    i have 2 tables in access this is what i need: 1. if the PK from table1 exists in table2, then delete the entire record with that PK from table2 and add the entire record from table1 into table2 2. if the PK does not exist then add the record i need help with both the sql statement and the VBA i guess the VBA should be a loop, going through every record in table1. inside the loop i should have the select statement

  • How can a button click method find out which item is selected in a ListView?

    I have a single screen with a bank of buttons below a ListView. Entries on the ListView light up in orange when I scroll so I assume that are selected. When I then press the "Delete" button I want the onClickListener to remove the currently selected entry. But getSelectedItemPosition() always gives me -1. If I can't hope to use the GUI controls in this way, please give me another way of getting the same result. I have even tried setting the onClickListener of the List View to store the index before the button is pressed (in case pressing the button unselects the entry) but even that is always -1 it seems. When I create a New web Application it has References folder but when I add new .aspx file it also adds .aspx.designer.cs file with it and its does not show master page option in add dialogue. but in the old web application it shows the master page option where master page file is already added. whats the difference between these two solutions.

    Given the schema: What I need is having every user_identities.belongs_to reference an users.id. At the same time, every users has a primary_identity as shown in the picture. However when I try to add this reference with ON DELETE NO ACTION ON UPDATE NO ACTION, MySQL says #1452 - Cannot add or update a child row: a foreign key constraint fails (yap.#sql-a3b_1bf, CONSTRAINT #sql-a3b_1bf_ibfk_1 FOREIGN KEY (belongs_to) REFERENCES users (id) ON DELETE NO ACTION ON UPDATE NO ACTION) I suspect this is due to the circular dependency, but how could I solve it (and maintain referential integrity)?

I right clicked SERVERS, Add Server..., then noticed there is no option for httpd.exe, just for Glashfiish, JBoss, Apache Tomcat, and some other servers.     When I invoke add() on a tarfile object with a file path, the file is added to the tarball with directory hiearchy associated .In other words, if I unzip the tarfile the directories in the original dir hiearchy are reproduced. Is there a way to simply add a plainfile without directory info that untarring the resulting tarball produce a flat list of files?

    Here's my recent submission for the FB programming contest (qualifying round only requires to upload program output so source code doesn't matter). The objective is to find two squares that add up to a given value. I've left it as it is as an example. It does the job but is too slow for my liking. Here's the points that are obviously eating up time: List of squares is being recalculated for each call of getNumOfDoubleSquares(). This could be precalculated or extended when needed. Both squares are being checked for when it is only necessary to check for one (complements). There might be a more efficient way than a double-nested loop to find pairs. Other suggestions? I use Search function to do this, but failed and generated incorrect records. It can not find the customer or the right number of customers. But if I use For..loop to iterate the list, it does well and can find the customer and add new customer in that for..loop search procedure. (I did not paste for ..loop search procedrue here).
