    Hey everyone, Does anyone know of an app that could serve as an alternative to the mixer in Windows 7? I am looking to quickly adjust the volume of various devices easily (preferably with a keystroke to open the panel perhaps?). If anyone knows of any other tools/shortcuts, please post them here.   • Intel Matrix Storage Manager not showing on Asus P5W DH Deluxe?

    I have set, under "Main" - "IDE Configuration" - "Configure SATA as" to "Raid" and "Onboard Serial-ATA BootRom" to "Enabled", but upon POST I still do not see the Intel Matrix Storage Manager screen where I can press Ctrl+I to set up my raid? I have the latest BIOS version EDIT: Although I had set the rom to "enabled", I then went and reset the bios settings to default. I then set the bootrom setting to "disabled", restarted and then "enabled" again and it seemed to work.

  • How to show declined meeting on Outlook calendar

    I declined a recurring meeting invitation in Outlook 2007 to let the organizer know I am unable to attend, which will be true most of the time. But there will be rare occasions when I could attend so I would like to have this declined meeting show up on my calendar. Currently, it is sitting in my Deleted Items folder and I find no way to move/copy/transfer it to the calendar. Also, contrary to this post -- I do not even see an option to redo my accept/decline choice.

  • buttons to revert and add item to menu aren't working

    I right-clicked Applications - clicked Edit Menu - reset - confirmed, but Ubuntu One, which I accidetanlly removed wasn't added. Although Ubuntu One was removed, I tried to remove duplicated items in right-click Applications - click Edit Menu - Applications - Others, but the duplicated items weren't removed. How to solve these problems? UPDATE: I uninstalled gnome-menus and libgnome-menu2, because of the post at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=426204, but now Gnome App Central is gone from Applications menu.

    Hi, We do a kickstart installation of FC-10 at our place. I am quite intimidated by the distribution update pop up that comes up after the O/S installation. I want a keyword to put into the kickstart file that would stop Fedora from intimating with an update pop-up.   • is my touchpad dying? Gentoo Linux

    Hi all, My touchpad on my laptop appears to be no longer functioning. I typically use an external keyboard and mouse so I didn't notice the problem until I tried to use the touchpad. Even after toggling the on/off switch several times, the touchpad still doesn't work. In the logs, I see something about cannot read byte from synaptics device.     I have utorrent 3.2.2(build 28500) 32-bit. I am trying to download torrent using a proxy server but nothing is working. It shows that you have a wrong network configuration. But the same server settings is working for Google chrome and Internet Download Manager. How to do it ? Also one questions: Any way to convert torrent to direct download other than zbigz.com, torrific.com and torcache.com ( i tried them, not working)?

  • Using gVIM as a replacement for Visual Studio

    Hi all, Is there a good way to get gVim working as an IDE replacement? I'm moreso looking for suggestions for Intellisense-type plugins...code completion...maybe easy directory browsing (other than the standard 'edit.' command). I'm building embedded applications in C...so I have no need to incorporate any debugging elements, and for the build process I can just have a console window open to call my batch file whenever it is required (or if I could call it through some hotkey combination in gVIM...that would be awesome as well).

    Hi guys, I need to build a batch file for Windows 7. This .bat file is just for installing an application. The issue is that I need to know if Windows 7 is 32 bits (and then run a 32 installer) or if it is a Windows 7 64 bits (then run the 64 bits installer). Which command can I use in a batch file to know if Windows 7 is 32 or 64 bits? Thanks in advance!!!
