• Problem importing mysql triggers generated from mysqldump

  I am using phpmyadmin for using the mysqldump query, but as per my requirement i have to create a new database which is clone of the previous one, now in this case when i import the main DB it contain all the trigger information as well with the DB name mentioned in it.. As i import this DB to new one my triggers get imported as well but the trigger_schema are not changed as per new DB.. What could be done to get resolve this problem?

  I'm just exploring ruby and was wondering about the theoretical possibility of adding a method to the class of an object. For example, define a method that takes in a parameter and would add a method to the class of that parameter (not just to the parameter object itself). However, I can only use SQL with simple select or update statement then it may too hard for me to write such code, then I hope someone with expertise can give direction, no details needed on the different of SQL variant, a standard sql code as sample is enough. • Exception - Illegal Block size during decryption(Android)

  I am writing an application which encrypts and decrypts the user notes based on the user set password. i used the following algorithms for encryption/decryption 1. PBEWithSHA256And256BitAES-CBC-BC 2. PBEWithMD5And128BitAES-CBC-OpenSSL e_Cipher = Cipher.getInstance(PBEWithSHA256And256BitAES-CBC-BC); d_Cipher = Cipher.getInstance(PBEWithSHA256And256BitAES-CBC-BC); e_Cipher.init() d_Cipher.init() encryption is working well, but when trying to decrypt it gives Exception - Illegal Block size after encryption i am converting the cipherText to HEX and storing it in a sqlite database. i am retrieving correct values from the sqlite database during decyption but when calling d_Cipher.dofinal() it throws the Exception. I thought i missed to specify the padding and tried to check what are the other available cipher algorithms but i was unable to found. so request you to please give the some knowledge on what are the cipher algorithms and padding that are supported by Android? if the algorithm which i used can be used for padding, how should i specify the padding mechanism? I am pretty new to Encryption so tried a couple of algorithms which are available in BouncyCastle.java but unsuccessful. • question about MySQL database migration

  Hi there: If I have a MySQL database with several tables on a live server, now I would like to migrate this database to another server. Of course, the migration I mean here involves some database tables, for example: add some new columns to several tables, add some new tables etc.. Now, the only method I can think of is to use some php/python(two scripts I know) script, connect two databases, dump the data from the old database, and then write into the new database. However, this method is not efficient at all. For example: in old database, table A has 28 columns; in new database, table A has 29 columns, but the extra column will have default value 0 for all the old rows. My script still needs to dump the data row by row and insert each row into the new database. Is there any tools or a better method than writing a script yourself? Here, I dont need to worry about multithread writing problems etc.., I mean the old database will be down (not open to public usage etc.., only for upgrade ) for a while. Thanks!!

• How can I diagnose "Cannot determine peer address" in my Perl TCP script?

  I've this little script which does it's job pretty well but sometimes it tends to fail. It fails in 2 cases: with error send: Cannot determine peer address at ./tcp-new.pl line 52 with no output or anything, it just fails to deliver what it got to connected Tcp Client. Usually it happens after I disconnect from server, go home and connect it again. To fix this restart is required and it starts working. Sometimes this problem is followed by problem mentioned in point 1. Note: it's not problem when I disconnect and reconnect to it again within short amount of time (unless error nr 1 happens). • JPanel components paint-time problem

  I'm having a problem that when my frame is shown (after a login dialog) the buttons are not on correct position, then in some miliseconds they go to the right position (the center of the panel with border layout). When I make a SSCCE, it works correct, but when I run my whole code I have this fast-miliseconds delay to the buttons to go to the correct place. Unfortunately, I can't post the whole code, but the method that shows the frame is: public void login(JComponent userView) { centerPanel.removeAll(); centerPanel.add(userView); centerPanel.revalidate(); centerPanel.repaint(); frame.setVisible(true); } What would cause this delay to the panel layout? • ResourceManager and not supported platform

  I use ResourceManager for UI localization of my WinCE 5 software. I have some resource files with text strings on different languages Resourse.resx Resourse.de-DE.resx Resourse.ru-RU.resx When I want to display UI in English I call: Resourse.Culture = new CultureInfo("en-US"); label1.Text = Resourse.LabelText; in German: Resourse.Culture = new CultureInfo("de-DE"); label1.Text = Resourse.LabelText; in Russian: Resourse.Culture = new CultureInfo("ru-RU"); label1.Text = Resourse.LabelText; but here I get PlatformNotSupportedException. I know that my WinCE does not contain Russian and I cannot modify OS to appened this, so my question is how I can say to ResourceManger to use Resourse.ru-RU.resx when I set Culture = new CultureInfo("ru-RU") ?

• AsyncListViewAdapter + SimplePager, why is inactive pager clearing the table?

  I'm trying to make CellTable work together with AsyncListViewAdapter<T> and SimplePager<T>. The data gets displayed, but when the pager should be 'deaf' (meaning when all existing data are displayed) it still receives clicks and, more importantly, makes the displayed data go away. Instead of my data 'loading' indicator gets displayed, and it keep loading and loading... Obviously nothing gets loaded, as it doesn't even call the onRangeChanged handler. I went through the code-snippets in this thread, but I can't see anything suspicions on what I've been doing. Is there some obvious answer to a rookie mistake?
