    I use cocos2d for my game. In which I play a movie and have a separate overlay view for controls.The touches are detected in the overlay view. Now when the touches are detected the function in the game code has to be invoked. But the function is not detected and there is no error. I dont know what has gone wrong. Someone please help me. I am using a JS method to do this, which works great in Safari, but never executes past the getClientRects method when executed from a UIWebView. The elements I'm interested are all of class="h".     In the form we have this where IntaktsBudgetsType is a poorly named enum that only specifies wether to populate the datagridview after customer or product (You do the budgeting either after product or customer) private void UpdateGridView() { bs = new BindingSource(); bs.DataSource = intaktsbudget.GetDataSource(this.comboBoxKundID.Text, IntaktsBudgetsType.PerKund); dataGridViewIntaktPerKund.DataSource = bs; } This populates the datagridview with a database view that merge the product, budget and customer tables. The logic has the following method to get the correct set of IList from the repository which only does GetTable<T>.ToList<T> public IEnumerable<IntaktsBudgetView> GetDataSource(string id, IntaktsBudgetsType type) { IList<IntaktsBudgetView> list = repository.SelectTable<IntaktsBudgetView>(); switch (type) { case IntaktsBudgetsType.PerKund: return from i in list where i.kundId == id select i; case IntaktsBudgetsType.PerProdukt: return from i in list where i.produktId == id select i; } return null; } Now I don't want to use a database view since that is read-only and I want to be able to perform CRUD actions on the datagridview. I could build a class that acts as a wrapper for the whole thing and bind the different table values to class properties but that doesn't seem quite right since I would have to do this for every single thing that requires "the merge". Something pretty important (and probably basic) is missing the the thought process but after spending a weekend on google and in books I give up and turn to the SO community.

    In my \drawable-mdpi folder, I have an image named: test.jpg In my main.xml file, in my LinearLayout section, I have: <ImageView android:id="@+id/test_image" android:src="@drawable/test" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" /> In my src folder, I have only 1 file, HelloAndroidActivity.java with only the following method: public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setContentView(R.layout.main); ImageView image = new ImageView(this); image = (ImageView) findViewById(R.id.test_image); setContentView(image); } This seems to be correct, yet whenever I try to run it, I get The application HelloAndroid (process xxxxx) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. The strange part is it previously did display the image, but now it won't and I don't know why. Also, when I comment out the ImageDisplay code, and replace it with TextDisplay code. i.e. TextView tv = new TextView(this); tv.setText("Does this work?"); setContentView(tv); It does display the text.     I am writing a Flex application to receive xml from an httpservice. That works because I can populate a datagrid with the information. The xml sends image pathnames. A combobox sends a new HttpService call onChange. This repopulates the datagrid and puts new images in the folder that flex is accessing. I want to dynamically change the image without changing the pathname of the image. <mx:Canvas id="borderCanvas"><mx:Canvas id="dropCanvas"> <mx:Tile id="adTile"><mx:Image></mx:Image> </mx:Tile></mx:Canvas></mx:Canvas> This is my component. I assign my Image sources using this code: var i:Number = 0; while ( i <= dg_conads.rowCount){ var img:Image = new Image(); img.source = null; img.source = imageSource+i+".jpg"; adTile.addChild(img); i++; } My biggest problem is that the images are not refreshing. I get the same image even though I've prevented caching from the HTML wrapper and the ASP.Net website. The image automatically loads in the folder and refreshes in the folder but I can't get the image to refresh in the application. I've tried removeAllChildren(); delete(adTile.getChildAt(0)); and neither worked.

I need to set the tabindex index on the 'terms_radio' DIV, simply tabindex="2" attribute on div is not working, Is it possible to bring the dotted border on the label for the radio input up on pressing the TAB when the cursor is at email input field?

So when that function finishes i get an array which contains IDs and Names. I echo the names but i want the ID for reference so when i click on the echoed name i can call an other php function with parameter the ID of the name... How do i get rid of the switch statement?? How do i call properly php functions and pass params to it??? How can i save this IDs so when i click on an item with that id an other php function is called?? Plz feel free to ask any question, any answer is welcome :)

    Hello, I am installing a new windows service coded in C# on a server. I installed the service fine on the server, but once i manually start up the service on a server, with the same login credentials that our other services use, i get the fatal error message notification: "Could not start the %service name% on Local Computer. Error 1069: The Service did not start due to a logon failure." I looked in the event log and i got a 7038 and 7000 event id error in that order. 7038 event id message: "The %service name% service was unable to log on as %login% with the currently configured password due to the following error: Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password. To ensure that the service is configured properly, use the Services snap-in in Microsoft Management Console (MMC)." 7000 event id message: "The %service name% service failed to start due to the following error: The service did not start due to a logon failure. " I have other services that are using the same exact login account and they work fine. Is there something simple I could be missing? Thanks

So I created a table called questing, containing the user_id and the quest_id. My Questing.rb: class Questing < ActiveRecord::Base belongs_to :quest belongs_to :user end Now I want to create a link or button on my /quests/show.html.erb, calling an action in my controller, which will create the relationship between user and quest. So, in my quest_controller I did: def join_quest @quest = Quest.find(params[:id]) puts '************************' puts 'join quest:' + @quest.id puts '************************' respond_to do |format| format.html { redirect_to(@quest) } format.xml { head :ok } end end and in my show.html.erb I did: <%= link_to 'join this quest!!!', :action => :join_quest %> Now, clicking on this link will cause an error like: Couldn't find Quest with ID=join_quest and the url points to */quests/join_quest* instead of */quests/1/join_quest* Now my questions: Is my quests_controller the right place for my join_quest action, or should I move it to my users_controller? Why do I get this error? How to solve it? What do I have to write in my join_quest action for saving the relationship? On my /users/show.html.erb I want to output all quests the user joined. How to do this? I have to get all this quests from my relationship table, right? How? I hope you can help me! THX!

The output of the XSL is: <a href="http://myserver/_forms?url=/blah/File&amp;#39;s got apostrophe.xml&id=5">...</a> The problem is the the apostrophe is HTML-escaped (twice?) into &amp;#39;, which breaks the link. I've also tried using <xsl:attribute>, with same results: <a> <xsl:attribute name="href"> <xsl:value-of select="concat('http://myserver/_forms?url=', @FileRef, '&amp;id=5')" disable-output-escaping="yes" /> </xsl:attribute> </a> Outputting <xsl:value-of select="@FileRef" disable-output-escaping="yes" /> works well - the unescaped value is printed on the page. How can I set the attribute without escaping the string?

I have 4 columns class '.columm' and each wit a unique id - col1,col2,col3 & col4. I can get the drag & drop bit to work I now need to put the "final" positions into a serialized array.   • RoR routing problem. Calling custom action, but getting redirected to show action

    I am working on a project in ruby on rails and I am having a very difficult time with a basic problem. I have the rest of my app working fine, but this is stumping me. Any help is appreciated.

  • Linq to Entities Joins

    I have a question about joins when using Linq to Entities. According to the documentation the use on the join without a qualifier performs like a left outer join. However when I execute the code below, I get a count returned of zero. But if I comment out the three join lines I get a count of 1. That would indicate that the join are acting as inner join. I have two questions. One which is right inner or outer as the default? Second how do I do the other one i.e. inner or outer?   • jQuery dynamic validation

    Hi there Im trying to do a few things with jQuery validation plugin and seems stuck on one place. If i click on submit button 'phone is required' is shown near email input and 'email is required' isnt shown at all. Whats wrong with this code ?

  • SharePoint Lists.asmx's UpdateListItems() returns too much data

    Is there a way to prevent the UpdateListItems() web service call in SharePoint's Lists.asmx endpoint from returning all of the fields of the newly created or updated list item? In our case an event handler attached to our custom list is adding some rather large field values which are turned to the client unnecessarily. Is there a way to tell it to only return the ID of the newly created (or updated) list item? A solution for WSS 3.0 would be preferable over an SP 2010-only solution.
