  • JToolbar is hidden by JMenu

    I'm using Netbeans to add a JToolbar to my window which also has a JMenuBar. Here is the design-time look: .. but during run-time I get this: With the toolbar seemingly partially hidden under the menu names. This is on the Mac, btw. Is there something stupid I've forgotten to do or some layout trick I should be using? EDIT: I'll add that the area below the toolbar is a SplitContainer.

  • A popup button with a static image (Cocoa OSX)

    I am trying to make a popup button that always displays a + as its image and when you click on it, a context menu pops up that will allow you to decide what type of object you want to add. Is there anyway to do this using an NSPopupButton? I saw in the specs for NSPopupButotn that the method SetImage has no effect so it seems that this is likely not going to work using this class. Is this correct?

  • Zend Framework question (again) Do images, mp3s, scripts, etc, al just go in public folder?

    I guess these are all questions that everyone must just know, because I'm not seeing this in the documentation :-D I understand that the public folder is the folder that the world has access to. I know it is the case with the css folder, but in migrating a traditional php website over, will my /images folder, /js folder /mp3s, etc Will those all just also be public folders that will be accessed via the layout or view.phtml pages?     Hello, I want to use either http://onehackoranother.com/projects/jquery/tipsy/ or http://bassistance.de/jquery-plugins/jquery-plugin-tooltip/ and I was wondering if lets say I have a div on my page that has a class 'item_info'. Can I have my tooltip that is created output the div inside the tooltip and formatted properly according to my css? Is there another plugin I should be looking into? Thanks.   • How do I display a jquery dialog box before the entire page is loaded?

    On my site a number of operations can take a long time to complete. When I know a page will take a while to load, I would like to display a progress indicator while the page is loading. Ideally I would like to say something along the lines of: $("#dialog").show("progress.php"); and have that overlay on top of the page that is being loaded (disappearing after the operation is completed). Coding the progress bar and displaying progress is not an issue, the issue is getting a progress indicator to pop up WHILE the page is being loaded. I have been trying to use JQuery's dialogs for this but they only appear after the page is already loaded. This has to be a common problem but I am not familiar enough with JavaScript to know the best way to do this. Here's simple example to illustrate the problem. The code below fails to display the dialog box before the 20 second pause is up. I have tried in Chrome and Firefox. In fact I don't even see the "Please Wait..." text.   • Copy SQL 2005 view result column headers?

    Is there a way to copy View output column headers along with the data? There is a setting in Options to include column headers with query results, but that only works with "New Query" and Stored Procedure output. Looks like SSMS 2008 has this functionality built in to the contextual menu when you right click on results, but I only have 2005. Am I out of luck? Thanks for any help.

    I just installed Google's Page Speed plugin to Firebug, and everything looks good except for caching. I have set headers to cache my JS and CSS files, but it says the images aren't being cached. How can I make sure the images get cached for 30 days? These are static images, so I can't just add the headers with PHP like I did with the other files.
