• Form Arrays support across browsers

  I'm not even sure if form arrays is the proper term, but it looks a bit like this: <input name='element[]' type='text' /> <input name='element[]' type='text' /> Which is then retrieved in PHP as an array stored in $_POST['element'] -- in this case with 2 values. I've tested it in the browsers I have available to me, but I've never seen this before and I'm wondering is this supported pretty much in all browsers? Or is this something very old that I've just not run into? Thanks!

  I program a class in which I have a method which takes an callback object from an external software. At the moment Eclipse says that it does not know the type of the object I gave as argument (it is expectable since I do not specify this type, it's done by the external software). So, I think I need to write an interface for the object which I give as an argument to my method. In this respect I have two questions. Is it really so? Can I solve the mentioned problem in the mentioned way. If it is the case, where should I put this interface? In the same file where my class is? In the class? Outside of the class?

  Hi. I have a controller named Content, which has an Index action, which is associated with a view. I would like the simple route "content" to show me the index view of the content controller, so I use the following code (with the addition of the default site home route): routes.MapRoute( "ContentIndex", "content", new { controller = "Content", action = "Index"} ); routes.MapRoute( "Default", "{controller}/{action}", new { controller = "Home", action = "Index" } ); when I type the url : "http://localhost/content/", I get an error 404 saying the resource cannot be found, but when I type "http://localhost/content/index", it shows the content index view. How can I get rid of the index in the url ? Thanks !

What is the point of doing a type check against currency if you don't allow the dollar sign? I never see any SIP traffic from GoTalk to my asterisk server trying to connect the call. Seems I'm not registering correctly for incoming calls because GoTalk aren't sending them to me. I am correct in using the GoTalk username 09xxxxxx as the DID, aren't I ? I've tried using my phone number but it makes no difference.

• How can I search based on distance with the Google Maps API?

  So here's the issue... I have a field where users can type in their address (which will be GeoCoded via Google Maps API). I have several addresses of widgets in my database (saved as address.. again can easily be geocoded). What I need is for the user to type in their address and for a list of my widgets to come up based on distance from their address. I have THOUSANDS of addresses for my widgets and users have an infinite number of addresses obviously. Any ideas? Thanks.

In .NET 4.0 Beta 2, this code perfectly works at runtime : var dateTimeList = new List(); dynamic myDynamicObject = dateTimeList; object value = DateTime.Now; myDynamicObject.Add(value); Now, with last release of .NET 4.0, I have an exception at run time (to solve myDynamicObject.Add(value);) :-( In my real code, 'myDynamicObject' is a dynamic (but I know that it is always an ObservableCollection where T can be anything). 'value' is an instance which was got by some reflexions. As 'value' can have any type, the type of 'value' is Object. Do you see how can I solve this new limitation of .NET 4.0 ? Thanks

  I'm working on a search component for an app I'm working on and I needed to add some filters to it. I've found an example and got the first filter working fine. Now I'm trying to add a second filter I'm running into problems... In the example I found they use filterFunctions, but I only get an option for filterFunction, why is that? Here's the example code productsCollection.filterFunctions = [ filterByPrice, filterByType, filterByCondition, filterByVendor ] And this is what I'm trying acData.filterFunction = [filterByStatus, filterByDate] but with this code I get the following error message - 1067: Implicit coercion of a value of type Array to an unrelated type Function.   I have been trying all afternoon to get my node.js application to create MongoDB indexes properly. I am using the Mongoose ODM and in my schema definition below I have the username field set to a unique index. The collection and document all get created properly, it's just the indexes that aren't working. All the documentation says that the ensureIndex command should be run at startup to create any indexes, but none are being made. I'm using MongoLab for hosting if that matters. I have also repeatedly dropped the collection. • Call an action from another controller

  I have two different objects: contracts, and task orders. My requirements specify that in order to view the Details for either object, the Url should be "http://.../Contract/Details" or "http://.../TaskOrder/Details" depending on which type. They are both very similar and the details pages are almost identical, so I made a class that can either be a contract or a task order, and has a variable "objectTypeID" that says which type it is. I wrote the action "Details" in the task order controller, but now I want to call that from the contract controller instead of recopying the code. So is there any way to have the url still say ".../Contract/Details" but call the action in the TaskOrder controller instead? I tried using TaskOrderController TOController = new TaskOrderController(); TOController.Details(id); This would have worked except that I can't use the HttpContext.Session anymore, which I used several times in the action.

I've searched for the string "MyNewProgramService", but I can't find any conversions that would throw this error.
