  • jQueryMobile: how to work with slider events?

    I'm testing the slider events in jQueryMobile and I must been missing something. page code is: <div data-role="fieldcontain"> <label for="slider">Input slider:</label> <input type="range" name="slider" id="slider" value="0" min="0" max="100" /> </div> and if I do: $("#slider").data("events"); I get blur, focus, keyup, remove What I want to do is to get the value once user release the slider handle and having a hook to the keyup event as $("#slider").bind("keyup", function() { alert('here'); } ); does absolutely nothing :( I must say that I wrongly assumed that jQueryMobile used jQueryUI controls as it was my first thought, but now working deep in the events I can see this is not the case, only in terms of CSS Design. Now as writing Fitnesse test requires lot of effort, we are thinking of using SOAP UI Pro which gives this sort of facility. We are not 100% sure how much this is useful?   • jQuery dialog width resizing problem

    I try to load some HTML code into a jQueryUI dialog by AJAX. The code itself is a list, where rightmost elements should be absolutely positioned so that the list looks like a table with two columns, but only in some rows. The problem is that jQueryUI plugin does not seem to be correctly resizing the dialog's width, which I think is due to the absolute positioning of some li's. I have read some answers to other similar questions, but none helped me out with this.     Hello, I got an issue while trying to display a jquery UI slider with its range based on a values read with PHP from a text file. Its seems that it's a syncrhonising issue as I get the error: "An attempt was made to use an object that is not, or is no longer, usable" code: 11" Is there a way I can force the jquery UI slider to wait for the value to be present or to work in synchrone mode ?
