  • Binding one dependency property to another

    I have a custom Tab Control that I have created, but I am having an issue. I have an Editable TextBox as part of the custom TabControl View. <Controls:EditableTextControl x:Name="PageTypeName" Style="{StaticResource ResourceKey={x:Type Controls:EditableTextControl}}" Grid.Row="0" TabIndex="0" Uid="0" AutomationProperties.AutomationId="PageTypeNameTextBox" AutomationProperties.Name="PageTypeName" Visibility="{Binding ElementName=PageTabControl,Path=ShowPageType}"> <Controls:EditableTextControl.ContextMenu> <ContextMenu x:Name="TabContextMenu"> <MenuItem Header="Rename Page Type" Command="{Binding Path=PlacementTarget.EnterEditMode, RelativeSource={RelativeSource AncestorType=ContextMenu}}" AutomationProperties.AutomationId="RenamePageTypeMenuItem" AutomationProperties.Name="RenamePageType"/> <MenuItem Header="Delete Page Type" Command="{Binding Path=PageTypeDeletedCommand}" AutomationProperties.AutomationId="DeletePageTypeMenuItem" AutomationProperties.Name="DeletePageType"/> </ContextMenu> </Controls:EditableTextControl.ContextMenu> <Controls:EditableTextControl.Content> <!--<Binding Path="CurrentPageTypeViewModel.Name" Mode="TwoWay"/>--> <Binding ElementName="PageTabControl" Path="CurrentPageTypeName" Mode ="TwoWay"/> </Controls:EditableTextControl.Content> </Controls:EditableTextControl> In the Content section I am binding to a Dependency Prop called CurrentPageTypeName. It is grabbing its Content from the Itemsource, and not from my chained Dependency props. Is what I am trying even possible? If so, what have I done wrong. Thanks for looking.

In a standard Win32 EDIT control I could achieve this with ES_NOHIDESEL. How can I get the equivalent in WPF?

In several places I found descriptions like this: "What’s special about I/O actions is that if they fall into the main function, they are performed." When uploading, there is link like this: www.****.com/dashboard/tiny_mce/plugins/tinybrowser/tinybrowser.php?type=image This link can open in all browser without permission. What is the solution in this case? Could I use admin panel's session control in tinyMce plugins?? Thanks in advance

  • How do I stop Opera from caching a page?

    I am trying to get Opera to re-request a page every time instead of just serving it from the cache. I'm sending the 'Cache-control=no-cache' and 'Pragma: no-cache' response headers but it seems as if Opera is just ignoring these headers. It works fine in other browsers - Chrome, IE, Firefox. How do I stop Opera from caching pages? What I want to be able to do is have Opera re-request a page when the user clicks the Back button on the browser.
