    Python has string.find() and string.rfind() to get the index of a substring in string. I wonder, maybe there is something like string.find_all() which can return all founded indexes (not only first from beginning or first from end)? For example: string = "test test test test" print string.find('test') # 0 print string.rfind('test') # 15 #that's the goal print string.find_all('test') # [0,5,10,15]

  • Can I use the SharePoint 2010 SQL Database through SharePoint from my App?

    I wonder if there is a supported way to access the SharePoint 2010 SQL Server through an API? I'm not talking about modifying any SharePoint Database directly (I know that that is still unsupported), but I'd like to store some data that my application needs, and instead of asking the user to enter a Connection String, I'd prefer to create my own database on the SQL Server that SharePoint uses. I think I could use the new Service Application stuff, but that seems a bit overkill?

  • Highlighting search words like Chrome with jQuery

    I have recently done a very simple highlighting with jQuery and a highlight plugin. It looks like this: $('myButton').click(function() { $('body').highlight($('#myInputText').val()); }); But I wonder how can I do the Chrome like highlighting, I mean highlight the letters whenever I type in some letter in textbox without submitting. I think maybe use a keyup event... Any ideas?

    I just wonder is there's any way to fire any event via IE's event-triggering implementation - fireEvent. I've tried to use it but failed with all event except click.     Hi, I am interested in getting the profiling of some number crunching program. I compiled it with -g and -pg options and linked it and got it gmon.out. After reading the info (plain text) it looks a bit ugly. I wonder if there are some open source tools for getting a graphical representation of the 10 functions where the program spends the most of the time as well as a flux diagram. Thanks

Am wonder is there a way to do lookup of two ndarray of different shapes? for example, i have 2 ndarrays as below: X = array([[0, 3, 6], [3, 3, 3], [6, 0, 3]]) Y = array([[0, 100], [3, 500], [6, 800]]) and would like to lookup each element of X in Y, then be able to return the second column of Y: Z = array([[100, 500, 800], [500, 500, 500], [800, 100, 500]]) thanks, fahhean
