    While building some maps today in SQL Server 2008 R2 Reporting Services, I kept coming up with an error that said: A generic error occurred in GDI+ I was struggling to think what I'd done wrong. After much nashing of teeth and removal of hair, I finally worked out what the error was.   • I forgot the password to a cbz/zip file

    I forgot the password to a cbz file, which when I open it says it only contains empty pages, so i rename it to zip, since I read it will open anyway, and I enter what I supposed to be the password, and it starts extracting some 100 files, but it stops and asks for a password again and none of my known passwords work. Help? it's a backup for over 2 years of work. I'm using Archive Manager at Ubuntu 13.

  • I'm trying to understand hash tables - can someone explain it to me - clearly?

    I want to understand the correct use and implementation of hash tables in php (sorry). I read somewhere that an in-experienced programmer created a hash table and then iterated through it. Now, I understand why that is wrong but I haven't quite got the full knowledge to know if my understanding is correct (if you know what I mean). So could someone explain to me how to implement a hash table in php (presumably an associative array) and perhaps more importantly, how to access the values 'with a hash' and what that actually means?

  • How can I edit my httpd.conf file?

    I have xampp installed, and need to edit my httpd.conf file to add a virtual host block. If I right-click on the file in Nautilus and open with gedit, I can see all the content, but it's read-only. If I try to open it via terminal, like this: esther@estherLinuxSony:~$ sudo gedit opt/lampp/etc/extra/httpd-vhosts.conf It opens the root version of gedit, but there's no content in the file. How can I edit this file?

  • Non-intentional hosting of material that is protected by copyright law

    I am interested how copyright law works in the case of Rapidshare, Youtube and etc. Just hypothetically speaking, what if I create a website for uploading and sharing MP3 files, and some users start uploading songs in MP3 format that are protected by copyright laws. Can I get sued for this? Knowing that it wasn't me who uploaded that content? Thanks! PS. also maybe there is some good source where I could read about law cavities related to copyright material?

    In my previous job, we had several cases where schema changes or incorrect developer assumptions in the middle tier or application logic would lead to type mismatches. We would have a stored procedure that returns a BIT column, but then change the procedure to have something like CASE WHEN <condition> THEN 1 ELSE 0 END.     I am trying to get Juju working on Windows 8 but I am running in to some errors when trying to get juju to see my ssh keys: C:\Users\username> juju bootstrap error: error parsing environment "azure": read C:\Users\user\SkyDrive\Documents\Azure\ssh\: The handle is invalid. I've added a public key I generated with putty to the directory above called azure My environments.yaml file has this in it: authorized-keys-path: C:\Users\user\SkyDrive\Documents\Azure\ssh\ Any ideas?

  • Finding a Payment Gateway?

    I have a client who would like to sell glass pipes online. The problem I run into is with the payment gateway. Glass pipes fall into two categories drug paraphernalia or tobacco product. This leads me to here and asking: Does anyone know of a payment gateway that will process payments for glass pipes? Note: Doing some Google searching I read that Authorize.net will accept tobacco but when I spoke with them they said they do not.

  • Java heap space

    In Java/JVM, why do we call the memory place where Java creates objects as "Heap"? Does it use the Heap Data Structure to create/remove/maintain the objects? As I read in the documentation of Heap data structure, the algorithm compares the objects with existing nodes and places them in such a way that Parent object is "greater" than the children. ( Or "lesser" in case of min heap). So in JVM, how are the objects compared against each other before placing them in the heap?
