    I am experiencing a strange phenomenon with Blogger GData API 2.0 on Android. I am using the BloggerService to retrieve blogs. First time it works fine.     I installed Mozilla Firefox beta 9 and the Mozilla flash plugin as a .tar.gz file. I unpacked it, installed it and now I can watch Youtube videos smoothly. But I want to play mp3 codecs and other restricted stuff on my laptop. Should I uninstall the flash plugin for Mozilla Firefox or just install the ubuntu-restricted-extras package (which contains everything I need)? If I install the package without uninstalling the Mozilla plugin, will anything bad happen?

    We moved our Office app hosting from Google Apps to Office 365. Many of us miss Google Apps, especially its superior search functionality. The pressure to use Office 365 has disappeared; many (but not all) of us would like to go back to Google Apps. Is it possible to configure our domain's mail delivery so that messages are delivered to both Google Apps's Gmail and Office 365, allowing users to choose which platform they prefer? If so, what are the options? Google Apps documentation specifies the ability to deliver messages to a secondary mail server using routing configuration. Currently our MX records are point to Office 365. If I change the MX records to point to Google Apps Mails servers, is the "Office 365 MX record address" the address I would want to use for a Google Apps Routing Target?

    Hello, I got WordPress up and running fine on Ubuntu 10.04 by using this source except that when I try to update and install themes/plugins I get this following error message in wp-admin page: Installing Plugin: WordPress.com Stats 1.8.1 Downloading install package from http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/stats.1.8.1.zip… Unpacking the package… Could not create directory. /var/www/wordpress/wp-content/upgrade/stats.tmp/stats Actions: Return to Plugin Installer At first I thought I had to setup an FTP account but searched more and I found some information that says that I need to change the permissions of the wp-content folder which is located in the directory: /var/www/wordpress/wp-content I tried changing it by doing: sudo chmod -R 777 wp-content/ but when I tried installing a plugin I got the same error message. I also tried passing it 755 as a permission but still got the same thing. I settled on 755 because it is more secure I have read. How can I solve this problem safely and securely?

For instance: ajax was calling to a wiki server that pulled an image and content dynamically. So it goes with out saying that I need to plugin my content there but what exactly do I plugin?     I installed Eclipse long time ago from the Software Center, but recently I needed a newer version than the repo one. Then I removed it via Software Center and installed Eclipse Kepler in /opt. However, the window opened is not called Eclipse, it is the name of an old program I made (Eclipse- GMM). However, that's not the main issue, but that even if I created a .desktop file it launches the same, having "two" eclipses in the dock, the actual program and the launcher. How can I remove Unity .desktop cache or wathever it is this?

    To remove links from our site, we return a 410 code on on the links we want removed, and shows The page you requested was removed.. In Webmaster Tools, I see all the 410 pages in Crawl Errors / Not Found. I'm worried that because they appear in Crawl Errors that they could be negatively affecting SEO rankings. Is that the case, and if so, should I change the return codes from 410 to something else?

    Hey all, Recently, I uploaded a new site to an existing domain and I'd like to figure out how I can forward all links to said domain to a new domain. I'm looking for a wordpress solution if possible, but in the end I I seem myself writing a small header script that I will paste into ever directory's index file saying header('Location:http://xxx.yyy.zzz') Is there a cleaner way to do this without having to resort to managing the whole file structure? I am using Joomla but can switch to any CMS, or try to build an extension myself. The problem is I dont know where to look for example code, or what to look for.     Hi, everybody! My pc has an Intel DH57JG mainboard, I've installed wine, launching sketchup I receive error that I don't have OpenGL installed, is there a way to configure/install it? On my previous pc with an NVidia video card installing official NVidia driver resolved it. Is there is a way to do the same with the Intel card?     I fount this answer, but wanted to expand on the question and couldn't find any solutions here on stack or through searching google. Substring domainname from URL SQL Basically the link above solves my problem with a simple URL like parsing "www.google.com" with the result of google. What I am looking for to expand on that is the solution from the link above doesn't help with url's like 'www.maps.google.com' that just returns maps. WHat I would like is to have it return 'google' from the url 'www.maps.google.com' or return 'example' from 'www.test.example.com'. If anyone has a solution to this, I would greatly appreciate it. Update: To be more specific I will also need parsing on second level domains etc. 'www.maps.google.com.au' to return 'google' Here is my Sql function.     I've switched my main domain to point the MX to Google Apps, and my actual domain's server with the lowest MX priority. My idea is to have my primary emails on Google Apps, where the secondary are via Cpanel. Is this even possible? Currently MX records read: 0 Google 4 Google 4 Google 9 Google 9 Google 10 My server I have [email protected] which is added in G. Apps, and [email protected] which is only added in cpanel.     I know that 25 lines of lock free code is harder to do than 1000 lines of On_Click()... code but I wonder does anybody know in general what is the productivity of the average programmer in top tech companies. Motivation: I often go ??? mode when I see how low LoC/ day i produce(Im new to the my current language and Im part of the big project, but still..) and I would like to know how bad I am. :) If you are gonna warn me that LoC is a terrible measure I agree, but it is most exact one in a sense that I cant go and write 0.01% of Chrome or IE and say it took me this long so....
