  • c# clipboard viewer... on firefox the event fires twice..

    hi .. iam trying to use the code posted here http://stackoverflow.com/questions/621577/clipboard-event-c it does work really great, but while testing, i found out that when copying from some application as example firefox, you will get the event running twice, so if you are saving the copied text to a textfile, or writing them to a textbox in the application, the text copied from firefox will appear twice ? anybody can help me with this problem ? thanks a lot

I am trying to setup https for my website, I follow the offical instruction from amazon doc: http://docs.aws.amazon.com/elasticbeanstalk/latest/dg/configuring-https.html When I Upload a Signed Certificate using AWS command aws iam upload-server-certificate --server-certificate-name dichcumga --certificate-body file://mycert.pem --private-key file://signedkey.pem --certificate-chain file://mychain.pem And I got error A client error (MalformedCertificate) occurred when calling the UploadServerCert ificate operation: Certificate body is invalid. The body must not contain a private key. mycert.pem is a combination of private.pem and signedkey.pem (which return by VeriSign) copy private.pem+signedkey.pem mycert.pem Please help to shed a light.   • FTP timeout only the first time

    I'm using PureFTPd on MacOSX (Snow Leopard, not server version). When trying to access the FTP account from the outside via dyndns (e.g. using https://www.wormly.com/test_ftp_server) the connection always times out the FIRST time. When I try AGAIN in the next few seconds it works. What is this about? I have forwarded the ports to my apple router and tried disabling the OSX firewall as well. Thanks for any advice. Dennis

  • Which OS/distributions have 64-bit kernel and 32-bit userspace? [closed]

    Which OS (or distributions) comes with 64-bit kernels (x86_64, SPARC64, PPC64, ..smth else?..) and 32-bit userland? I want all small userspace programs (like ls, cat, etc) to be 32-bit, because they really no needs to be 64-bit. But OS kernel must be 64bit for using =3 Gb of RAM. Also database programs (when using a lot of memory) can be 64bit. 64bit mode can hurt some programs, makes them bigger, eating (wasting) memory on pointers (especially in big abstract datatypes like list, tree, etc). 64 bit programss WASTES twice memory on EACH Pointer. I don't want it. And the Question is not "Are the 32-bit programs needed when 64-bit porcessor is available". Question is "What OS comes with 32 bit userspace and kernels in 32/64 bit mode". Examples of such OS includes: Solaris/SPARC64, MACOSX/X86_64 (10.5)/....

    Basically, I want networked games to run poorly on a network, but I want everything else to run smoothly. I would also appreciate advice on blocking games in general. As far as I can tell, there's a few ways to completely prevent an internet game from running: Blocking entirely via DNS configuration (e.g. hosts file), or router DNS configuration Blocking entirely via a separate DNS server Blocking the application, by uninstalling or some kind of access control Blocking the application by automatically killing the process every once in a while Blocking the application by corrupting files periodically However, I would like a more subtle way to block a program. Something that either: Increases latency (would this be doable through some kind of QoS like what DD-WRT offers?) Increases latency by using a special routing configuration for specific target IPs Throttle other systems resources, such as memory, IO, or CPU Screw around with keyboard configurations when a game is launched I would like this to work on MacOSX and Windows, but Linux would be great too. FYI I don't have a kid, but I was brainstorming with some friends and parents.

  • Network keeps disconnecting - Repairing solves it. Router configuration

    My network connection keeps going insane, it will keep normal applications connected, like TeamViewer and MSN, but webpages will stop loading (Problem loading page). Everything looks connected and works like a charm, but webpages and new connections wont work. If I press "Repair" in the network connections to restart the adapter, it will work. This happens on WIRED and WIRELESS connections, both on Windows and on MacOSx. I have had this for years (different computers, routers, cities), but I never figured it out. I learn to live with it, but, I think theres probably a solution. What must I be doing wrong if this keeps happening? You guys have same thing?

  • Why does Komodo edit not open files on doubleclick due to some path encoding error?

    When I double click a file in finder to open in Komodo edit, it displays an error message saying it can't find the file and the path is displayed, but with wrong encoding, such that special characters such as "ó" and "ð" are displayed as some weird boxes. Screenshot: http://i51.tinypic.com/2qkleg4.jpg I'm running OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.4 and Komodo Edit version 5: "Komodo Edit, version 5.2.4, build 4343, platform macosx-x86. Built on Tue Dec 8 18:18:35 2009." When I drag the file into Komodo edit it opens just fine displaying the path correctly with "ó"s and all :P This doesn't happen if I right click the file in finder and select to open it with TextEdit or Word or (God forbid) MacVim - only when I select to open it in Komodo edit. This is annoying as all hell.

  • Will Dolphin emulator run (smoothly) on this machine?

    Product Specs: Intel® NM10 Express chipset /w Intel® Atom® D525 (dual-core, 1.8 GHz) I think the most I can put in there for RAM is 4 GB. (They don't make 8 GB SODIMM do they?) The Dolphin site is pretty vague about requirements: Windows XP or higher, or Linux, or MacOSX Intel Fast CPU with SSE2. GPU with Pixel Shader 2.0 or greater. Some integrated graphics chips work but it depends on the model (and only with DirectX 9). I'm trying to make a light-weight quiet little machine for streaming video and playing eumulators, and I'm trying to figure out the minimum requirements I will need to do what I want. I know I'm not supposed to ask for product recommendations here, so if you could just advise the minimum requirements in terms of CPU, graphics card, and RAM, that'd be helpful.

  • WINEHQ - wine_gecko won't init - HTML Rendering disabled

    Hello Super Users, I'm currently trying to get a windows compiled program to work through Wine to run on Linux and MacOSX. When I run the program through wine, it prompts me to install Gecko which I do. Later on in the program, it attempts to use MSHTML to render HTML but I get these error messages on my console instead. err:mshtml:init_xpcom NS_InitXPCOM2 failed: 80004005 err:mshtml:HTMLDocument_Create Failed to init Gecko, returning CLASS_E_CLASSNOTAVAILABLE fixme:ole:CoCreateInstance no instance created for interface {00000000-0000-0000-c000-000000000046} of class {25336920-03f9-11cf-8fd0-00aa00686f13}, hres is 0x80040111 I'm using Wine 1.1.34 and a similar bug was supposedly fixed in 1.1.33 http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12578 I've been at this all afternoon, is there anything I'm missing?   • Files hidden on USB hard disk because of virus, how to clean?

    I have 1 GB hard drive. First all of its contents were gone after a virus got in (when I have the drive to someone else). After research found that it was a virus may be. I run Nortan antivus and removed certain virus. Then ran malewarebytes, now ad-aware and avg 2011 antivirus. Now i could see the files on my other computer. But now I have hooked this to my new macbook pro (windows installation) and i can't see the files. The antivurs does find all the files. MacOSX wrote a 400 MB directory there which i can see but nothing else. How to fix this? Which program will fix it?

I dont want to hardcode the users in the config... and I found some information that it should be possible that the user goes to... lets say: Code: http://localhost/~user1/myscript.cgi and the script gets executes as user 'user1'.
