• Error: "The website declined to show this webpage" with AjaxControlToolkit 3.5

  What I have? I have a ASP.NET page deployed in layouts folder of 12 hive in SharePoint. This page makes use of Accordion control in AjaxControlToolkit.dll V3.5.40412.2. I have placed the page code behind class assembly and AjaxControlToolkit.dll in Virtual Directory bin folder. What I want? I want to load this page when a link clicked from a web part for users of "Visitors" site group when the DLLs are placed in virtual directory bin folder. What problem am I facing? The page loads properly for administrator. But, for "Visitors", it shows "The website declined to show this webpage" error message. In these scenarios the page works fine for "Visitors": If I place both the assemblies in GAC If I give Everyone read permission to AjaxControlToolkit.dll (in bin) Am I missing something here?

• Callback Error when using Sharepoint PeopleEditor

  Hi all: I'm getting a "There was an error in the callback" error when clicking on the check names button of the PeopleEditor in Sharepoint. I didn't do anything fancy. All I did was just to create a PeopleEditor in the C# code and add it to a Panel, and let the aspx page renders it. The address book (the button next to the check names button) works. But everytime when I enter something in the PeopleEditor and click the check names button, I get that error. I had a look at my aspx page, and I'm getting the feeling that I'm missing some sort of Javascript library. I have JQuery library included in my aspx page, but thats about it. Does anyone know what might be wrong? [UPDATE] The PeopleEditor is appended to a panel, which is displayed when the value of a dropdown list changes. Thanks.

  I just was playing with EF 4 in VS 2010 RC and just found that ApplyCurrentValues dont work when the Property is of type bool and the newly value is false !!!??? and it works when the newly value is true . • UIPopoverController w/ UINavigationController Subview contentSizeForViewInPopover doesnt work on Par

  I have a UIPopoverController with a subclass UINavigationController. Both the parent and child views are UITableviews. When i call parent view originally with contentSizeForViewInPopover = (320,480) it works great. When i click into the child view i resize the popover to contentSizeForViewInPopover = (320,780) When return back to the parent view i cannot get the popover to resize back to contentSizeForViewInPopover = (320,480). the popover stays at the (320,780) size. Been trying everything but just missing something. Anyone know how resize the view with UIPopoverControllers in the above scenario? Thanks in Advance!!

  I'm deleting several items from a table using Entity Framework. There isn't a foreign key / parent object so I can't handle this with OnDeleteCascade. Right now I'm doing this: var widgets = context.Widgets .Where(w => w.WidgetId == widgetId); foreach (Widget widget in widgets) { context.Widgets.DeleteObject(widget); } context.SaveChanges(); It works but the foreach bugs me. I'm using EF4 but I don't want to execute SQL. I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything - this is as good as it gets, right? I can abstract it with an extension method or helper, but somewhere we're still going to be doing a foreach, right?

  I can't seem to find any documentation or code samples on how to add a hyperlink to a cell in Excel 2007 using the open xml sdk 2.0. I am using the following code, but is there a step I am missing? • Problem setting up Master-Master Replication in MySQL

  I am attempting to setup Master-Master Replication on two MySQL database servers. I have followed the steps in this guide, but it fails in the middle of Step 4 with SHOW MASTER STATUS; It simply returns an empty set. I get the same 3 errors in both servers' logs. MySQL errors on SQL1: [ERROR] Failed to open the relay log './sql1-relay-bin.000001' (relay_log_pos 4) [ERROR] Could not find target log during relay log initialization [ERROR] Failed to initialize the master info structure MySQL Errors on SQL2: [ERROR] Failed to open the relay log './sql2-relay-bin.000001' (relay_log_pos 4) [ERROR] Could not find target log during relay log initialization [ERROR] Failed to initialize the master info structure The errors make no sense because I'm not referencing those files in any of my configurations. • WPF DataGrid AutoColumn generation via ICustomTypeDescriptor.

  In a test project I've managed to AutoGenerate WPF DataGrid columns in the following scenario, where the data is stored in a Dictionary and binding is performed via PropertyDescriptors: public class People:List<Person>{ ... } public class Person:Dictionary<string,string>,INotifyPropertyChanged,ICustomTypeDescriptor { } The problem I'm having is in my real life project I'm using MVVM so it's *People*ViewModel which inherits ViewModelBase and hence can't inherit List<Person>. I've tried implementing IList<Person> instead with an internal List<Person> and explicitly setting the DataContext to an IList<Person> reference but that didn't work. I've seen a similar post on binding a win forms DataGridView here, so I'm wondering if the same sort of logic applies in WPF and primarily, what exactly causes the ICustomTypeDescriptor implementation to be picked up when inheriting List<T> that is missing when you simply implement IList<T> instead.

• Flot not displaying x axis labels correctly

  I have to display a graph with date on the X axis and Amt on the Y axis. There will be 8 lines (series) each with n months data. • Multi-line strings in objective-c localized strings file

  I have a template for an email that I've put in a localized strings file, and I'm loading the string with the NSLocalizedString macro. I'd rather not make each line its own string with a unique key. In Objective-C, I can create a human-readable multiline string like so: NSString *email = @"Hello %@,\n" "\n" "Check out %@.\n" "\n" "Sincerely,\n" "\n" "%@"; I tried to put that in a .strings file with: "email" = "Hello %@,\n" "\n" "Check out %@.\n" "\n" "Sincerely,\n" "\n" "%@"; But I get the following error at build time: CFPropertyListCreateFromXMLData(): Old-style plist parser: missing semicolon in dictionary. email-template.strings: Unexpected character " at line 1 Command /Developer/Library/Xcode/Plug-ins/CoreBuildTasks.xcplugin/Contents/Resources/copystrings failed with exit code 1 I can concatenate it all together like this: "email" = "Hello %@,\n\nCheck out %@.\n\nSincerely,\n\n%@"; But that will be a mess to maintain, particularly as the email gets longer. Is there a way to do this in a localized strings file? I've already tried adding backslashes at the end of each line, to no avail.

  I've have a workflow whose root activity is a custom NativeActivity with a public InArgument called XmlData. When I try and use this argument in a child If activity I get the following error using XmlData within the condition: 'XmlData' is not declared. It may be inaccessible due to its protection level I'm adding the argument inside CacheMetadata using the metadata.AddArgument method, and I've tried adding the child property it has using both AddChild and AddImplementationChild. If I replace my custom activity with an ActivityBuilder and use code to create a DynamicActivityProperty then the condition can be compiled successfully, so I don't see what I'm missing when I use my own code.

• Canon EDSDK 2.8 (Xcode 3.2.2 - Snow Leopard 10.6.3)

  I'm trying to build an application using the Canon EDSDK 2.8. I created a new Cocoa Application project in Xcode, and imported the headers and framework files. When I try to build and run (without writing any code), I get two warnings that say the frameworks are missing x86_64 architecture files. If I try and import the "EDSDK.h" header file, I end up with about 100 miscellaneous errors. I've tried changing the architecture to i386, however when I try and build and run, I get a debugger error that says "Cannot access memory at address 0x0". The odd thing is that I can get the example applications bundled with the SDK to compile and run without issues, Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?

  Hello I am getting following error while attempting to run the Management Portal for ESB Toolkit 2.0: Event Type: Warning Event Source: ENTSSO Event Category: Enterprise Single Sign-On Event ID: 10536 Description: SSO AUDIT Function: GetConfigInfo (SSOProperties) Application Name: ESB Toolkit.exceptionHandling Error Code: 0xC0002A04, The application does not exist I am using SSO config store for the ESB Config. However, looking in the esb.config file, there is no section, like there is for the other esb SSO applications. Why might this section (and therefore the SSO app) be missing? How can I set it up?   Hi, I have a question that has pretty much been asked here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/780643/asp-net-mvc-html-actionlink-keeping-route-value-i-dont-want However, the final solution is a kludge, pure and simple and I really would like to understand why this happens, if someone can please explain it to me? For completeness, it is possible to recreate the scenario very easily: Create a new MVC web app. Run it up. Visit the About tab Modify the URL to read /Home/About/Flib - This obviously takes you to the action with an id of 'Flib' which we don't care about. Notice that the top menu link to About now actually links to /Home/About/Flib - this is wrong as far as I can see, as I now have absolutely no way of using site links to get back to /Home/About I really don't understand why I should be forced to modify all of my Html.ActionLinks to include new { id = string.Empty } for the routevalues and null for the htmlAttribs. This seems especially out of whack because I already specify id = 0 as part of the route itself. Hopefully I'm missing a trick here.

• Warping Images using cvWarpPerspective Results in Some Parts of the images out of the viewable area

  Hi, I am trying to stich two images together. In order to do so I extracted sift features and find matches on the two images using this C implementation. http://web.engr.oregonstate.edu/~hess/index.html After that I found the homography matrix using the matched points. http://www.ics.forth.gr/~lourakis/homest/ But if I use this Homography Matrix in "cvWarpPerspective" function, some of the parts of the image goes out of the viewable area (negative corrdinates). To solve this I tried to calculate the bounding box first by piping the four corners of the image through Homography matrix. And move the initial image then warp it. But this caused the warping result to change. Is there any way for warping an image and keeping it in the viewable area? I would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance...

  I'm starting a project that involves writing mailets for Apache James. As far as I can tell, the only way to test a change in my code (on Windows) is through the following steps: Compile the mailet code Build a jar file containing the mailet Copy the jar file into the apps/james/SAR-INF/lib directory Start JAMES from run.bat Run test Stop JAMES by telneting to port 4555 and issuing a shutdown command (I guess on Linux a SIGTERM would suffice) I can automate all these steps using Ant and some scripting magic, but I was wondering if I was missing something. Does anyone here have experience developing mailets? Did you use a similar process, or is there an easier way? For example, is there a way to make a running James instance reload the mailets JAR?

  TLDR I have a KML layer in OpenLayers. • IIS 6.0 Server Too Busy HTTP 503 Connection_Dropped DefaultAppPool

  We have a site which is running on a windows 2003 cluster with 2 64bit machines. The site needs to be able to cope with over 20,000 concurrent users One of the things that the site does is to allow the download of a 2MB file (which is cached in memory). We have low CPU and memory usage. We also have surplus bandwidth. It appears that we are running out of connections due the time it takes the user to download the file (some users have slow internet connections). In the IIS log we get HTTP 503 errors. In the HTTPErr log we get mainly Connection_Dropped DefaultAppPool with some Timer_EntityBody DefaultAppPool. Question is: How can we configure IIS to allow more connections? Or is there something that I am missing here? Thanks Shiraz

  I'm trying to create a IWpfTextView and then put it into a custom tool window. I can create the view, read a file to populate the ITextBuffer and display the view into my tool. I cannot edit the code at all and the code is not syntax highlighted. What steps am I missing to make this a full fledged editor? • WinForms (C#) Databinding Object to Checkbox.Checked Property

  Hello, I'm writing a WinForms app, and am trying to bind a boolean property on a .NET object to a Checkbox's "checked" property. I am successfully creating the binding, but when I change the source property's value from false to true (I have a button that toggles it), the checkbox's "checked" property does not reflect that change. if (chkPreRun.DataBindings["Checked"] == null) { Debug.WriteLine("Adding chkPreRun databinding"); Binding _binding = chkPreRun.DataBindings.Add("Checked", NwmConfig, "PreRun") // Added this just to ensure that these were being set properly _binding.DataSourceUpdateMode = DataSourceUpdateMode.OnPropertyChanged; _binding.ControlUpdateMode = ControlUpdateMode.OnPropertyChanged; } I am able to successfully bind the text property to the value of a TextBox, for example. • How to install plugins on Eclipse.

  Hi, i know there already are other questions like this, but i could't find anything useful. And it's becoming such a painful issue.. I was trying to install ObjectAid on Eclipse 3.5.1. So, lets google, http://www.objectaid.com shows up. i added it to the repository list, then checked ObjectAid UML Explorer. It says: Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found. Software being installed: ObjectAid Class Diagram 0.9.86 (com.objectaid.uml.feature.group 0.9.86) Missing requirement: ObjectAid Class Diagram 0.9.86 (com.objectaid.uml.feature.group 0.9.86) requires 'org.eclipse.draw2d 0.0.0' I've had a look into /opt/eclipse/plugins and i've found org.eclipse.draw2d_3.5.2.v20091126-1908, but i coudnt figure out how to install it. The operating system is Ubuntu. Thanks for any help.

• Issues with Android TabHost Example

  I have been attempting to implement the 'advanced' tabwidget example from google. But, when it tries to call tabHost.addTab(spec); I get a stack trace from the debugger. Sorry, I don't have the stack trace here, but I'm wondering if others have had this same issue (as this code had a number of typo's and missing information that stopped me from even compiling. Can anyone point me to a corrected/running version of this code?
