  • QMail do not delivery to remote mailboxes for my own domain

    - by lorenzo-s
    Sorry for the title, I don't know how to sum up this situation. I have a web server at mydomain.com, running qmail for website related mail delivery (i.e. newsletter, sign up confirmation, etc). qmail here is used only to send mails, because I have a fully working Google App Gmail associated with mydomain.com for normal email receiving. qmail runs fine when sending email to remote addresses, for example to [email protected], but fails when sending to [email protected]. I think it's because the server thinks that he have to manage mailboxes for mydomain.com locally, instead of redirect them to Gmail. Here is the /var/log/qmail/current for two email: the first one is sent without problems to example.com, second one fails because it's for mydomain.com: 2012-11-15 15:04:11.551933500 new msg 262580 2012-11-15 15:04:11.551936500 info msg 262580: bytes 5604 from <[email protected]> qp 5185 uid 33 2012-11-15 15:04:11.575910500 starting delivery 316: msg 262580 to remote [email protected] 2012-11-15 15:04:11.575912500 status: local 0/10 remote 1/20 2012-11-15 15:04:12.189828500 delivery 316: success: 74.125.136.27_accepted_message./Remote_host_said:_250_2.0.0_OK_1352991894_j49si13055539eep.9/ 2012-11-15 15:04:12.189830500 status: local 0/10 remote 0/20 2012-11-15 15:04:12.189831500 end msg 262580 2012-11-15 16:49:20.270332500 new msg 262580 2012-11-15 16:49:20.270336500 info msg 262580: bytes 2192 from <[email protected]> qp 5479 uid 33 2012-11-15 16:49:20.315125500 starting delivery 323: msg 262580 to local [email protected] 2012-11-15 16:49:20.315128500 status: local 1/10 remote 0/20 2012-11-15 16:49:20.320855500 delivery 323: failure: Sorry,_no_mailbox_here_by_that_name._(#5.1.1)/ 2012-11-15 16:49:20.320858500 status: local 0/10 remote 0/20 2012-11-15 16:49:20.372911500 bounce msg 262580 qp 5484 2012-11-15 16:49:20.372914500 end msg 262580 As you can see, it says: Sorry,_no_mailbox_here_by_that_name I can't say he's wrong :) How to solve this? How to let Google App Gmail manage incoming email for mydomain.com for messages sent by mydomain.com qmail server?

  • Why do I have to log into hotmail twice?

    - by Tony Lee
    I just recently noticed I have to attempt a login into hotmail twice before it succeeds. Although I'm using Google Chrome (3.0.195.21), the symptoms are well described in a Mozilla thread. In short, I'm told: The e-mail address or password is incorrect. Please try again. The thread on mozilla's site that supposed to describe the latest details (and the 1st hit on google when I search for "hotmail login twice") requires an account to read so I'm hoping someone here has a good synopsis of what the cause is. I normally start at hotmail.com, which redirects to login.live.com/.... I can login by starting at mail.live.com, using IE8 or attempting a 2nd login. Oddly, if I start at login.live.com Chrome tells me there is a redirect loop. Does anyone know or have a public link to the root cause of the double login? (it is a hotmail account I'm login into) EDIT - Caused by my 'restricting how 3rd parties can use cookies'. If I allow all cookies, it works first time.

    hi friends,the code below belongs to binary search algorithm,user enter numbers in textbox1 and enter the number that he want to fing with binarysearch in textbox2.i have a problem with it,that is when i enter for example 15,21 in textbox1 and enter 15 in textbox2 and put brakpoint on the line i commented below,and i understood that it doesnt put the number in textbox2 in searchnums(commented),for more explanation i comment in code.thanks in advance public void button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { int searchnums = Convert.ToInt32(textBox2.Text);//the problem is here,the value in textbox2 doesnt exist in searchnums and it has value 0. int result = binarysearch(searchnums); MessageBox.Show(result.ToString()); } public int binarysearch(int searchnum) { string[] source = textBox1.Text.Split(','); int[] nums = new int[source.Length]; for (int i = 0; i < source.Length; i++) { nums[i] = Convert.ToInt32(source[i]); } int first =0; int last = nums.Length; int mid = (int)Math.Floor(nums.Length / 2.0); while (1<= nums.Length) { if (searchnum < nums[mid]) { last = mid - 1; } if (searchnum > nums[mid]) { first = mid + 1; } else { return nums[mid]; } } return -1; }

  • C++ return a "NULL" object if search result not found

    - by aduric
    I'm pretty new to C++ so I tend to design with a lot of Java-isms while I'm learning. Anyway, in Java, if I had class with a 'search' method that would return an object T from a Collection< T that matched a specific parameter, I would return that object and if the object was not found in the collection, I would return a NULL. Then in my calling function I would just check if(T != NULL) { ... } In C++, I'm finding out that I can't return a NULL if the object doesn't exist. I just want to return an 'indicator' of type T that notifies the calling function that no object has been found. I don't want to throw an exception because it's not really an exceptional circumstance. class Node { .... Attr& getAttribute(const string& attribute_name) const { //search collection //if found at i return attributes[i]; //if not found return NULL; } private: vector<Attr> attributes; }

  • Loop background images using jQuery

    - by da5id
    I'm trying to get the back-ground image of a legacy div (by which I mean it already has a background image, which I cannot control & thus have to initially over-write) to smoothly rotate indefinitely. Here's what I have so far: var images = [ "/images/home/19041085158.jpg", "/images/home/19041085513.jpg", "/images/home/19041085612.jpg" ]; var counter = 0; setInterval(function() { $(".home_banner").css('backgroundImage', 'url("'+images[counter]+'")'); counter ++; if (counter == colours.length) { counter = 0; } }, 2000); Trouble is, it's not smooth (I'm aiming for something like the innerfade plugin), and it's not indefinite (it only runs once through the array). All help greatfully appreciated :)

  • Looking for something like Google's Picasa [closed]

    - by Skizz
    I almost like Picasa, but there are two issues that irk me and I wondered if anyone knew of an application that does what Picasa does but without the following problems: Network drives. Picasa is hopeless with network drives. Ideally, I'd like photos to be stored remotely and thumbnail databases to be stored locally with a client-server set-up to update client databases. The main aim is to get updates propagated to clients efficently, reduce network bandwidth and have quick browsing on the client. It needs to be snappy when used over a wireless network. This is just a minor point but the folder view looks awful, especially when it uses those tiny thumbnails. (Also, what is it with folders being drawn vertically. Having spent years looking at folders orientated horizontally, turning them on their side looks so wrong.)

  • help building a PC that can image a dozen hard drives simultaneously

    - by Bigbio2002
    Not sure if this belongs on here or SuperUser, but here goes... I'm trying to figure out how to make a mass hard drive imaging PC out of COTS parts. A dedicated imaging device can do 10 drives at a time, but costs several thousand dollars. So far, I'm thinking to use several 3-port PCI-E Firewire cards, and use some kind of Firewire-to-IDE adapter to connect the drives themselves. The "software" would consist of scripting diskpart, or some other imaging utility. The problem is that I can't seem to find any sort of adapter. I could use standard external hard drive bays, but then I'd have a dozen power cables that I need to plug in. Ugly, messy, and inefficient. I picked Firewire over USB not only for better transfer speeds, but also because FW can deliver power over the bus (and could theoretically power a hard drive). Does anyone have any input on this?

  • Saving each layer of a Photoshop image to separate files

    - by BadKnees
    I have a PSD file with all icons in separate layers as vectors. I would like to save them in different sizes to use in iPhone, iPhone4 and iPad. I tried Files Scripts Export Layers to Files That took about 15 minutes to save each layer while the computer was overheating from the work. Tried with two different computers, one with CS4 and the other with CS5. Same result. And that doesn't allow me to set sizes. Seem like most icon packs, like pictos, glyphish and iconsweets are distributed in this way, in one PSD file. Is some easy way to get them out of the PSD and into PNG files?

  • Howto boot directly into a VirtualBox image?

    - by mawimawi
    I have a running setup as following: Native OS: Windows 7 64bit, 3 Partitions: c: (System) d: (FAT32, here is my vdi file) e: (unformatted) VirtualBox: Fedora 14 running off the vdi file on drive d. Usually this setup is great for me, but sometimes I'd like to run Linux natively, and not inside VirtualBox. Is there a way to boot directly into the vdi file without the Windows overhead? E.g. using a USB stick with some modified Linux Kernel / GRUB that can mount the vdi file directly as "/"? Or copy the contents of my vdi file to the empty partition and somehow use this from VirtualBox (when booting into Windows) AND directly booting into Linux? Hope to get some hints or even howtos.

  • Write contents of custom View to large Image file on SD card

    - by JFortney
    I have a class that extends View. I override the onDraw method and allow the user to draw on the screen. I am at the point where I want to save this view as an image. I Can use buildDrawingCache and getDrawingCache to create a bitmap that I can write to the SD card. However, the image is not good quality at a large size, it has jagged edges. Since I have a View and I use Paths I can transform all by drawing to a bigger size. I just don't know how to make the Canvas bigger so when I call getDrawingCache it doesn't crop all the paths I am just transformed. What is happening is I transform all my paths but when I write the Bitmap to file I am only getting the "viewport" of the actual screen size. I want something much bigger. Any help in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. I have been reading the docs and books and am at a loss. Thanks Jon

  • Save UIView's representation to file.

    - by fish potato
    What is the easiest way to save UIView's representation to file? My solution is, UIGraphicsBeginImageContext(someView.frame.size); [someView drawRect:someView.frame]; UIImage *image = UIGraphicsGetImageFromCurrentImageContext(); UIGraphicsEndImageContext(); NSString* pathToCreate = @"sample.png"; NSData *imageData = [NSData dataWithData:UIImagePNGRepresentation(image)]; [imageData writeToFile:pathToCreate atomically:YES]; but it seems tricky, and I think there must be more efficient way to do this.

  • Extracting Information from Images

    - by Khorkrak
    What are some fast and somewhat reliable ways to extract information about images? I've been tinkering with openCV and this seems so far to be the best route plus it has Python bindings. So to be more specific I'd like to determine what I can about what's in an image. So for example the haar face detection and full body detection classifiers are great - now I can tell that most likely there are faces and / or people in the image as well as about how many. okay - what else - how about whether there are any buildings and if so what do they seem to be - huts, office buildings etc? Is there sky visible, grass, trees and so forth. From what I've read about training classifiers to detect objects, it seems like a rather laborious process 10,000 or so wrong images and 5,000 or so correct samples to train a classifier. I'm hoping that there are some decent ones around already instead of having to do this all myself for a bunch of different objects - or is there some other way to go about this sort of thing?

  • Gmail label search (and not) [closed]

    - by Peter Turner
    I wish that label:Receipts and not label:Red-Box worked, but it doesn't I want to delete all my redbox advertising, but keep my red-box receipts (which are doubly labeled). Seems easy but I could spend all day trying to figure out their syntax and am pretty sure that someone has the cheat sheet I couldn't find on their website.

  • MySQL "OR MATCH" hangs (very slow) on multiple tables

    - by Kerry
    After learning how to do MySQL Full-Text search, the recommended solution for multiple tables was OR MATCH and then do the other database call. You can see that in my query below. When I do this, it just gets stuck in a "busy" state, and I can't access the MySQL database. SELECT a.`product_id`, a.`name`, a.`slug`, a.`description`, b.`list_price`, b.`price`, c.`image`, c.`swatch`, e.`name` AS industry, MATCH( a.`name`, a.`sku`, a.`description` ) AGAINST ( '%s' IN BOOLEAN MODE ) AS relevance FROM `products` AS a LEFT JOIN `website_products` AS b ON (a.`product_id` = b.`product_id`) LEFT JOIN ( SELECT `product_id`, `image`, `swatch` FROM `product_images` WHERE `sequence` = 0) AS c ON (a.`product_id` = c.`product_id`) LEFT JOIN `brands` AS d ON (a.`brand_id` = d.`brand_id`) INNER JOIN `industries` AS e ON (a.`industry_id` = e.`industry_id`) WHERE b.`website_id` = %d AND b.`status` = %d AND b.`active` = %d AND MATCH( a.`name`, a.`sku`, a.`description` ) AGAINST ( '%s' IN BOOLEAN MODE ) OR MATCH ( d.`name` ) AGAINST ( '%s' IN BOOLEAN MODE ) GROUP BY a.`product_id` ORDER BY relevance DESC LIMIT 0, 9 Any help would be greatly appreciated. EDIT All the tables involved are MyISAM, utf8_general_ci. Here's the EXPLAIN SELECT statement: id select_type table type possible_keys key key_len ref rows Extra 1 PRIMARY a ALL NULL NULL NULL NULL 16076 Using temporary; Using filesort 1 PRIMARY b ref product_id product_id 4 database.a.product_id 2 1 PRIMARY e eq_ref PRIMARY PRIMARY 4 database.a.industry_id 1 1 PRIMARY <derived2> ALL NULL NULL NULL NULL 23261 1 PRIMARY d eq_ref PRIMARY PRIMARY 4 database.a.brand_id 1 Using where 2 DERIVED product_images ALL NULL NULL NULL NULL 25933 Using where I don't know how to make that look neater -- sorry about that UPDATE it returns the query after 196 seconds (I think correctly). The query without multiple tables takes about .56 seconds (which I know is really slow, we plan on changing to solr or sphinx soon), but 196 seconds?? If we could add a number to the relevance if it was in the brand name ( d.name ), that would also work

  • "painting" one array onto another using python / numpy

    - by Nate
    I'm writing a library to process gaze tracking in Python, and I'm rather new to the whole numpy / scipy world. Essentially, I'm looking to take an array of (x,y) values in time and "paint" some shape onto a canvas at those coordinates. For example, the shape might be a blurred circle. The operation I have in mind is more or less identical to using the paintbrush tool in Photoshop. I've got an interative algorithm that trims my "paintbrush" to be within the bounds of my image and adds each point to an accumulator image, but it's slow(!), and it seems like there's probably a fundamentally easier way to do this. Any pointers as to where to start looking?

What i want to do is, all the info will shows off on the TextBox when the user click the button. The searching node will be based on the pid. Next button will adding 1 value of pid (let's say pid=2) and it will search on the node that have the same value of pid=2. it also will show the name for the pid=2. (showing name=abc) Same goes to the previous button where it will reduce 1value of pid (pid=1). Does anybody knows how to do this? //-------------EDIT------------------ thanks to L.B, im trying to use his code. however i got an error. is my implementation of code correct? private void previousList_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { pid = 14; XDocument xDoc = XDocument.Parse("C:\\Users\\HDAdmin\\Documents\\Fatty\\SliceEngine\\SliceEngine\\bin\\Debug\\simpan.xml"); var name = xDoc.Descendants("myself") .First(m => (int)m.Element("PatientID") == pid) .Value; textETA.Text = name; //////////////////// }

  • In Corona SDK the background image always cover other images

    I'm currently making a tower defense game with Corona SDK. However, while I'm making the gaming scene, The background scene always cover the monster spawn, I've tried background:toBack() ,however it's doesn't work.Here is my code: module(..., package.seeall) function new() local localGroup = display.newGroup(); local level=require(data.levelSelected); local currentDes = 1; monsters_list = display.newGroup() --The background local bg = display.newImage ("image/levels/1/bg.png"); bg.x = _W/2;bg.y = _H/2; bg:toBack(); --generate the monsters function spawn_monster(kind) local monster=require("monsters."..kind); newMonster=monster.new() --read the spawn(starting point) in level, and spawn the monster there newMonster.x=level.route[1][1];newMonster.y=level.route[1][2]; monsters_list:insert(newMonster); localGroup:insert(monsters_list); return monsters_list; end function move(monster,x,y) -- Using pythagoras to calauate the moving distace, Hence calauate the time consumed according to speed transition.to(monster,{time=math.sqrt(math.abs(monster.x-x)^2+math.abs(monster.y-y)^2)/(monster.speed/30),x=x, y=y, onComplete=newDes}) end function newDes() currentDes=currentDes+1; end --moake monster move according to the route function move_monster() for i=1,monsters_list.numChildren do move(monsters_list[i],200,200); print (currentDes); end end function agent() spawn_monster("basic"); end --Excute function above. timer2 = timer.performWithDelay(1000,agent,10); timer.performWithDelay(100,move_monster,-1); timer.performWithDelay(10,update,-1); move_monster(); return localGroup; end and the monster just stuck at the spawn point and stay there. but, When i comment these 3 lines of code: --local bg = display.newImage ("image/levels/1/bg.png"); --bg.x = _W/2;bg.y = _H/2; --bg:toBack(); The problem disappear Any ideas??Thanks for helping

  • A way to rename keep the first 10 charaters of a image name

    Hi there, I have a very big job to do. I have about 930 pictures which are called like: 5210841 Tuinset Senator.jpg 5210898 Traptrede Premium.jpg etc. I'm looking for a way to rename these pictures, without losing the number part. So for the first one, its name would be: 5210841.jpg and the second 5210898.jpg Can you guys think about a program which can do this job? It's for a Windows platform.

  • Looking for a central image database and tagging system for a group of users

    - by jstarek
    I'm doing IT support for a small volunteer organisation who needs to centrally store and organize around 2500 photos. Can anyone here recommend a database or similar system which matches the following criteria: Intuitive to use for users with little computer experience Multi-user support, ideally with integration in our existing LDAP user directory Should have a web-interface Not a hosted solution like Picasa (because we have a rather slow internet connection with very slow upload) Should allow tagging of images, sorting by various criteria and storing copyright information If there are native GNOME and/or Windows clients for the tool, that would be a great benefit. Many thanks in advance!

  • Getting pixel averages of a vector sitting atop a bitmap...

    - by user346511
    I'm currently involved in a hardware project where I am mapping triangular shaped LED to traditional bitmap images. I'd like to overlay a triangle vector onto an image and get the average pixel data within the bounds of that vector. However, I'm unfamiliar with the math needed to calculate this. Does anyone have an algorithm or a link that could send me in the right direction? (I tagged this as Python, which is preferred, but I'd be happy with the general algorithm!) I've created a basic image of what I'm trying to capture here: http://imgur.com/Isjip.gif
