  • How to implement automatic replacement of typos in Delphi2010

    I am looking for a way to develop a plugin for Delphi 2010IDE and have yet to find any information on that topic, not even on how to get started. What I want to accomplish is some kind of auto-spellchecker wich can be given a list of common typos (flase instead of false, .cerate instead of .create and the like) and replace them with the intended word. Do you know of a tutorial on plugin development, or maybe an open source plugin which i could base my work on?

  • perl regular expressions substitution/replacement using variables with special characters

    Okay I've checked previous similar questions and I've been juggling with different variations of quotemeta but something's still not right. I have a line with a word ID and two words - the first is the wrong word, the second is right. And I'm using a regex to replace the wrong word with the right one. $line = "ANN20021015_0104_XML_16_21 A$xAS A$xASA"; @splits = split("\t",$line); $wrong_word = quotemeta $splits[1]; $right_word = quotemeta $splits[2]; print $right_word."\n"; print $wrong_word."\n"; $line =~ s/$wrong_word\t/$right_word\t/g; print $line; What's wrong with what I'm doing? Edit The problem is that I'm unable to retain the complete words - they get chopped off at the special characters. This code works perfectly fine for words without special characters. The output I need for the above example is: ANN20021015_0104_XML_16_21 A$xASA A$xASA But what I get is ANN20021015_0104_XML_16_21 A A Because of the $ character.

    I use this code to make my UITableViewCells cell = [[[UITableViewCell alloc] initWithStyle:UITableViewCellStyleValue2 reuseIdentifier:CellIdentifier] autorelease]; If you're unfamiliar with UITableViewCellStyleValue2, the main text is shown, and then the detail text is shown after it, generally in a different color. However, when I do this, my main text is truncated, if it is longer than a short word. I want to force it to not truncate the main text and show the entire main text, and then the detail text after it. How can I do that?

  • How to save text to a div using JavaScript onmouseout

    Good morning all. I have a div that I'm able to save text to when I click a save button but what I would like is if the text would just automatically save on an onmouseout event. For example: I have a div and two buttons (Save and Cancel). The user is currently able to mouse over the current text data inside the div, click on the text and they can then edit said text. The only way they can save this text is by clicking the save button. Is there a way to use onmouseout to save the text so that the user simply has to click and edit the text, then click away and have it saved? Thanks!

  • Image Replacement (JS/JQuery) working in IE but not FF

    I have tried multiple solutions for replacing broken images (both JS & jQuery) and all work perfectly with IE but not in FF, is there a reason for this? Are images handled differently in FF that may cause this? JQuery Example: $("img").error(function(){ $(this).unbind("error").attr("src", "nopic.jpg"); }); Javascript Example: (triggered by onError event in img tag) function noimage(img){ img.onerror=""; img.src="nopic.jpg"; return true; } Both of these examples work perfectly in IE but not at all in FF. What im trying to do is redirect bunch of urls containing a specific string like this: http://www.example.com/**undesired-string**_another-string to http://www.example.com/**new-string**_another-string and http://www.example.com/folder/**undesired-string**/another-string to http://www.example.com/folder/**new-string**/another-string So i have this code in the .htaccess: <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteRule (.+)+(undesired-string)+(.+) $1new-string$2 [R=301,L] </IfModule> This should replace ANY undesired-string in any url to new-string, but it is not working, any idea why ?     With the new media-library capabilities in the 3.0 SDK, I'd like to have a tab in my application to control the music that's playing. Not just pause and play (i'm aware that pressing the home button twice brings up controls for this), but also the ability to browse and queue albums/artists/songs/playlists. Basically a copy of the ipod app functionality. Any chance someone has already done this and made it freely available?

My requirements for the random number generator are not very onerous - its not important that it pass a great battery of statistical tests of pure randomness.     All, At my current company, we are looking to replace all ASP.NET Applications and OLTP databases with Sharepoint 2007. Our applications and databases deal with 10,000+ rows, and we have 5,000 + clients actively using the system. Our Implementation of sharepoint would replace all n-tier applications. Does anyone have an experience in implementing this? My current viewpoint is that Sharepoint is not built for or adequate enough to handle this type of application. Can it really replace application with hundreds of pages, and hundreds of tables? Support Data warehousing operations? Support high performance OLTP operations? Provide a robust development environment? Any and all input is greatly appreciated. Thanks S.O. Community.

    After seeing several threads rubbishing the regexp method of finding a term to match within an HTML document, I've used the Simple HTML DOM PHP parser (http://simplehtmldom.sourceforge.net/) to get the bits of text I'm after, but I want to know if my code is optimal. It feels like I'm looping too many times. Is there a way to optimise the following loop? //Get the HTML and look at the text nodes $html = str_get_html($buffer); //First we match the <body> tag as we don't want to change the <head> items foreach($html->find('body') as $body) { //Then we get the text nodes, rather than any HTML foreach($body->find('text') as $text) { //Then we match each term foreach ($terms as $term) { //Match to the terms within the text nodes $text->outertext = str_replace($term, '<span class="highlight">'.$term.'</span>', $text->outertext); } } } For example, would it make a difference to determine check if I have any matches before I start the loop maybe?

    I have a textbox in which the user can edit text, in a scripting language. I've figured out how to let the user comment out lines in one click, but can't seem to figure out how to uncomment properly. For example, if the box has: Normal Text is here More normal text -- Commented text -- More commented text Normal Text again --Commented Text Again So, when the user selects any amount of text and decides to uncomment, the "--" is removed from the beginning of the lines that have it. The lines without the "--" should be unaffected. In short, I want an uncomment function that performs similar to the one in Visual Studio. Is there any way to accomplish this? Thanks

    Ok I'm trying to make search terms bold in this search script I'm making, except I can't get it to work case insensitive. function highlight($term,$target){ $terms = explode(" ", $term); foreach($terms as $term){ $result = (eregi_replace($term, "<strong>$term</strong>", $target)); } return $result; } That is the function I have so far.. It says on PHP.net that eregi_replace is case insensitive matching but it's obviously not working for some reason. (I'm a noob). Any ideas? :D
