  • restoring with mysqldump, but where is the data?

    Ok, so I'm in need to restore a table and I do: mysqldump --opt database table_name < table_name.sql I hit enter and Done! Well, not really, when I go to see if there is anything on the table it show 0 records. I have look into the table_name.sql and I see two records. What am I doing wrong?

    I have a multi-dimensional array that looks like this: The base array is indexed based on category ids from my catalog. $categories[category_id] Each base array has two underlying elements: ['parent_category_id'] ['sort_order'] I want to create a function that allows us to create a list of categories for a given parent_category_id in the correct sort order. Is this possible? Technically it is the same information, but the array is constructed in a weird way to extract that information.

    I'm implementing Bagwell's Ideal Hash Trie in Haskell. To find an element in a sub-trie, he says to do the following: Finding the arc for a symbol s, requires ?nding its corresponding bit in the bit map and then counting the one bits below it in the map to compute an index into the ordered sub-trie. What is the best way to do this? It sounds like the most straightforward way of doing this is to select the bits below that bit and do a population count on the resulting number. Is there a faster or better way to do this?

    Dear all, I have written up two functions (pseudo code) for calculation the number of nodes and the tree height of a Binary Tree,given the root of the tree. Most importantly,the Binary Tree is represented as the First chiled/next sibling format. so struct TreeNode { Object element; TreeNode *firstChild; TreeNode *nextSibling; } Calculate the # of nodes: public int countNode(TreeNode root) { int count=0; while(root!=null) { root= root.firstChild; count++; } return count; } public int countHeight(TreeNode root) { int height=0; while(root!=null) { root= root.nextSibling; height++; } return height; } This is one of the problem I saw on an algorithm book,and my solution above seems to have some problems,also I didn't quite get the points of using this First Child/right sibling representation of Binary Tree,could you guys give me some idea and feedback,please?   • Passing User Data with SetTimer

    I am calling SetTimer in a function of a Class. SetTimer(NULL, 0, 10000, (TIMERPROC) TimerCallBack); Where TimerCallBack is: static VOID CALLBACK TimerCallBack(HWND, UINT, UINT, DWORD) Now my need is to call one of the method of class which initiated timer, since TimerCallBack is static it has no access to the class object anymore. I cant find any way to pass object pointer along with the SetTimer so that I can receive it back on Callback function. Is there any other way to achieve this, if its not supported using SetTimer then which other way I can implement this.

So if I search Faction=Blahdiddly Group 1 & 3 will come up. I unfortunately have NO idea how to do this. Can anyone help?

    Hi, I found this article (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb967663.aspx) and thought great thats exactly what I'm trying to do. I want to programatically build a product brochure using content controls and openXML. The article in question refers to an accompanying video which unfortunately does not appear to be available, nor does the code. I posted a comment to ask where they are but in the meantime does anybody know of a good example. There are plenty of examples of binding/merging one record into a openXML Word document. But I want to bind a whole list of records to create a product brochure. Can anyone point me to good tutorial? Thanks
