I want without setting the variable in the constructor?
